Got my fish license here, new fishing rod and fishing supplies. The owner and worker was nice and helpful. They gave us good tips.

I do not recommend this place when you ask for information on the fishing license, as always the Latino who works there tells you the computer does not work, no licenses for now, maybe tomorrow

The owner it was very helpful and the prices is was unbeatable nice stuff fresh bites and lot more I recommend it to everyone. Fishing rode for everyone for all the needs!

Very nice place, somewhat clean but managed by one person so what do you expect lol. Wide variety of gear, fair price. As a fisherman I find this a very good store when considering New York City. Jacks bait and tackle is still better though, so those who live closer to city island choose them. Corona bait and tackle is your next best bet

Nice selection and reasonable prices, if u know what you want is good otherwise they very busy to assist you, the latino guy there is quite helpful and friendly but u must have time and patience if u are a beginner in fishing.

Not the best tackle store in the area.the store seem not put together and the owner that works there is rude and unfriendly.

Highly recommend this shop! Very informative sales person that is extremely passionate about fishing. He doesn't rush the customer and instead helps you find the products within your budget and takes his time to listen, than explaining everything and how to set up your fishing line. Will go back to shop again!

I live in Brooklyn and this place is great, it has all kinds of fishing rods and bait. I recommend you with experience fisherman

I was looking for blood worms?

An the owner a Asian guy told me, if I need 2 dozens I have to buy something else to get those.
Is that right?
I went to another bait a d tackle and get those big worms? With no excuses not even buying anything else.
I will never go there with that Asia theft.

Come here to pick up green crab for black fish, no luck for catching black fish but the boss is nice here LoL

When I got the green crab, I made a deposit for 2 bags. When I got there, they only had 1 bag and they charged me $50 instead of the $40. The person that was selling it was also rude. Last time I bought it was $40. Don's buy anything from here!

Very good Bait & Tackle. They have everything you need to fish locally and the price is right. Go catch some fish.

After wait near 2 hours to get help, the owner and one of his workers recognized that I needed help and proceeded to help me. They apologized for the wait and even gave me a few dollars off. I purchased a penn fierce 3 5000 and a tsunami trophy from this store. Even though I waited for such a long time, I was very happy with my experience there as they were very helpful.

Fast forward 2 weeks, I went back to purchase another reel a penn pursuit 4000. Now this is where the issues starts. The first reel that I bought broke down after a day fishing at the beach. As a novice fisher, I did some googling and tried to fix it. And after some diligent cleaning the reel was back to working order. Having discovering this flaw and my decision in buying the pursuit. I called to see if I can exchange the pursuit for a better reel as I was still within their policy. I called the owner, he said as long as it in the same condition as when I bought it.

When I went to the store to purchase another rod, a tsunami carbon shield to pair with the pursuit (or new reel that would exchange for). I was informed I can't exchange the reel for another one even though it was in the same condition. They claimed I used it and therfore cannot exchange. I understood their argument as to why they refused to exchange it for me. But for such an inexpensive reel (49.99) and wanting to upgrade to a better peen clash 4000 (above 200) along with the carbon shield (120). I would expect some leniency, but instead was given a "no cannot help".

With that being said, as a customer and a fairly new fisherman, this of course left a sour note on my pallet.

It might be a good Store when it opens. But since it says in the website that opens at 3: 00am and I've been waiting outside for a while at 5: 16 it's making me waste my time.
That's terrible for the business.
