My favorite diner in NYC! The manager is always so attentive and serves the customers along with the wait staff.

The manager was very friendly. Came by and greeted us. Server was eh. Didn’t have much of a personality, but was also busy.

He's a fool. The food is not of good quality for what they charge.
At first we were served by a super friendly waiter, although what it says on the signs outside is misleading because then the continental breakfast includes almost nothing, only black coffee (which is tiny) and the sweet without anything.
Afterwards, we were served by a very rude woman who was annoyed that I asked for something else. Immediately, he brought me the bill without asking for it and told me that the tip was NOT included, that I should leave what I can. And that's what's really bothered me, that he lies to me. We would not have the obligation to give tips when your treatment has not been polite. And it is very unpleasant that they ask you for it when they then automatically charge you for it. Furthermore, when he handed me the bill, he was nearby watching, we had the feeling that he wanted us to pay and leave now. And of course, handwritten as others say.
The manager seemed polite.
A shame, I will not return and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Bad restaurant, I think some last reviews are false, the restaurant is very dirty, it doesn't have wifi and one of the waiters is very arrogant

Found this one while looking for a diner and tried it. Definitely NOT recommended - unfortunately zero stars was not an option! Quality and price do not go together at all. Far too expensive for this quality. Staff is ok, the diner itself is rather semi-clean.

This is a g-r-e-a-t place with good food, nice people, fair prices, and a great location near many Broadway theaters. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, with good lighting, many tables near windows, and classic posters from famous plays and musicals. There is an extensive list of items on the menu.something for everyone. I chose the salmon salad. It was big and fresh, with two excellent pieces of grilled salmon.

I highly recommend the Cosmic Diner and I plan to return soon!

Lettuce and tomatoes do NOT make a burger DELUXE! Especially when I never asked for them.
2 bucks for a spoonful of mushrooms?
Plus tax.
Plus non cash charge.
A burger, which was clearly microwaved, should not come to $32

Great place to enjoy high quality, classic, American quiet breakfast while sitting next to window looking out onto 7th Ave. We enjoyed the bacon and eggs, waffle and yoghurt

Truly a terrible experience. First, the servers took forever to take my order. The server left after I asked if the iced tea was sweetened. I had to ask someone to come back so they could take our order. The food didn't come out at the same time and NOTHING tasted good. We ordered a combination of breakfast and lunch and of the 7 of us, no one enjoyed anything they received. Truly a regrettable experience

Staff are amazing, personable, friendly and attentive. Food came quick and was perfection!

The food was fine, typical diner food. What I didn't care for is that they added a tip automatically, even though we only had 3 people. I wen to the cash register to talk to the person but didn't find them there.

This was the worst diner I’ve ever been to. I understand that I have to keep my expectations within reason when eating at a diner, but this place was actually inedible hospital food. Also if you’re going to charge $20+ for an entree, can it at least not taste like it was sitting out for 3 hours and then microwaved when I ordered it

Great diner - a good range of food, with all the usual breakfast items. Food came very quickly and was all correct, tasted great and was hot. Can’t really ask for more. Child friendly (it was Easter and they gave our kids a small little gift). Service was also great - everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend this place and won’t hesitate to return.

Nice staff, great location, constantly cleaning, but the food itself was mediocre and not tasty at all, maybe ordered the wrong thing: We ordered from the main entrees, wonder if it’s better known for breakfast? ! The veggies were tasteless and found a small hair on my plate? ! Anyways, will not return.

The place to go for breakfast. Amazing food. We had the Western omelette and eggs benedict washed down with coffee. Friendly staff as well
