Costco Wholesale, Rochester NY

The only thing I don't like about Costco is that they don't Mark the aisles with what product is in there. So if you're not familiar with the store as I'm not I don't know where to find stuff so I'm heading all over the aisle I think they do that for people to get whatever they want impulse shopping you know they got in caps full of all kinds of stuff so makes sense. Prices are decent just got to catch the sales great experience quick check out. Came at 9: 30. Would not recommend that big line but if you want in and out that is the time to go

No Marbled meat, bunch of poor people sneaking around in hope to steal some piece of rotten chicken or pork.

Canceled membership. Have a excellent credit rating and they denied a credit card. The place is way too crowded. The Liquor store is not really affiliated the employees told us and the gas station is a hurry up and wait.not my kind of place

It was crowded considering the time of the day. Kirkland items are good. Not a lot of variety of clothing but the quality for the price was really good.

The premade salads were really good. The bakery items were in large quantities and suits larger households more.

Upset with hearing aid dept. Called Monday to ask for assistance in getting a broken ear mold replaced. No call back. Called back on Tuesday and made contact with a receptionist who told me ear mold was still under warranty and I needed to come in to see a technician - no appointment necessary but a 62 mile round trip. Upon arrival I'm told not under warranty and I had to pay $39 for a replacement. No explanation why warranty status changed between Tuesday and Wednesday. Also no explanation why I had to make the trip in when it could have been handled over the phone. Not concerned about the $39 as much as the wasted time and travel and the unconscious responses from the receptionist. Where is the supervision and training?

Great place to shop for frozen Asian food, like shrimp tempura, Szechuan shrimp wonton, tonkotsu bowls, hami melon, mochi snacks

Good stuff. Too easy to overspend on impulse buys. The executive membership pays for itself in no time. Cheapest gas in town. Needs more scooters for those who have trouble walking.

Imagine my surprise and embarrassment when I'm at the check out counter and the Mastercard debit card I have always used to pay for my purchases was rejected just because it has a Mastercard logo on it. Well I wouldn't want to mess up costcos little arrangement with visa, and I guess since you no longer honor my card and I have no intention of switching just to make you richer I can no longer pay for my membership. So long costco, now would be a good time for Sam's club to decide to reopen in Rochester ny

Wish they could bring back whole milk yogurt I think it was mountain high brand. Very yummy yogurt at a reasonable price. Also wish they could get wheat flour from India. Other places do have aashirwad / royal brand with Amitabh bachhan.again at a reasonable price.

Great store but huge, and can be overwhelming to locate things. Gas prices are decent and the lines are long - bring your patience.

While visiting in Rochester, I picked up a couple of items I'd need for home. Best was the inexpensive gasoline fill-up, at least 30 cents per gallon cheaper than local stations. The store itself was up to COSTCO's usual standard.

Costco's a great store. This one I'm particular is kept very clean, and orderly. Lots of staff making sure that miscellaneous items are put back where they belong, and are picking up any trash they see as they go through the store. Staff members were very friendly and helpful

This seems to be a slightly larger Costco. The isles seemed slightly wider. They have 5 automotive bays. I liked how the self serve food kiosk was located in front of the food area.

This location also sells gas. They don’t have as many pumps as my normal store, but it wasn’t crowded and the lines moved fast.

It wasnt easy to find parking near the entrance, but at least inside things went smooth. Got everything I needed and even the return line was shorter than ever.

Costco is a good place for shopping and fun. You can get items in bulk. The price seems reasonable for me, mostly because they are available as bulk packages. Great fan of their coconut oil, spring roll and many more. But one negative thing is that, mostly you don’t have a choice is picking up, only one brand will be available and you don’t have any other option in most of the cases. But still that product is amazing and it’s so good. So it’s at its best. Moreover, it’s fun to go shop at Costco and apparently I couldn’t forget their Slice Pizza! I have a slice and then push my trolley for a happy shopping!

I love Costco. Great prices and great customer service. Always enjoy my shopping experience there. Such amazing produce btw.

Great store, wonderful hard working employees, they are handling the COVID19 directives perfectly. I feel we are very fortunate to have a COSTCO in Rochester the only thing better would to have a COSTCO on the west side of Rochester, say in Greece or Gates.

Another great Costco experience. First time visiting and certainly not disappointed. It’s like being home again. Limited alcohol sales. Beers, hard seltzer and sangria. A non Costco liquor store is attached with pretty good prices. Spotless clean and very well organized and maintained. Tire center and gas station on property.
