Court Square Diner, Queens NY

Love this place have been going for years the staff knows me and my daughters very comfortable and relaxing the food Is amazing

Portions are huge and the food generally tastes pretty good. I’ve tried the meat spaghetti, french onion soup, burger, and pancakes—all of them were above average. Like the fact that it’s open 24/7. Beware though, there are a few stairs you need to climb up so if you have a stroller, you’ll need to carry it up.

This is my first time to try this restaurant but it was unpleasant. I’d like to give 0 star if I could.

1. Bad risk management
I ordered a pickup and paid beforehand, but when I arrived they told me one of my order is currently unavailable, so I can only pick another item at the same price
I asked for a refund, but for whatever reason they said they couldn’t do that
They didn’t offer any compensation for the mistake. All they tried is told me to exchange another food I’m not interested in at all.
I took the other item but I was unhappy
For other restaurants as well, please update unavailable products so this kind of thing won’t happen again

2. COVID concern
For some reason staffs I saw didn’t wear masks, and it’s a restaurant! I wonder if kitchen staffs don’t wear masks as well.

3. Food itself
I ordered a medium steak, but it tastes like a well-done.
French toasts are 50% black.
Just personal preference but there’s very few sugar powder and no honey (I added myself)

4. Didn’t check the note
I wrote “I don’t need fork and knife” on the note but they still gave them to me.

Friendly and clean and NIKO AND HIS BROTHER are great people.service is excellent and the price is good what else can I say.

Always have a good meal here. Good food, nice portions, consistent experience. Have been here many times over the years.

A solid classic diner, but I can’t seem to get over the manager not properly wearing a face mask during the pandemic. I let it go a few times, and even mentioned it to him once before. Now it’s not only the manager who refuses to cover his nose and mouth properly, but the entire kitchen staff and servers now follow his poor example. I really want to like and support this business, but the fact that they can’t follow the simplest health guidelines makes me question ordering food there in the future.

Great staff, pretty good atmosphere, and really big portions. This has become a treat once a week with my best friend. It's a really great old school diner with classic booth seating.

They have indoor dining as well as takeout and delivery service. The menu is quite large with a little bit of something for everyone including vegetarian and low calorie options. I have yet to have anything bad yet and I've been coming here for a few years.

Lastly, the staff is awesome! Everyone is kind, personable, and very helpful. Overall a great experience pretty much every time. With plenty of leftovers lol.

I stayed in the LIC area the night before we went to eat breakfast there in the morning next day! My delivery & food was perfect the night before and me & my boyfriend decided to go into the Diner the next morning to eat breakfast, which was perfect also. Our food was nice & warm and we had friendly staff on 3/20/21 (9: 52am) and this place really never disappoints! I have been here a couple of times and I have to say I never had a bad experience! THANK YOU!:)

Dependable & great service. They have the place appropriately sectioned off for Covid. Not the best, but far from the worst dinner you will ever go to & 24 hours!

Couldn't of had a worse meal here. People walking in here with no masks, staff not taking mask policy serious, it was like i was invisible standing there waiting for someone to acknowledge me, i had to speak up about my order which took an hour to make. Fish sandwich was super dry after two bites went straight into the trash and fries for both orders were soggy mess EVEN THOUGH i asked for both orders please crispy fries! Money wasted is an understatement. Bye bye Court SQ Diner wont be coming back, i am better off with cereal for dinner

Can't believe a diner serves such food. Great portions and over the top (fresh and delicious) food, speaking for their waffles, pancakes and bagels. Great service as well, def tip them on the way out (even if it's just pick-up), you won't regret it!

Ordered pancakes, chicken cutlet and fries, and this was by far the worst diner i’ve been to, especially for the price it wasn’t well worth it, the cutlet was dry and had no taste, the fries tasted like cardboard with no salt and the pancakes tasted like it had no type of flavor.i’ve never been mad spending money on food! I don’t recommend.

So grateful for this place, especially during NYC lockdown. They always deliver quickly and are the nicest people. I meant to tip the delivery person $5 bucks for his service but two 5’s were stuck together as they were new bills and the delivery guy came back to return the extra $5 when he realized the mistake. That’s what I call CLASS. And yes, I let him keep it!

Ordered a wrap and a burger and they weren't that great. Fries and curly fries were decent. Kind of pricey for the quality.

Old school American diner. Huge portions, fair prices, great vibe, and literally at the staircase into the Court Square 7 stop. I’ve been here probably 30 times and it’s always consistent. Definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood

Omg! THAT WAFFLE DELUXE I GOT HIT MY SOUL! I usually don’t eat my whole order, but I had to. It was too good. If I’m back in Long Island City tonight I’m ordering from here again. Great prices too!

Good place for diner eats. A classic in queens. Had some pancakes early in the morning since it's a 24 hour place.

Fun fact, this is were Killgrave victims from Jessica Jones hung out and talked about their issues, so keep a look out on Netflix!

I admire this restaurant! They have good food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the clients is efficient. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.
