One of the last few hotels near the airport that treats you with Hospitality and does not sub for alternate living space aka shelter.

Clean Rooms!

Accommodating Staff!

Airport Shuttle Service!

This hotel has friendly and helpful staff. The building is aging and looks rough in general. The security feature on the elevator with room key required isn't activated so anyone can go to any floor without a room key. The elevator was beeping the entire time we were there.

Best customer service I ever had in my life was from Moveta. She is very professional and helpful. She makes the marriot feel like a second home. I will be staying at this hotel again, definitely!

AVOID Marriott Hotels - Unreliable & Unsanitary - Terrible Customer Service

My sister and I wanted to attend the US Open Tennis Tournament for a day. I booked flights on Southwest from Ontario, California (Southwest is the only airline that has good service from Ontario) to La Guardia, New York via Midway, Chicago where my sister joined me to La Guardia. We carefully looked for a hotel that was near La Guardia, near the US Open Tennis Tournament AND was surrounded with restaurants. My sister has some hip difficulty so can only walk for limited distances.

We chose the Springhill Suites New York JFK Airport/Jamaica, 140-35 Queens Blvd, Jamaica, New York 11435. Here is the description of the hotel from the marriott.com web site:

"Discover unexpected style and amenities when you stay at SpringHill Suites New York JFK Airport/Jamaica, near JFK airport. Our brand-new hotel is situated near public transportation for easy access to the surrounding NY boroughs. Music fills the air at Forest Hills Stadium while cheers pour from Citi Field, both near our Jamaica hotel. Grab a free, delicious breakfast before you start your day and end the evening with cocktails in our hotel bar. An on-site business center helps you tie up loose ends before meetings. Comfortable event venues with AV equipment and high-speed Wi-Fi make for the ideal board meeting space. Our 24-hour fitness center lets you schedule your workout when it's convenient for you. Apartment-style suites give you plenty of room to relax on longer business trips with separate work, living and sleeping spaces that help you keep up your usual routine. Lots of natural light, free Wi-Fi and spa-like bathrooms make every stay at SpringHill Suites New York JFK Airport/Jamaica a pleasure. "

We purposely chose a 318 sq.ft. Studio Suite with 2 Queen beds, included breakfast, kitchenette with stovetop, daily housekeeping, and restaurant in the hotel with other restaurants nearby (within one block), and an airport shuttle for a three night stay (September 5 through 7) totaling $743.76. Confirmation number 96708529

At the last moment, Marriott arbitrarily changed our reservation to the dumpy Courtyard by Marriot JFK Airport. This flea trap is a 253 sq.ft. (20% smaller), NON-Suite, NO breakfast, NO kitchenette, WEEKLY housekeeping and extremely limited hours restaurant (NOT OPEN UPON RETURNING FROM US OPEN TENNIS) and NO La Guardia airport shuttle. This is an old, dark, dingy hotel, NOTHING LIKE WHAT WE CHOSE AND BOOKED. This hotel is a very poor value and definitely NOT worth $743.76 plus $60 breakfast cost for two mornings and $90 taxi fare from/to La Guardia.
The room was NEVER cleaned or sanitized during our three night stay. This is totally unacceptable during these pandemic times. We had to call for fresh towels. There is NO room service (a very useful and prudent social distancing choice during these pandemic times). There are NO restaurants within walking distance of this low grade flop joint motel further away from La Guardia and the US Open Tennis Tournament.

We are totally disgusted with Marriott. Attempts to get reimbursement for the much worse accommodations (a form of bait and switch) have gone nowhere. Obviously Marriott does not care about providing good customer service.
AVOID STAYING AT ANY MARRIOT HOTEL! Marriott is unreliable (arbitrarily changing reservation at the last minute WITHOUT first contacting the customer and downgrading the accommodations to a wretched pit of a hotel AND refusing to compensate for the miserable, woeful change!

Things were dusty and dirty. Paint cracking in the bathroom. Plastic screen they had put up in lieu of a shower curtain was looking like it was about to fall off, the adhesive peeling away. For a one night stay this can be easily overlooked. What I can’t overlook is the bed which was simply not comfortable. Very hard, the mattress had about 3 inches of give before it felt like you hit wood. I did not have a restful evening primarily because of this. Overall it feels like a hotel in need of revitalization. While it does have the advantage of being near the airport, there are also quite a few other places near the airport many of which could be seen from my hotel room. Management of online review scores and proximity to the airport will only get this hotel so far. Eventually some actual maintenance money will need to be spent to improve the experience.

Hotel is old and outdated. In need of a whole facility upgrade. Luckily the only thing that wasn't dirty was the room. However all closet doors were broken off the hinges. There was no hair dryer in the room and no wash cloths. The rooms were also dark and had poor lighting. It did have quick shuttle pick and drop off for this is the only reason I give it 2 stars.

Very disappointed that this hotel has the Marriot name beside it.

I want to by saying the receptionist was very friendly and much appreciated.

So heres what was disappointing. The covers on the mattress were neat but stained.

The same with most of the bathroom towels. Next the actually room furniture looked slightly tathered and worn out.

Now those are just cosmetic. The shower head itself had orange grime all over it.very very gross.

Overall the hotel just felt run down and it needs a lot of love! I won't be staying here again.

This hotel is a bit dirty. Rooms just felt filthy. Unfortunately I did a 5 week on and off stretch here for work. The staff is friendly and accommodating but the hotel needs to be completely redone.

Roman the general manager. Excellent customer service, it wasn't just for me because I stood back and watched. He takes pride in his work and it shows. And he made my stay excellent. Great hotel, it was clean, shuttle was convenient, and if your looking for food you can find it. CRUNCH FITNESS under 2 miles away grab an Uber nice gym, 10 dollars for a day pass, first day is free. Again thanks to Roman EXCELLENT SERVICE PROVIDED.

We arrived last evening (Tues 6/16) and were warmly greeted by the front desk staff. To our surprise, the kitchen was open until 11pm making these two hungry travelers very happy. We ordered the half roasted chicken which was moist and delicious! Best of all our server, Miss T, was so pleasant that she made our dining experience that much better. The room was clean and updated.

We stayed here before flying out of JFK. The room was clean. For an airport hotel, it was pretty good.

Not clean - the two things that were clean actually in the whole room was the bed and the bathroom. Laps all dusty, floor has some litter on it and in general - not a very clean place. Outside the hotel room, carpet definitely needs vacuuming.
Rooms are old and not well kept.
However, bed is pretty comfy, welcome and the reception helpful and quick. Little store has everything they need and the bar/restaurant open late.

For proximity to Airport and comfort it gets a 4. Evening staff was polite and courteous, but morning staff including Manager were much less accommodating when it came to their shuttle program. I came down at 0505 for shuttle to Airport with no one around and was told next shuttle was at 0530. The shuttle runs apparently every 30 mins ONLY. No exceptions. They stated that making another run would throw off the schedule for the day, but I think the real issue is that the driver is also a cleaner because he was cleaning on the 4th floor when I walked past him at 0502. However, the driver and I both waited around until 0530 and then left for the airport with just me in the shuttle. We arrived at the airport at 0534 and that's after stopping for a red light at the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. The halls were not as clean. The issue is they use elevators as service elevators so the areas around the elevators look like service elevator areas. I will say the manager was very accomodating when I called to have my folio emailed. There is nothing to do in the surrounding area without a large cab bill. The casino is a giant video gaming facility and not a draw for staying here. I had the quesadilla and it was good but not $15 good.

Omg I've never seen that much dust in the visible place, I've wrote them a dust message:) Surprisingly support didn't responded for my cancellation for 3 days, neither they responded to my messages. This is my worst experience with Marriott and they are my preferred chain: (upsetting.

Clean room. Liked bag over remote. Bar and restaurant was closed and one of reasons picked. Plenty of parking block or two away so didn't have to have valet parking service park it. Actually no where to be seen on Saturday night holiday weekend.
