Cove Lounge, New York NY

Food was Great but bartender was very sluggish & included her 20% tip & didn't let me know it was included & doubled tipped her & clearly didn't deserve doubled or 20%, but my fault for not reviewing the bill.

A restaurant with a club on the second floor, Cove Lounge serves southern food with a carribean touch. My lobster mack and cheese was fresh and tasty. My friend got the honey glazed wings and said it was not fresh so that was disappointing. The rum punch cocktail was very good. Service was excellent. The club has a lounge area which is cozy and relatively spacious. The dj played mainly Jamaican music.

Not what it used to be. They have no working phone number for you to contact them, it's disconnected, you try to make reservations online, no one contacts you. And when you go in they tell you they have no general manager, leave your info and they still don't contact you.

I was there for Carribean Thursdays. I had an amazing time. The Rum Punch and Mojito was great.

The food and ambiance are always amazing. They switch up their drink menu seasonally which I love. They do have djs, some of the best in NYC to keep you moving all night. Make sure you go downstairs especially on the weekends. Be prepared to dance! It is a woman owned business and we all should be supporting those, the great service makes it easy. The lobster Mac and cheese is a personal favorite.crispy shrimp.get those too!

The place was just ok. It did take a while for the two waitresses to even acknowledge me even though I was sat at the bar in front of them. They were pretty preoccupied with talking to their friend who stopped by. The professionalism wasn’t really there as one of the waitresses yelled at the (only cook? Who also brought the food up) because he brought up one truffle fry and then was rude when he kept saying he only had one receipt. That same waitresses then took a personal call on speaker phone which was loud, I heard the whole conversation clearly. She then gossiped with the other waitress about how much she hated the guy who brought the one set of fries. The restaurant wasn’t busy but it took them a very long time to get things out and they weren’t the most welcoming. I ordered the burger and it was just ok, nothing special, it took almost 30 mins for it to show up. Then when I got my check it had 20% gratuity already added and then had a space for additional tip. Which seemed absurd given I ordered a $22 burger and was dining alone. Overall, too expensive. Too slow and not professional.

Came in with my girlfriends and didn’t think we would hang as long as we did. But the food (shrimp and wings) and drinks were banging. All staff, from our waitress Naia, to the waiter Luke, and manager Thomas (yes we are high maintenance), were all great. The DJ’s music was hot too. Obviously. Coming back with more peeps. Thank you for your hospitality. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great space to kiki with your friends.

Had a great time! Brought my wife here for her b day. We are from out of town and just looking for a good vibe with good food and we found the cove l. Chicken was 10/10 service 10/10.

Had a great time! Food, drinks and DJ were perfect. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. If you like salad, make sure to get garden salad, unlike any other garden salad. Will definitely go back!

Very accommodating.although they misplace our reservation they did An AWESOME JOB accommodating us. Staff was apologetic and very friendly.food was on point! Gotta try the fried Brussels sprouts! AWESOME!

Our server was very friendly and on point with the orders. Always had a smile and checked in often to replace missing items or take more orders.

Terrible service! My girls and I ordered appetizers and had to walk out after an hour with no food. When we closed our tab for drinks and let our server know we no longer wanted the food we got zero apology, just attitude.

We had an awesome time, great atmosphere, Michelle the bartender was on point she knows how to work that bar.

GREAT TIME. The infrastructure has been modified w/more room 4 patrons hence more leisure. Godd job COVE Lounge.

I had to wait 30 minutes to get seated, the manager Akila was just sitting there on her laptop while the whole store looked like a mess, the drinks were slow and the menu looks cheap so i just got a the chicken bites and it was undercooked

Place is fabulous. I do not drink alcohol so the Bartender was great. She made me 3 mocktails that were all great but the Nojito was my favorite.
Only reason not a 5 star is we ordered food, it took long to come and my fries were cold. Didn't want to send back because I was so hungry.
But I will be going back

The vibes was definitely great!
The DJ was spinning some good music and the service was great

Nice place I enjoy the people and the drinks. Small place but very Intimate if need to be. I had food from there for the first time and it was tasty price high but okay.
