Went for dinner and the food was delicious. The lamb, duck, ravioli were all very good. The complimentary bread was warm, and delicious! The service was also good. I had called ahead and told them we were coming for a birthday. I was hoping for a song or something as they did not say on the phone that they do not offer birthday extras. However there was no mention of it our entire seating. Slightly disappointed.

I have been coming to this place for many years. The food and service are great but the decor is in need of an upgrade. It is the end of January and they still have Christmas decorations. Someone has to be on top of those details.

I went here for brunch for my mom's birthday. Food was so good we decided to go back for me and my twin sister's birthday. Started a little rocky with the seating but Steve made up for everything!

Delicious! Love coming here with my family for dinner. The mahi mahi was delicious! Not pictured the clams casino and calamari appetizers (a must!). And the staff and servers are always so polite and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and the service, never disappoints.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Probably one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Service is just outstanding. Everyone is super attentive. I've been here probably about 9 times and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal, not once. The owner and son are very personable as well. Those veggies though.are on a whole nother level.

This was my first visit to Crabtree's, and I was incredibly impressed. The decor was lovely with the holiday spirit. The staff was charming and attentive. The food was "out of this world. " I ordered medalians of lamb that were grilled: 3 slices marinated in olive oil and spices that melted in my mouth. It came with smooth, delicious mashed potatoes and a variety of fresh vegetables. I requested green mint jelly, and then it was perfect. Crabtree's is a restaurant you absolutely must try, and you will return many times with family and friends. I'm planning to do just that!

The entire dining experience was subpar.
The food arrived late, and the bar noise was obnoxiously loud.
My husband, and I, continually voiced our concerns, snd then, when not answered, our complaints.
The area in which we were seated was very warm.
We asked that the door be opened.
The eventual response was that the frequent customers did not want the cooler air, and those customers mattered.
This was our first time here, and we had traveled a distance to sample the food.
The food was mediocre.
We had the salmon, and the Turkey entrees, respectively.
The mushroom soup appetizer was okay, as was the Caesar salad.
One of the workers curtly told us that we should be grateful, instead of voicing our opinions.

Great food, great prices, great service, romantic atmosphere. I've been there a hundred times and will go there a hundred more. Great date place, whether a first date or the thousandth

Two stars for attentive Service.
Dishes were BLAND, drinks were just okay, at best. They were out of the Berry mix for the Bourbon Berry, though.
Special Cod Piccata was under seasoned, drowned in flavorless broth and swimming in a sea of gratuitous capers. It was like an entire jar was dumped.
The Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli were 4 huge stuffed bathed in a cream sauce. Son did enjoy.
The Lobster and Shrimp Halibut was misleading. It is only a creamy bisque type sauce and does not come with chunks of Lobster or Shrimp, as we thought. This dish IS VERY GOOD, even with an overcooked piece of fish.
The Grilled Lamb was under seasoned.
The Almond Crusted Snapper was FLAVORLESS!
The Steak Dish also lacked basic salt.
Each Entree came with Israeli style CousCous and large chopped steamed vegetables (zucchini, Broccoli & peppers) and Beets, except the Lamb had Spinach and Mashed Potatoes.
They could have left those vegetables in the plain water they cooked them in because they were AGAIN WITHOUT FLAVOR. SALT or even a sneeze of seasoning!
This stuff is NOT CHEAP! They automatically add the 20% Gratuity.
Overall, there's way better food for this extravagant $330 BILL that wasn't worth the ticket it was printed on!
Pictures NOT worth it!

When you come to this family owned restaurant, you're not just coming for a meal. It's an experience from the warm greeting to the end with a friendly farewell. Very hospitable environment. Dimitri is the owner and he takes customer satisfaction to the highest level.

There menu has an option for everyone. Their offerings consist of fresh pastas, land, and sea choices. Be sure to hear about the daily specials as everyday is different. Each table gets a complimentary basket of warm assorted rolls and butter. Food is made with the freshest ingredients and highest standard. You can really tell that the chef puts individual attention in preparing each dish to perfection.

The waiter for my party was Luis. Luis is very attentive and repeats what we order to ensure its accuracy. He also constantly checks in with us to ensure we are fully taken care of from start to finish.

However, when you dine here you will be helped by many staffs as they all help each other. Staffs constantly walk around refilling your water glass without being asked. Utensils are replaced, dishes are removed, and table cleaned before each course is served. They try very hard to make it a memorable moment.

This place is small and very busy so reservation is highly recommended. Reservation can be made online or by phone. They offer indoor dining and outdoor dining in the back of the restaurant. Whether you go out for a regular meal or celebrating a special occasion, this place is worth trying. You will be hooked.

My wife and I have been dining at Crabtree's for about 20 years and it's one of the best restaurants in NY. The environment is very cozy and there staff over the years have been very pleasant and attentive. We have gotten used to there menu which has remained consistent with very little variation but with that has come perfection. There speciality is definitely fish which they do exceptionally well. Like most people we like to vary our dining experiences but so very often when we are pondering on where to go, we fall back on our old faithful.

2017 - If I could give a half star more I would. The place manages to straddle the chasm between pretentious, trendy, and comfortable eatery. The maitre'd was COOL, he had just enough "aire" to please the snooty crowd, yet seemed to be earthy enough for the rest of us, he was efficient, precise, and fast. The wait and bus staff were all excellent and had great sense of timing. My waiter was top notch but had a touch of OCD it seemed all the silverware on table had to remain symmetrical or he would rearrange it to make it so, if you wanted to have a little fun with him it would be easily accomplished. Now to the food, I ordered clans casino for appetizer, they were nothing special; then I had the filet mignon, it was perfectly cooked (medium) but even though it was not grizzly it was hard to chew, kind of tough. I eat lots of filet mignon and haven't had this problem before. The person I was with ordered cold lobster salad for an appetizer and crab cakes for the entree, the lobster was easily removed from the shell and was tasty and fresh; the crab cakes were very good (I tasted some myself), but they were on the small side especially for an entree. Overall excellent restaurant but I guess you need to experiment with the menu to seperate the epicurean stars from the duds.

Post CoVid I'm still not comfortable eating inside a restaurant so my Father's day meal was ordered from here takeout, for a pricey restaurant they provided the cheapest utensils available, the order was packed OK but one of the dishes were not fully closed and the sauce ran all over.
We ordered crab cake appetizer which was OK, kind of dry on a bed of Meslun, onion, and tomato. White Truffle ravioli entree, the sauce had run out, portion was tiny for an entree, taste was OK but not the dish others had raved about. Then there was walnut crusted salmon, nothing like the picture previously shown here with a whole fish, it was a 4"slab that came with beets, broccoli, yellow squash pieces, corn, and zucchini, taste was fair but with the veggies a suitable entree. Finally lamb medallions, was the outstanding dish, it was cooked perfectly, tasted very good and the mashed potatoes & mixed veggies provided enough to eat only bad part was the plastic utensils were not strong enough to cut or hold the meat so had to eat it caveman style. Compared with my previous rating I give 3.5 for the food and 2 for the takeout experience. To be fair it seems that the more expensive a restaurant is the cheaper they are with the takeout essentials, why is that?

We went after spending the morning taking photos in Queens Botanical Garden, opted to sit inside, the outside venue was packed & we wanted the AC.had the brunch-apple/walnut/chicken salads-fresh, nicely made, generous portions, with a mimosa made for a nice brunch-then for dessert a
parfait really topped it off-with some to take home.

Luis was an amazing waiter! Crabtree is a little hidden gem. We sat outside on a fridY evening. It got packed quickly so make sure to have a reservation.

The pomegranate martini was to die for!

Love this restaurant. I've been here twice, father's day 2018 and this past weekend (May 2022) with friends (6) and they loved it as well. We each had different entrees and all were good. Will be back.
