Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Clifton Park NY

Sat down slow service. Ordered after 10 minutes. Other tables ordered after us from same waitress and were served before us. After 30 minutes, waitress said will be right out. After 40 minutes had supervisor come out. And ready for this. She stated I have no idea what is wrong? Really. We left without being served. Clifton Prk

Absolutely horrible experience. First off if it’s company policy to throw down the bill before the customer even takes a bite of food that immediately should be stated in a review because that goes against anything normal in the hospitality industry. Second, the waitress coming over and topping off coffee without the customers consent is stupid. I have one cup of coffee in the morning no more no less. Many people do this as well. The experience was further ruined when the manager on duty came over and began gaslighting me and embarrassing me in the middle of the restaurant as if I did something wrong as a customer. I expect the bare minimum when it comes to diner service and for whatever reason Clifton Park waitstaff across the board has a huge entitlement issue.

Biscuits and gravy were also cold FYI. Paid $15 total out because I wasn’t going to wait for another copy of the bill and now going elsewhere. Time is wasted. I’m irritated. Complete garbage experience. On the plus side, I will say that this is a good place for the local garbage man.

Went here for a Thanksgiving meal to hold me over until the extended family could celebrate together. I will absolutely not bother doing that again. They had a limited menu and the items they did provide all had a soupy quality to them even (even the green beans.no idea how they managed that). I get that the place was packed on top of having to fill a lot of to-go meals but come on. The kids could stomach any of it and they aren't exactly picky eaters. They got two stars because the waitress was apologetic in a helpless to do anything about it sort of way.

The food is surprisingly good! You just have to deal with the off-putting southern Christian vibe, which can be tough

Cracker barrel has delicious food, the chicken and dumplings was amazing. Will be going back to try a variety of there foods. Services was great

I ordered the Thanksgiving turkey dinner for 8-10 from the Clifton Park Cracker Barrel. We had it yesterday with 9 people. It was truly outstanding!
I was very nervous since I had always prepared our turkey dinners when we were going to be home for Thanksgiving. And although this complete dinner comes with two turkey breasts, I had considered buying one more turkey breast just in case. I needn’t have worried. The abundant meat was tender and moist and there was an plenty of gravy.
Everything from the homemade mashed potatoes to the sweet potato casserole was fabulous! I will not be cooking for Thanksgiving in the future… Cracker Barrel is my go to place. At Easter, I will try their take out dinner as well! Thank you Cracker Barrel for making our family gathering a huge success!

Glad they were open Thanksgiving! Warm and courteous servers, and the gift shop delightful as ever.

Good for dining in but the online order for thanksgiving today that we are heating up im very disapointed with. I was trying to make it easier this year being on quarantine and I was hoping to get my moneys worth with taste for the price we paid Everything is either to salty or to bland. I had to promise my kids a real thanks giving meal as soon as we are able to because they where upset.sorry to complain just my honest review.

Was here for lunch today with my 5 year old daughter and our older cousin, the service was good, we were seated quickly and the food came quickly, everything was delicious. Bathroom was clean as well.

Who doesn’t love the taste of country with a menu that’ll give you just that. You will eat everything on your plate of perfectly per portioned country varieties that you just have to come back for a different plate. Truly something for everyone. Our favorite go to place with almost no waiting and thats good if you’re hungry now.

Update since my last review.
They sadly have gone down, I don’t like doing this but its for all your good. My meals have been unsatisfactory. My last couple meals have been atrocious. I won’t get into details but im not going back for a long time.

First try, Restaurant was way past the estimate. Dasher waited for 15 minutes before abandoning the order. Second Dasher had to go wait for the food to complete but also gave up.

Second try, food arrived promptly but it's awful. Inedible. Undercooked potatoes. Chicken that tastes like solid rubber.

Third time, after 1.5 hours my first Dasher gave up waiting at the restaurant and now a second Dasher is waiting.

I just typed out a review and I guess they deleted it. I guess I'll just say. Its horrible food. This was my birthday lunch and my first time there. I was deeply disappointed. The pot pie was disgusting. There were no veggies in it or very few, the chicken was old and chewy, the chicken had some sort of spicy breading on it, I think it was left over chicken strip they didn't want to throw out so they put it in there. Overall, the food was awful. I will prob not go back.
