Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
18I have had the fried chicken and pot pie, and they are both great! Never had a bad meal here!
The food is very good. People are nice, but it was way to cold the air condition was on while it’s fall and chilly outside. I think they need a second location the wait been long lately, but it’s always worth the wait. Best place to eat in buffalo closest you’ll get to home cooking.
The Sunday chicken was great but the hash brown casserole was somewhat dried out and the green beans were mush. So many empty tables but I think it's because of limited staff.
The only down fall for this location is the spacing. There is no way to social distance in the store or the restaurant. I ended up not shopping, as I planned, due to this.
Me and my family love cracker barrel. They have great food and a wonderful staff. The food is very affordable. 5 of us can eat dinner for about $50. Also the store is really cool.
I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel for sarcasm years since the one near me closed. I always enjoyed my masks there and I'm glad to say I still do. My fiancee and I had successful meals, quick service and our food was piping hot. And of course their gift shop is always a pleasure to visit and purchase unusual items. Thank u.
Always good. We try and stop here everytime we are in Buffalo, which hasn't been for awhile.
Everytime anyday. I come there is at least a 1/2 hour wait despite several tables being open the customer has went down really fast. Was there 11/18 an waited by the podium for nearly 20 minutes to put nqme in get told it would be another 30 minutes. Won't be coming back.
This was my first visit and I'm was very surprised at how amazing the food was. Wide variety of selections. The store was packed with various knickknacks. I could have spent all day there
Food has lost it's quality. The french toast was stale, eggs dried out, coffee was weak. It seems they have decided to make food for people dropping off loved ones to a long term care facility.
Same flavors I have known for years. I consider that a good thing. Consistency.
Great Family environment.
First time back here in a long time. I had the chicken fingers. My friend had the catfish. We enjoyed our meal. The prices aren't bad. We had to wait 15minutes to be seated but that gave us time to look around the gift shop. The wait for our food was a little long but not to bad. It was clean. Servers were friendly. Fireplace was lit!
Place was cold so everyone was eating with coats, sweaters or hoodies on. They can't turn fans off! They had tables open but when we asked to move, but they said they didn't have any. We sat down to relax not to have the food order lady come to the table 4 times in 5 minutes. We ordered but have to wait over 5 minutes for refills. This place is ridiculous unless you plan it all day
Great food, pleasant staff and fast! I've literally waited at McDonald's longer!
Disappointed and a little embarrassed.
Been sometime since I've visited, was looking forward to bringing a friend that has never been.
Took a half hour to get a table, not because they were busy but because they only had 2 servers on duty. Turns out the half hour browsing the store was the best part of the visit.
I've been talking up the hash brown casserole and the fried apples. Both were really bad, the apples were way overcooked (nothing but mush) The casserole was cold and the cheese was like plastic (I think it was imitation) Chicken Fried Steak was nothing but a breaded hamburger patty. My Fish fry was just ok, lots of breading and very little fish.
I gave 2 stars because we enjoyed the store and the sweet tea was just as good as I remembered it.
Actually walked out.sat there for 15 minutes and no one took an order. Two servers walked by and didn't even acknowledge us.
The food was great as always, this day it was a bit crowded there was a quite a bit of people around. There was no waiting to be seated good experience.
We have gone to the Cracker Barrel when we are running late quite a few times. This time was very disappointing. Not happy with our dinner. Two of us ordered the Chicken pot pies as we usually do. They were TERRIBLE! Very little under the crust.and very dried out. Never do that again!
