The perfect mix between creativity and authenticity, this place is a must try! The yellowfin tuna tartare tacos with mango wasabi guacamole are incredible! The staff is so welcoming and kind too! We love craft taqueria!

Beyond delicious. Rarely one comes across an eatery where whatever you had ordered tasted heavenly. Life in New City will no longer be boring

Food is always 10/10 but the scallops on todays special were so good I had to leave a review!

Visiting friends and tried out some authentic tacos in a suburban mall in New City in New York State. A revelation! Nothing like the big chain tacos. Full of flavor and creative fillings. If you have to limit yourself go for the tuna tartare and the Black Aberdeen Angus Skirt steak but all are excellent.

This is a very beautiful and quaint spot. The tacos actually exceeded my expectations and the service was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp tacos which were amazing and the sauce was so good. The sangria was also fruity and nice. I'll definitely be back. My partner also enjoyed his meal.

The food and their daily specials are absolutely AMAZING! I eat here and order for home, weekly and am always very much pleased. A must for those who enjoy good and wholesome Mexican fusion cuisine.

Presentation was really good. Food was not to my liking. The complexity of the dishes didn’t hit for my palette.

Nachos- warm, not hot. Chorizo, jalapeno, cheese all good. Tortillas thick and not very tasty (maybe little stale.)

Shrimp tacos- nice flavor of cabbage and shrimp, chorizo was little to sweet.

Carnitas tacos- meat very nice combination of juicy and crunchy skin.
The mango and juices of it didn't do it for me.

Baja tacos- fish overly breaded so i didn't get much fish flavor. The cabbage was good.

The tacos are different, they are very thick and dry.

Tres leches- don't do it you urself.

Overall the place tried to do something cool, unique and crafty. I think they're trying to hard and over complicating good quality ingredients.

We has a film crew of 12 that only had an hour to eat and Jeff and his team were incredibly accommodating and on top of things, even when we were running late and had last minute changes. The crew raved about the food, and had especially wonderful things to say about the service. 10/10, I wish I could feed my crew this easily all the time!

4 stars bcuz the portions are small and 1 tortilla instead of 2 sometimes the taco breaks and the food goes all over the place but still good

I’ve gotten takeout from here awhile ago and also recently stopped by in person for dinner; it was pretty empty and the service was excellent: friendly and attentive.

During dine-in, my friends and I shared the Crispy Cauliflower Tacos and Harvest Tacos, the 2 vegetarian taco options on the menu. Both excellent, but the Cauliflower tacos were a real highlight: it had a wonderful mix of textures- the soft taco paired with the crispy cauliflower. The cauliflower was bursting with flavor and the orange sauce on top was delicious. The Harvest Tacos were good too, though its texture was a little too soft / mushy. Nonetheless, it boasted delicious and bold flavors.

From my previous takeout order, I got the following items, all of which were delicious with fair prices (** = especially recommend) :
Grilled Octopus Tacos**, Organic Chicken Tacos, Black Angus Skirt Steak Tacos, Tortilla Chips with Mango-Wasabi Guac**, Sauteed Shrimp and Chorizo plate.

First time dining at Craft Taqueria today. Had lunch with my wife. We had red sangria, guacamole, carnitas tacos, Baja style cod tacos and finished off our meal with churros with espresso/chocolate sauce. Everything we had was fantastic and fairly priced given the quality and quantity of the food. Would highly recommend.

If you’re in New City you definitely have to check this place out. Corey was super friendly, and the food was absolutely incredible! The vibe was also super fun- even the music was great. We had the guacamole with wasabi, birrio taco and shrimp tacos - ABSOLUTELY recommend all three. The empanadas were also unlike anything I’ve ever had. We went home with a slice of olive oil cake too because it looked so amazing. Thanks for the wonderful night out!

The spicy chicken milanesa torta is gigantic and very delicious. Best sandwich I have had out in a while.

Best taco spot I've been to in a long while. Modern twist and absolutely delicious. Super fresh meats and fish and guacamole. Love that the chef/owner is at the grill every day. Great service. My go-to lunch spot.
