Crazy Beans reviews
14The food is always delicious. There's different specials each season. I've never had anything I didn't like here. The staff are awesome! They're super friendly and fast. I totally recommend Crazy Beans! Their french toast. My favorite!
This post was from 4 years ago. I enjoyed my experience back then but this place has fallen off. I’m sorry to write this review.
The waitress today was just OK but not that friendly. There was a hair in my chili and it wasn’t my hair. It was stuck in the chili and my niece and I stopped our lunch after that. My coffee wasn’t hot and the table/environment, yes its retro but it seemed very uncleanly. I was surprised at how dirty the table was and just in general the environment. Definitely thought this was a cute place until about an hour ago.
Love having breakfast, brunch and lunch here! Excellent coffee and food. The people are lovely!
I generally have low expectations of food establishments on Long Island.this was such a welcome surprise! Lovely welcoming people, delicious coffee, fantastic bread! Thank you!
This place is probably if not the greatest place to have breakfast and/or brunch on Long Island. When I first arrived there, one of the workers told me that I can sit anywhere I want, whatever it will be at a table or the counter. Once I heard that, I made the place my home, then I ordered one of their iced lattes and boy do they know how to make their customers happy. When it was time to order my food, I ordered the Cannoli Stuffed French Toast. I love how this place puts food to a whole new level by decorating their food to perfection. Now after all of that, you may be asking me “Will you ever go back to Crazy Beans? ” The answer to that is “Absolutely! ”
You wait à long time for food that really isn't spécial. Tips are pooled so why don't the staff help each other more.
From the second we walked in the manager was very unwelcoming and rude. Was told it was an hr wait with no line at the door, there were 7 stools at the counter and 2 tables open. Staff did not seem that busy meanwhile was standing around and eating behind counter. Do not recommend this place. Rather go to toast or a diner. Terrible service
I was a little taken back until I walked in the food was good to too many coffee selections for me. I like my coffee black lenol I will probably go back for breakfast
The reason i gave one star is because there was no option for none! I wont be going back here! I ordered the 7 grain eggwhite sandwich and went to eat it and couldnt, the bread was soaked like it was dunked in water, very gross and i lost my appetite! The coffee not good either would rather a cup from 7 eleven! Wouldnt recommend this place!
Food very good. Coffee super strong so depends on your liking.
Service is too slow. Need more servers.
Cute place if you can live with mediocre service.
We popped in here by mistake and were pleasantly surprised. Loved the 50s atmosphere! Extensive menu with great varieties for breakfast and lunch.we got pancakes and a breakfast burrito, which were good. My daughter got a white chocolate raspberry latte which she liked very much, it was very sweet and festive! Perfect portion sizes, and the coffee was good! It's hard to find decent coffee these days. It's a very charming spot for a quick bite.
PS.oh, i need to mention one thing. If Cazy Beans reads this review, please ask your waitress staff to be a bit more friendly. I don't think she smiled once and didn't give off a positive vibe.
Food is great, many choices for egg based breakfast dishes and I love the coffee that comes in a larger than life mug! I like this trend of having Mexican and South West vice cuisine choices for brunch, it's a game changer from the regular full English you see everywhere. Asked why tips are cash only and our server said it's something the owners want and definitely not what the servers like. If you're reading this Crazy Bean founders, let us tip them however we like or at least give us a reason for this weird rule!
Great atmosphere and the food was great. Their lattes are something to give a try. Interesting flavors to go and try out
