Crestwood Shoe Repair Shop, Tuckahoe NY

Brought a brand new Ferragamo belt to him to put an extra hole in it so it would be tighter and the hole is completely crooked and towards the bottom of belt. He would not replace or repair belt that was his mistake. $600 down the drain for a brand new belt that is now ruined!

Crestwood shoe is AMAZING! I have been going there for years with both my wife’s Jimmy Choo’s and my own work boots and other shoes. The proprietor’s modus operandi is to personally assess the shoes and then “over deliver” with service and results that are exceptional—incredible, actually. I went to him with my wife’s Jimmy’s that had chewed up toes and work out bottoms and they came back fully restored, as good as brand new. He re-soles, restores luster, adds shine and makes them supple. The only place I know that is comparable is the place in Grand Central.

Brought 2 pairs of boots to be repaired.
Both look like new.
Very inexpensive.
The owner and his staff were very pleasant and clearly hardworking.
So glad I found this place.

UPDATE! As of 1/14/23
After bringing my boots to another shop, who confirmed the stains left on my boots are removable, they suggested I bring it back to Crestwood, which I did this past Friday. I was pleasantly surprised the owner took the books back offered to clean them and they would be ready the following day. Happy to report the stains have been removed, and I get hopefully a few more years worth of wear. This is a redeeming post, because I value good service.

This is really a zero star rating. VERY DISAPPOINTED, ACTUALLY UPSET with the service received at Crestwood shoe repair. I brought my boots to replace the soles and in return I received my boots stained with what appears to be black dye. I was shocked. I asked what happened. The owner actually said it’s the type of suede. I stated this is not the suede it looks like dye stains I did not bring my boots in like this to which he replied we clean shoes we don’t dirty them AGAIN, shocked not only by the reply but as he stands there with fully black hands and gloves full of dye. I am floored at this level of service all because I want to support a local business. Shame on you! I paid for the cost of my two boots and walked out. Needless to say I will NEVER TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT again nor do I suggest anyone bring valued shoes for service. These boots are not cheap, which is why i wanted to repair the soles to begin with. I never asked them to clean them because I know a suede specialist needs to do this work. JUST HORRIBLE! If you do decide to bring your shoes/boots (I don’t know why you would), to crest wood, I suggest you photograph them with a time stamp. Photos attached!

First time coming here. I showed up at 3pm in the afternoon, needed 3 pairs of shoes shines. The gentleman at the counter took my shoes and had them looking like new in just under 30 minutes! Quick, great, and happy service. I will definitely be back!

Giuseppe is amazing. His work ethic is quality, fast, super friendly old school. I bring all my repairs and shine to him. Highly recommend!

This shop is amazing. A real throw back to how business was done years ago. I’m not sure which is better the quality of the workmanship or the friendliness of the owner and his staff. They work on much more than just shoes. He fixed a leather coat that someone would have charged much more for what was only a simple fix. I can’t recommend this place enough

I recently bough flats and the strap of one of my shoes came off, I decided to take it to Crestwood shoe repair. Not only did he clean up my suede flats they fit and look better than before. Highly recommend this place.

The owner Frank and his staff are wonderful people very accommodating, prompt and thorough. Best service around.

They were able to replace the soles on a pair of boots and keep the stitching instead of using glue. Really nice people, fair prices. This is the place you're looking for.
