This isint a thrift store. Its a used clothing store. The prices are still very high for used and smelly clothing. Used tops are a minimum $18 and up. They charge h&m and zara prices for overly used clothing, if its designer and used still pricey for a “thrift” store.

Don't get me wrong, the store selection is perfect, but - just arrived home and checked the bill, as I bought stuff for 180$, and I discovered they didn't apply discounts as they're listed on the price-tags, I paid about 30$ extra because of this. When you visit, and I recommend you do, properly check your bill before you leave (this is not for the first time this happened to me in Brooklin).

Amazing experience every time! I’ve came in on multiple occasions and brought tons of bags (feeling extremely guilty about it) and they’ve always greeted me with a positive attitude. The consignment is fairly priced and easy to do. Recommend coming to this location. Chill and sweet staff.

Selling experience here is the worst I’ve ever had at any crossroads location. I understand taking the time to assess items but these people are just chatting among each other and leaving to do random things while the seating waiting area fills up.straight up purgatory vibes! You’re better off selling at any other shop.

Crossroads definitely has the most inclusive bright and welcoming staff. Every time I come to this location I'm greeted and treated like I am a normal human being, not a suspect or potential thief. John is an incredible manager with incredibly High personal skills. John listened to me with a high amount of empathy and understanding.
German has incredible patience.
I came to this location was after being shut down by Beacon Closet in (Bushwick) four times in a row with no explanation selling, only new clothes with tags on them. German handled my situation with Incredible professionalism. (P.s I definitely apologize to him). This is the best location to Thrift in new york. 0.

To speak to:
John
German
Forgot his name but the gentleman with the earrings. You know when you see him LOL

Higher than average selection of clothes for a crossroads, but it seems to move 4 times slower than usual. Waited an hour to sell our clothes, and we were 2nd and 3rd in line, which ballooned to 8 people while we waited. Spent 15 minutes assessing 7 items; checkout took like 5 minutes per person (someone was waiting behind me when I was cashing out my sale and they put back their item and left). This was at 3pm on a Friday, the store was not busy at all.

The best Crossroads I have been to! Very friendly and awesome staff with good wide selection of clothes and accessories. Shout out to Wallace and Frank!

This is not Dior or Chanel, there is no reason for the workers to be so rude and judgy. Feels like teenagers working here, taking more than 5 minutes to cash people out in the midst of long lines the workers just don’t care just chatting to each other like there not on the clock. Needs more professionalism and not stuck up non fashionable workers! Stop ignoring customers, been here multiple times with the same experience

The staff likes to talk a LOT.to each other.work at a snail’s pace but at least my stuff was priced properly i guess but they’d get a lot more work done if they didnt talk so much

TERRIBLE!

I had sold there a few times and it was always pretty decent. Last time I was there was earlier this year. I had a great time, the young man who bought from me was very nice and knowledgeable. He was not condescending or rude.

This time around, selling there recently a few weeks ago. I went right at opening. There was 2 people in front of me. They had 2 buyers. The 2 people head of me did not have a lot. It took almost an hour and a half to get to me! With TWO buyers!
Probably because the staff was having personal conversations with each other. And not doing what they were supposed to be doing. Everyone was annoyed with them.

They were also discussing publicly in front of me and other customers other employees at the store and discussing an employee who just got fired and laughing about it. They were talking about their Halloween costumes, everything else but their actual work. The manager a young man with bleached blonde hair was talking about how much he loved Julia fox! Eeeww!

This is why it took so long! When I finally got to sell, a young man was somewhat nice but dismissive and lazy. Was opening complaining about the job. Did not know anything about fashion or brands. Every item he had to ask someone what he should do. Another young woman with short blonde hair was super rude and acted like she did not want to be there.

This was one of the worst experiences. They purchased a lot of stuff, as always (I have great stuff) but the laziness and attitudes of the employees was so off putting, I do not think I will be back.

I liked their selection of pants and sweaters for women. They had some cool graphic tees and jackets for men as well.

Me, ready to pay, clothing in hand: Hi!
Duo at cash register, talking to each other: No response
Me again, clothing still in hand, still waiting to pay: [louder] Hi!
Duo at cash register, talking to each other: No response
My point: if you need proof that it's now impossible to hire anyone with a brain for retail jobs, this place is it.

The clothing selection is great. If you are selling, you should expect to wait over an hour. The staff is slow and I is extremely evident that they do not want to be there. So many staff all moving as slowly as humanely possible.

After seeing many negative comments I was thinking that there’s no point of getting my clothes there. But I still risked it and I’m actually happy. They took everything, except from summer light clothes, and I got around $10 a piece in trade in. I honestly didn’t expect to get crazy amount of money, I just brought regular fall clothes, from brands like H&M, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch. The line was taking forever, that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars. I had enough time to check other stores around until finally I was notified that it’s my turn.
On the customer point of view, I think that they have a good selection of clothes and I’ll easy use my trade in money to purchase something from there.

The store has a great selection of clothes! There are a lot of brand names and that does impact the price which is high. If you want to sell your items, it will be great to become familiar with what the trends are for that area before organizing the clothes you have to sell.

Its so hard to sell in here if you don’t come before 5. Also I’ve been calling literally all day to speak to a staff member and the phone just rings and rings until someone answers then hangs up. I’ve been doing this for 3 hours now.

Selling? Don’t waste your time.

Every time I come in during the week, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get checked in.let alone wait them to process your clothes. I waited over 30 minutes and didn’t move in the queue to check in. Donate to Monk or make an appointment to sell at Buffalo Exchange. Also the clothes have sweat stains, food on them.

I seen these people in there behind the counter steal people's clothes who come in trying to make a few extra dollars trading in their stuff

The prices are high, not such a gender inclusive vibe for a hip area, lines are long, salespeople are burnt and negative. No thanks
