Such a beautiful, daunting, and magnificent landmark of the ingenuity of human kind (doing what beavers do). Dam. I'm in awe.

The unreal beauty of the dam, to go after the rains, otherwise there is little water.
And driving a car on a not-so-hot day. On foot - a total of about 10 km.

Awesome and unique views, cascading waterfalls and the bridge is breathtaking.
I was sceptical when my friends suggested visiting the place - I am a convert now!

Bring $10 cash if you don’t have a park pass. The closest ATM is 2 miles away at Chase bank (even if the bank doesn’t work the ATM works). You won’t be let in without paying for parking.

The dam and the park is breathtaking! You can take a trail all the way up to see the dam, it’s not too hard to go up, well maintained trained (beginner’s level).

There’re restrooms (porta potties) and space for having barbecues.

The croton dam is nothing short of beautiful. This is set up as a nice park with plenty of picnic options. $10.00 to get in but if you park in the upper parking and walk across the dam and down the trail on the far side.no fee. It just depends what you want to do. If you are picnicing this isnt practical. For a walk or viewing, it can be. Was running an amazing flow yesterday from all the rain.just.wow!

Haven't been to this area in a while. It was very humid when we went but it's still a beautiful place.good location for a picnic or other family or friends gathering. We should've explored more but the humidity got to us. Perhaps next time!

Beautiful waterfall. Great place to sit on the grass and picnic. Parking is available. There’s also a park for children and portable potties.

Beautiful area & highly accessible. Very low technical difficulty, so it'd great for families (you will see many).
Access point to the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail- more of a walk than a hike

Beautiful park and dam, we ended up spending much more time here than we thought, walking across the dam and below where you can see some waterfalls, there are several trails and viewpoints to walk around. There was also an ice cream truck which was a nice bonus after walking all day.

Well the place is good. The think I don't like is you have to pay $10 cash in the entrance per person. It's supposed to be free for visitors, people are getting scammed at the entrance.

I had a wonderful time. The trails we nice and weren't to hard. Plenty of pinic benches to have a nice packed lunch. The waterfall was simply amazing. We spent 5 hours there. I will be back again differently.

Beautiful scenic of the Croton Reservoir Dam. The park is well maintained, and the short trail was pleasant for an easy stroll

Absolutely beautiful place! A must see. There are Areas to picnic trails to run and playgrounds to play along with beautiful falls to view. Bike and running trails are close by and they go for miles. A great place to workout I run here often.

One of the most stunning places in the state, simply put. This dam was built nearly 180 years ago and used to supply NYC with its water, until the City's population grew too large. The architecture is incredible. The minute you drive across the little bridge and set eyes on it for the very first time, you feel like you are in the presence of something very special. Come check it out! Note: there are two entrances. The south entrance will take you to the park at the base of the wall, and the north entrance will take you to the top, where you can see the reservoir.
