They turned away my wife because she's overweight, citing "FDA regulations. " Per the FDA website: the regulations to donate based on weight is that someone needs to be at least 110lbs. They don't deserve anyone's business. Not ever.

Hours say tuesday open at 7 am.
They lie about this.

730 still not open. Line is long standing outside and cold.

I had to leave a review after my last experience just two days ago. The first time I donated, they had a difficult time because I have small veins and they poked and prodded me, tried both arms, and the next day I woke up to a hematoma in my arm that grew into an enormous bruise that went all the way around to my elbow. I had to wait a month before I could donate again, which was two days ago. So, I just want to give a shout out to their phlebotomist Aleythia (I hope I'm spelling her name right, I only had one look at her badge). Once we settled on using my right arm, she got the stick on just the first try, and I woke up Friday to NO bruising. None! Which is unheard of cuz I usually get a little bruising just with routine bloodwork. She's great, and the rest of the staff were also very nice and friendly, despite my donation taking them past their closing time. I'll definitely be going back to donate, and thanks to Aleythia, I won't have to wait several weeks! Thank you!

Staff is extremely defensive for no reason. I asked what I would need to donate like my fiancé. And she told me original copies however when he went in he didn’t have the original copies… this has happened one to many times I understand the frustration but there is no reason to be rude and off putting i I were u I would waste my gas else where

Wonderful place. Everyone is very nice. Everything is clean. And the donation chairs are very comfortable. Pay is just like explained and more than expected ️

I went today and i choice to not get pinch by Nobody ONLY WITH TRUE. AND a young Lady name olha she overhear me asking for Him and she star tell me that i dont have no choice by Yelling at me and talking to me with bad actitud.i reply to her that if you guys dont pinch me to hard i would not call Him and she keep talking to me with actitud so. I Just ignore her by saying please mind your business.i know i dont have no choice but is not what you say is how you say.and the times that been came here i saw her been very rude to other patiens as well.

I am rating this place 1 star because I had to leave something. I live almost 2 hours away but talked with them on the phone and the lady asked my address and zip code amd said was good. I got all the way here and my zip isn't in their book so was for nothing

This place is spotless clean and a safe environment. The staff members are polite and very knowledgeable in their profession.
Plasma is very important for research and life-saving medicines.
They are under very strict federal guidelines so can't be for everyone, if interested I would call them for the guidelines. One of the most generous organizations I've ever experienced.

I like the people that work there very nice and the place is clean. Just wish it was a little faster

Very slow and understaffed. Employees that are there, are good. But such a lack of staff. Sat in line for over an hour before even getting to the chair

VERY disrespectful, and we applied online first and talked to someone before driving the HOUR to get here to make sure they were taking new donors today, which they said yes. Then after driving the hour here and walking in to get told very disrespectfully they aren’t taking new donors today by the two females upfront. Waste of gas and time. Don’t recommend coming to the Syracuse plasma place go else where!

Asked how much I would get paid for using this service and was told I was prank calling and sated “I can’t do this” and hung up on me… still haven’t gotten my answer.

This place is amazing! The staff is always so nice and welcoming I've been going here for a few years now. Yes it does get busy and yes we do have to wait but they always maintain to stay professional even on the most busy days. It's very clean never had a problem and they keep up on the cleaning and social distancing. Thanks for everything you do for the donors!

If anyone looking for a good place to go donate plasma in the Syracuse area please do not go to CSL plasma. The staff members are great especially one staff member by the name of Jay. He does a amazing job and very friendly. But the manager Kara she’s very unprofessional I don’t like her she needs to be fired. Every time I come there she makes me and a couple of other donors very uncomfortable. I personally do not recommend this place to anyone. I wish could give this place “0” stars

While in the vitals line today I watched n listened to Gregg treat this woman horribly! Then it was my turn and it wasn't a better experience for me. Some of my information wasn't in the computer from my booster shot so I got sent back to the Nurse.
She apologized for his behavior n since my health questionnaire was wiped out n I'd have to redo it on Kiosk I asked the Nurse if I could just leave.
I wasn't going to spend more of my day off being treated so horribly. If Gregg didn't want to be there today he should have stayed home!

They have horrible customer/patient service. The people at the front counter are rude no matter which one of them is there. And you can clearly see them slacking off. But the worst part is how they did my veins like I’ve been bruised for about 2 weeks now it’s ridiculous I’m not donating ever again thanks to the guys at my local CSL plasma.

While the idea of this is fantastic, this location is definitely not managed well. There are days where they run out of vital items needed to function. There apparently are days where they can't open till 3.5 hrs after the scheduled opening time, while people start lining up an hour before they open. This hastle causes many patrons to not be able to donate because they are so stressed and frustrated with all the hiccups of the management that their blood pressure is elevated and they get deferred.

I don’t think they take these reviews seriously, so many people I know have been bruised and left in pain while donating by an undertrained staff. Clearly it’s to the point where corporate is taking whatever the location collects without caring about experience or reputation.

Keep in mind that every review below mine complaining about pain or bruising there are dozens more unreported.
