I been going here for the last few years. Staffing has improved majorly. The only downfall about is the micro-managing. Especially with staff from another country. Communication skills with staff and donors can be improved, especially without being threatened with being permanently deferred. As it’s is a straining stress on your body to constantly donate. Some really do it, to provide the world with something that can save people lives. An the staff looks angry most of the time, being greeted without a smile can change a person thoughts on their experience here. No one looks happy At work.

They lie to you from the start. The location on Elmwood is a scam. Be very skeptical as there management are incompetent and I believe steal from the donors. Complete scum. Remember these words they make big money on your donations as they rob the donor.

I believe management is working on fixing the issues that prevent this facility from being better.

I feel this was the worse experience l ever encountered. I went there and was denied because my I. D. Had expired, so I went and got a new I. D. And went back then tell me that the address on The I. D.is not authorized to donate because it's affiliated with Grace Ministries which is a Homeless shelter. But they have apartments that you can rent from them. So I asked why is this and they couldn't tell me. I feel this is definitely discriminatory because do they feel people in bad predictaments can't donate. This is so Bad. I will never go through it again and the staff were so rude and it was more like.being interrogated

Jessica is the best! Beautiful and so nice. Merisha is cute but mean, but cute like a little evil baby with cuteness.

I'm a first time donor. An other then the wait time when I first got there everyone was very helpful with making me understand what was happening an going to happen, but the beginning wait time an the not knowing where to go or what was happening cause a lot of anxiety. Between watching the video an when someone finally called me was about 40 mins. I wasn't sure about anything an thought about leaving more then once because of it! But once I finally got called everyone was very helpful an it moved along very fast. I'm happy that I stood an went threw with it, being able to help other.

VERYYYYYY SLOW PEOPLE THEY RATHER TALK ANOUT OUTSIDE THINGS INSTEAD OF DOING THERE JOB IT CAN ONLY BE 5 people in line and it takes a hour for them to even get you passed the vitals check point because they are not at the desk or talking to people other than doing there job half the time. Very poor customer service staff are lazy and shows while they argue on the floor in front of us!

Terrible Terrible! Been to this place three times this week every time was extremely slow the staff is distracted and chitchat too much any other location Cheektowaga or Lackawanna is better with timing I strongly urge everyone to go elsewhere.the problem is the try to clear the floor before they let anyone else in a chair even though there open chairs

Waste of time the flebotomist aren't well trained, There is always a situation, either they can't find a vein or they didn't do something right went inyecting the needle, than they say not to use my left arm because of a reaction earlier and not even the RN. You wait hours at the line just for them to reject you. I went to the cheektowaga location, and the staff are nice. The flebotomist are well trained, I donate without any reaction and they used my left arm but at this location there is always and issue but now I know isn't me is the flebotomist not trained well at this location.

This is the worst place to go. They don't care whether you have changed the way you have lived your life in the past and have changed your lifestyle. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I came in well before closing, prepared with my ID and other documents just to be turned away without compensation after waiting for 2.5 hours.i showed up hours before closing knowing that as a first time donor i’d need extra time, but literally no employees were in sight at all when i arrived.i waited half an hour before seeing any employees at all walking around.another half hour passed before the line started moving.eventually i was brought to the back without having my vitals or ID checked, and when i pointed this out two separate employees told me this was fine and to just lie down.it wasn’t until a third person was about to insert the needle that they realized i wasn’t in their system.only then was i brought to the front to have my vitals checked, but then i was told it was too late and they won’t check me.i was told by another two people to come in tomorrow morning, but as i was leaving another person told me to not come in tomorrow as they won’t be taking first time patients.beyond frustrating to be in financial need just to be turned away because of employee’s miscommunication and not following procedures.it was only the woman who realized i wasn’t in the system and brought me to the front that seemed to have any empathy about the situation either, others were dismissive

No one at front stood there for 15 minutes before getting sent to waiting area say there for 1 hour no one ever spoke to me total waste of time

The employees were outside smoking. Got there at 7 am and they were out there with a line out the door and we just left it is 7: 25…

Had my first visit today. Super easy to start, just make sure you have time to wait because it took me about 2 ish hours to get all the pre testing done. Took about an hour to complete the plasma donation. I had a small, normal reaction and the employees were there and ready to help me. 10/10 excited to go back for my next donation

Extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient staff. Areas were clean, the facility was comfortable, and questions were answered readily.

A great way to help others and yourself.

1st time donor and my experience is not pleasant at all if i could not give a star I'dgivenegatives. I arrived at 8am it is now 1130am and I'm still standing in a line that doesn't seem to be moving. There are only two nurses taking vitals finally got my vitals to be turned away due to hydration and not offered a pass.bottom line just go somewhere else and I've heard the one in Cheektowaga is worse by far.

Staff is slow and unprofessional it takes an hour to even make it onto the donation floor and even longer for the staff to administer the needle to even donate
