4Terrible online banking support. Calling toll-free number and not getting any answer, only machine voice and music.
Terrible bank always closed the door without early notice, branch opened very short time since COVID also have no other branch instead of within same county, bankers are always cool face no smiling, closed account and never use it
The worst customer service I have ever met, platform have no smiling, never say hello to customer, teller are so slow, only two customers on line but we have to wait for 15 minutes, closed all accounts and never come back
My family and I have been with this bank since I was a little girl. We chose this bank all because they're Taiwanese bank and my parents wanted to feel at home. Over the years, we never had any problems with the bank UNTIL recent years where all the bankers and managers are NON-Taiwanese and customer service went down the drain. NEVER ANY SMILES, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL (referring to the VP manager). Throws away client information when asked client to get more unnecessary documents and then upon return inform client that document taken previously was thrown out assuming client doesn't want it. Clearly the manager needs training on customer service and filing OR maybe she only wants to serve super wealthy customers. If the top manager can't set a model in providing quality customer service, it says a lot about the bank as a team; therefore the poor ratings on GOOGLE and YELP. CTBC really needs to hire quality staff or at least TRAIN them in customer service.
