Curtis and I worked together for over 6 months and I observed his financial planning philosophy and process up close. He has the ability to integrate traditional planning along with workplace benefits including complex equity analysis and factoring in important tax implications. Equally impressive is how he is able to provide simple explanations in an easy to understand way for individuals to take action to improve their overall financial wellbeing.

Curtis does an excellent job breaking down financial planning into understandable content. He volunteered to helm a workshop for low-income youths in a job program I run, and kept each participant very engaged. He also followed up with them individually to guide them on budgeting, and told them about finance-related career pathways. If he can get through to broke kids, he can get through to us all.

Curtis is the first financial planner that I've ever worked with and didn't know what to expect. What I found, though, was someone who was really going to investigate his client's personal and financial strategy to come up with the right full-picture strategy for them based on their specific needs/situation - which includes things like spending habits, retirement strategy, health insurance decisions, property taxes, etc.

He really cares about answering the questions you have and helping you learn about things you didn't know to ask about. Also really helps that he explains things in easy-to-understand language so that it actually makes sense!
