Drug Store CVS reviews
23This is my first night visiting NYC after a long day of travel. Stopped by this CVS to pick up some toiletries and essentials but was racially profiled and disrespected by an employee. He was white, dark brown haired, very chubby, wears glasses. This was on Wednesday June 2nd 2021 @ approximately 8: 00pm. I am very compelled to submit a complaint and this review because I have never felt so uncomfortable before. It was so degrading that I even stopped buying the rest of what I needed and tried to check out ASAP. Suffice to say I will never shop at a CVS again.
The manager Nicole was extremely rude and unhelpful. They sold me an unsafe pair of glasses and wouldn’t even return them. I would not shop here.
Highly recommended! Got tested for COVID here! There was no lines and only two nurses inside, it took only 5min to get tested and leave, 10min to get a result on my phone. I guess that’s how perfect COVID testing property can look!
Coming here for almost two years I work overnight so every now and then I come to this store to get some things to snack on and every single time the same store manager on shift is standing behind me every time I go to purchase items. This is very uncomfortable and I don’t understand why he does it many of my co workers that comes to this store says he does the same thing we are all in uniform working attire so it Is very clear but yet he still be inches away looking over our shoulder. Someone needs to do something about this.
I experienced extremely uncomfortable profiling from the male and female overnight staff on Tuesday 09/26. After spending $31 I was judged based on appearance and alternative lifestyle then accused of stealing. Have never been so irrationally judged in a place of business before, LGBT & queer folk beware and dont give this location your business - there’s heaps of more pharmacy’s and 24hr shops this one does not deserve your business.
The level of incompetence at this place is almost impressive, if it weren't so infuriating.
1.the amount of times I have to say "speak to pharmacy" before I am sent to a human
2.the multiple times I have to call and have medications redelivered because their "super convenient at-home delivery" is not actually all that convenient
3.they charge you for the medication in said at-home delivery before *attempting* the delivery, so you could be charged (as I was) for medications days before actually receiving them
4.more that I can't think of right now.
In summary, CVS needs to figure out how to hire less-incompetent individuals. It needs to fix the "updated" call center model. None of this is the way to run an efficient and effective business. The whole point of these systems is so I don't have to spend my entire morning on the phone with CVS multiple times as well as my doctor and insurance company to figure out what they did wrong.
This CVS is pretty great. You can get most basic needs and wants here. Staff are friendly, and will usually help you if you need assistance. This CVS has beverages, food, snacks, tissues, and other common items.
Store was relatively clean. The two staff that I interacted with were helpful and were quick to act.
When ever I come for pick up they say it is not ready, can you wait 10 minutes. Then I say Ok I come in one hour to pick up when I come after one hour they say can you wait again 10 minutes as it is not ready. They don't do their job just wasting time.
Friendly staff.
During my stay in NYC I often stopped by this store because it’s so close from my hotel.
Would it kill these people to smile and be more friendly? If you hate your job that much, QUIT! I hear McDonald's is always hiring ;-)
We were staying at a nearby hotel and stopped here often (between 6th to 10th April 2018). The staff in here were the loveliest people we encountered during our stay in New York. They were all extremely helpful, patient and lovely and went out of their way to help us on several occasions. I can’t praise them highly enough.
Complete and friendly staff!
This CVS is one of my favorites as it’s well stocked and on my way to line 7 and Grand Central.
It has big pharmacy, lots of beauty products, food and drinks, gifts, greeting cards, pet care, chocolates, and NYC souvenirs as well. Very handy!
The staff are adequate, some are nice but there are those who are not. But generally they are helpful. Well, they have to:).
It’s open 24 hours. The CVS cards give you a lot if coupons and discounts. Make sure you have one!
This CVS is pretty large and well stocked. Very convenient location for me. There is even a worker there that seems to make sure everyone is taken care of. This is in contrast to places where you can't find someone to help you because they're chatting with each other someone in a dark corner.
Pretty big for CVS at one of the busiest places in NYC. They have almost everything including some items non related to pharmacy. I usually try to shop out of Manhattan, but this CVS is a place I am pleased to say that I am glad I found.
Never thought I could have a bad experience at a CVS, but today was my day. This place is severely understaffed with customers asking for help multiple times with no avail. I went to print photos machine didn't work each time and finally when I got it to work there was no paper to print anything on. 15 minutes later, no patience left and no photos either
The cvs in this location is straight up racist and not respectful. So group of my friends wanted to use the bathroom and as we all know NYC as a rule where you have to be a customer to use the bathroom. All my friends wanted to change after performing at the Indian day parade. We bought not one not two but three items making it a bill of over $10. Regardless of all this the lady at the pharmacy allows some of us to use the bathroom. We all were pissed off so we went to the manager and you know what's even worse the manager said "it's only under supervision of the pharmacist and it could be used for medical purposes only". To top it all the bathroom said "for customers only". The manager and the lady at the pharmacy were extremely rude and didnt know how to talk. This was a horrible experience which ruined our day at the city.
Poor customer service lazy people there and asking help to the general manager make it even worst, never again stoping in there.
Picked up my prescription there on a Monday and was helped quickly by the pharmacy staff. Staff were friendly (there was even a greeter). The store was clean and well air-conditioned and aisles were well stocked. Plenty of self-checkout lanes so I was in and out quickly!
If you want to see to rudest people in NYC stop by this store. The attitude starts with the store manager and goes all the way down. The all staff should be replaced immediately, otherwise this store very soon will be gone. It's about time to get rid of all this tired, rude, disrespectful people and bring new young energized people. Even one star is too much for this store.
