CVS, Albany NY

I really enjoy shopping at this location specifically. The employees are very nice. If I have to return an item or ask about a price, I am always helped out with a good professional attitude. The pharmacy is cool, but I find it difficult to get the correct information sometimes. I went to the pharm in person to update my information and an unhelpful blond pharm tech told me to call CVS caremark. When I did, CVS caremark told me I had to update my info directly with the pharmacy. Headache. When I called the pharmacy I got a much more helpful person over the phone and was able to update my account.

I absolutely hate this pharmacy. There are so many issues with them and they never have anything together. My info is wrong every time somehow, my name and birthday dont match online, delivery takes days no matter how close or far away you are, my doctor sent the same prescription twice in less than 24 hours and they are still “missing” a part of it. You call and stay on hold for 15 mins just to have someone pick up and then hung up. They all just suck and are a complete waste of time. There is not one thing I like about them.

The pharmacy staff are kind and professional in person and over the phone. They take time to explain to people how to fix common issues. Unfortunately parking is a nightmare and the drive through pharmacy lane is a demolition derby waiting to happen when the line from the bank next door backs up. Someone get a traffic engineer!

As much as I love this store, and it has some of the nicest people, it has one of the nastiest female bathrooms I've ever seen. The last time I was in there there were female napkin papers over the floor, wet tissue, overflowed garbage.was horrible. Please somebody clean the bathrooms all day during this coronavirus period.

This is a review of a one time visit as I don't live close by. My husband was just released from Albany Med. The pharmacy staff and security guard were very helpful. Appreciate their concern.

Thank you so much to the pharmacy on Scotland Ave for having the patience to help me figure out a complex situation with some medication. The pharmacist was willing to listen to me and her willingness to help is the only reason the situation got solved. This pharmacy works really hard, everyone is so friendly, and I am really appreciative of it.

I went up to the window to get my prescription last night, pharmacy was closing but someone was still being helped, so I asked if I could get mine as well. The woman said she was just doing the guy in front of me a favor and couldn’t give me mine (which was ready for pick up). Thank god it wasn’t heart medication or something keeping me alive.she didn’t even ask what it was either. I’m changing back to Walgreens. (Let’s not even talk about the time they said my script was ready and when I got there, they said they had to call my doctor to confirm the script). Whatever.

I truly like this CVS it's close to my doctor's office etc. I've hadn't had an issue and I hope I don't ever have an issue at this branch. It's clean and well organized. It's also at an convenient location.

High volume Pharmacy that’s completely under staffed! If you’re looking for that personal touch from a Pharmacist.hate to tell you this isn’t the place. If you just need a script filled with little customer service or questions answered this is your place!

VERY SLOW pharmacy. It's insanely understaffed and the reason is clear. Nobody wants to work at this pharmacy.
