CVS, Albany NY

Although this is a really convenient store for many customers, it is always OVER stocked and it doesn't make any sense. It appears that there is no real plan for the floor. There is no flow for customers to walk around easily because it's so crowded. It's also kind of messy because they try to pile things on top of other things. The outside is boarded up on one side I guess because someone tried to break in, but they can do a better job of boarding it up. Looks very ghetto right now. Prices also, I feel, are way too high by maybe $5.00-10.00

The pharmacists (i will not mention names) treat my mom like complete trash every time she goes there and over the phone. Today was the final straw over the phone I have never heard any business talk down to people this bad in my life I am sorry I have to give such a bad review but maybe by doing this they will have some training in how to deal with people At least a little better.

I get all of my scripts filled here, very good at keeping track of and filling all of my meds on time. The only downside is their small parking lot, but otherwise, this pharmacy is better than most.

This CVS has messed my medications up on a few different occasions. First, I had bronchitis and sinus congestion they put the wrong dosage and directions on the script and my illness got worse because I was not taking it correctly. Secondly, I went to go pick up my script that said it was ready when I got there it was not. I waited ten minutes for them to fill it and instead of 30 pills I got 13! I called as soon as I realized and they told me it's what they had in the system so I called my doctor and said is there a reason I only received 13 pills? And he said he sent in my normal script (mind you I've been on this medication for numerous years and have never had this happen with my old RITE AID pharmacy). I called CVS back and they quickly apologized and gave me the rest. Thirdly, I went to pick up my medication and they asked me if I would like to see if I'm eligible for prescription insurance. I was severely concerned because I have health insurance and prescription insurance is included. They checked their system and my insurance was deactivated but ONLY IN THEIR SYSTEM. I had to wait close to 15-20 minutes just for them to change the label and reactivate my insurance so when they ring it up its the correct price. Fourth, I have told them multiple times not to contact my doctor for my refills because I do that myself and it gets screwed up sometimes if they do it. So what do they do? Call my doctor. I don't know what happened but I went without my medicine for a few days. Anyways, I will be switching back to rite aid!

Great CVS. Has almost everything you need, and is conveniently located right across the street from St Peters Hospital

So management always greets you, she's friendly and she knows every song that plays. Location is tidy. Money gram services are always up and running. Location very convenient.

The Pharmacy is small but they try hard to make sure the customer is taken care of. The staff is very friendly and compared to other neighbouring stores, they are by far the best.

Great pharmacy staff. Parking lot can be overcrowded and hard to get into. Try not to go after 4 pm. It seems to be more crowded at that hour.

Great CVS. Large, has everything you need and more, and is conveniently located right across the street from Albany Med Hospital

The service at this pharmacy is the worst I've ever recieved. Every single time I go in there for an Rx, they are unhelpful, rude, and slow. I am switching to a new location immediatly.

I am a big an of this CVS. I have found the general staff very helpful and the pharmacy staff to be great. I have had to go see the pharmacy more often than i would like and they have always been helpful and when I have had questions they have answered them or if they did not know the answers they have found them out. Finally they are simply nice people. The only thing I don't like about this CVS is the annoying customers who decide that parking rules do not apply to them.

The pharmacist was fantastic. She called to let me know that a script that was called in might be too strong for my mom and there were other options. Mom has used this pharmacy for years

Pharmacy staff very helpful, go out of their way to please customers, friendly and courteous as well as the rest of staff in CVS. Always have a great experience with them!
