Drug Store CVS reviews
23These guys work hard for a community that doesn't appreciate them enough! Too many times have I seen customers give them grief for not being able to fill a prescription that doesn't exist! The pharmacy is efficient. Its crew will treat you with respect, and they will hustle to fill orders. The store itself is large for a Queens pharmacy and has the numerous offerings of a typical CVS including food and beer. Walking distance to the train station. Metered parking is adjacent to the store.
I had a great experience when shopping at this CVS recently. The staff was excellent and I need to give a special thanks to Satwatee on how personable and helpful she was when I was checking out. Thanks again Satwatee!
Satwatee is the best staff member, She is kind hearted woman. MST and Mossamat as well friendly and patience. God bless! I love cvs astoria.
I have been going here for thirty years and lately it's just got so bad the self checkout you can't pay cash or get cash back so you wait on line for register there is only two people working these two women talk so much that after 15 minutes I just left we have other things to do than to wait on line and listen to their conversation and their attitude is to bad just wait and then they don't restock I went to Walgreen near my gym omg so much better it's a shame this place has gotten so bad
I recently started using their pharmacy (within the last 7 months, right at the start of the pandemic), and have had nothing but very pleasant and great experiences with all the staff I've interacted with at the pharmacy.
My prescriptions are ready when they're supposed to be, they always greet me with a smile, and service is quick and seamless.
I'm extremely happy with their pharmacy!
The cashier, Mossammat, in this Ditmar's boulevard branch of CVS was very courteous and also very helpful in making sure that all of my coupons were correctly applied to my purchase. I was a very happy customer today!
It's a pretty decent CVS, just like any other CVS pharmacy. Its always very busy, and crowded because it's the only one in that area. But they do have weekly sales, and you can find great deals and they also have many coupons and promos to use to save even more, as well as their extra care points. It's pretty large, and they recently did renovate it to make it more spacious, but if you are in a hurry and looking for something its great to have in the area.
WARNING! Every time I go to this pharmacy it is utter chaos. The employees are not mean, just clueless. It creates so much confusion and unbearable wait times. I recommend using a different pharmacy if you can. It is not worth the hassle.
I was in hold for 40 minutes and then I was hung up on. I need my medication. Now I will have to walk over there. I mean, what if I were elderly.
Big and complete, but pharmacy usually have a long queues.
I like the fact it has a lot of choices for beauty products, households items and over the counter drugs.
It also opens 24 hours and so close to astoria-ditmars boulevard subway station.
The staff is (80%) great! Personable, helpful, happy.
The new store layout is a nightmare.
The photo area is always busy (in a good way) but DON"T send your images there from CVS on line - never shows up!
Pharmacy and people are so helpful, they give you time, they listen.
The reason for 3 stars: THAT AWFUL STORE LAYOUT - it is that bad.
Otherwise - such a convenient, 24 hour pharmacy.
I get my medication here and grab a few things randomly since it’s on my way home from the train. No complaints but nothing to love. The pharmacy staff are nice enough and always very helpful if my prescription gets messed up for some reason
A busy CVS with a huge selection. Wait times at the Pharmacy are barely tolerable but they have a huge selection of products and 24 hrs of service.
This CVS is TRASH and the pharmacy is TRASH! Theres never any staff around to help you and theres ALWAYS an issue pulling up your CVS card and loading your 'reward bucks" or coupons. The pharmacy staff is so unhelpful and unknowledgeable, they are always screwing up your prescriptions and never have things in order. I now go to the Double G Pharmacy on 31st street for my prescription needs. Only reason I go to CVS is because there are no other drug stores in the area, otherwise I wouldn't step foot in this place
Very nasty pharmacy staff, very bad experience, they don’t know how to talk they just want to fight you.ohhhhh my God what bad experience! They need a better management.
I have been to this store to get money orders. And a female employee at the photo section told me to bring my ID/passport with me for money orders. When I came back with my passport after suffer from the train traffic, she and her manager said that they could not accept my passport because it was issued outside of the US or Canada. I basically wasted like more than an hour THANKS TO THEM.
I APPRECIATE YOU.
I come usually in night time, this super market almost has everything with good prices and the workers are so gentlemen and helpful
The manager almost kicked me and my friends out just for trying to find one our friends that we lost and the lady in the store a worker called my friend a robbery because she "though" he stole something without any evidence to back up her claim. Including my friends was going to buy something and the manager said no you can not buy it and my friend really wanted it. So I recommend never to enter this horrible store even though it has good things it doesn't have good manners
They need more cashiers here, since this location can really get busy on certain hours of the day. One more thing they must consider: Hire workers how have more patient to people. After all, there are products here that require the attention of someone who really care to help. If you have been wondering, they have everything!
J'adore CVS! For the following reasons:
1) It is open 24hrs
2) One stop to everything you need.soap, medicine, girl stuff.
3) there is an urgent clinic (most insurance accepted)
4) It has a photo center.
5) there is redbox
The list goes on but those are my top five.
