Rude Female Pharmacist who was to busy being mean to show empathy and try to help a mom in need of medicine for a sick toddler. CVS on peekskill Beach shopping center soo much nicer.

Dan is the best! Always so helpful any time my family or I need anything.

Update: the pharmacist has changed. The pharmacy now closes earlier than the hours stated at random leaving people stranded and waiting. The manager says she has no control of the pharmacy, I’m not sure what she has control over because from ups pickups to staffing issues at the register there is always a problem.the store is always a mess, things left in the way. Gone completely down hill.

Michael the pharmacist has gotten a really good hold on the dyafunction that has gone on in the pharmacy. He and all the current staff are fabulous at taking care of all their customers!

With a few glaring exceptions, this is a bafflingly inept pharmacy.

How can it take an hour to count ten pills? Ask your friendly CVS pharmacist. How can a system say no refills one minute, then multiple refills after ten minutes of debate? Ask your friendly CVS pharmacist. How can one pay full price for a third of the prescription count, then argue, argue, argue to get the remainder filled? Ask your friendly CVS pharmacist. How can folks tasked with giving us our life-saving medicine be so devoid of drive or intellect? You know who to ask.

But shout out to Tevin - seriously. Dude holds that whole place together. If we ever walk outta there with what we came in for, it's literally thanks to him.

Update: My doctor's office asked me to confirm that the fax number they were sending the prescription to was correct (this CVS pharmacy only accepts prescriptions via fax). I called and the person in the pharmacy, Sonia (Sonya?), literally spoke over me as I was trying to ask my question so she could tell me that it was 100% my doctor's fault and that there was nothing to be done. She finally let me ask if the number was correct. She confirmed it was and then, as I asked if she could write my name down so there was a record when my doctor's office called back, she hung up on me!

I called back and spoke to the store manager, who was LOVELY and very helpful. After a few calls back and forth between me, the store, and my doctor's office, it was (hypothetically) resolved and hopefully I'll be able to pick up my prescription today (which was originally sent 4 days ago).

Original: This is a review for the pharmacy. They never have prescriptions and my doctors and my partner's doctors always have to call it in multiple times. It's incredibly frustrating. My doctor's office told me they're also incredibly rude.

Very friendly and courteous, professional. Haven't had same experience at Peekskill store on several occasions.

Worst customer service ever. Every time I go the staff is mean ans nasty. I have not yet picked up one Rx without a problem. And I can not get across how mean the staff is. I waited on hold for 30 min after a surgery to speak to someone and I hit every option after getting a run around when I finally got through she hung up on me.

Prescription is NEVER ready when they say it is. Text message system is garbage, call and talk to a human before going to pickup.

Don’t send your prescription to this CVS pharmacy unless you are willing to wait days or even weeks for it to be filled.

The staff at Lake Mohegan CVS are absolutely wonderful. The pharmacy staff are polite even when they are (obviously) very busy. The gentleman at the front check out is so patient - even called for extra help when he helped me with the photo printing - always clean - prices well marked - I am very pleased with their servie.

I do not like to write bad reviews, especially when the pharmacists of the world are working so hard. I had a really bad experience that just left a terrible taste in my mouth. I waited in line to drop off a prescription that I needed immediately. The window I was waiting on, happened to be the COVID window as well. I was next in line and asked to wait one minute between customers. This was totally fine. As I waited, two kids walked up to the window next to me and were helped by this pharmacist before me. They took a long time and nothing was resolved. I expressed my concern to another pharmacist who laughed at me as I was in tears. I suffer from major depressive disorder so this didn't make me feel heard and was just rude. I walked out. I will be changing pharmacy and no longer spending money at CVS.

I can’t explain why every single CVS pharmacy I’ve been to is a freak show, especially the pharmacy services. My first encounter here was witnessing 2 employees be sassy with each other. One of them asked me if I needed help, to which I responded positively but then he turned his back to me to chat with a coworker! Apparently he was not working that shift or that area but he was Helping to pick up the slack. He was upset with his coworker because she was not appreciative that he was helping her and she apparently had an attitude with him. The conversation that ensued was not one to have in front of customers. Needless to say I had to wait even longer for my prescriptions. While I was waiting I observed one of the pharmacy technicians use her bare, ungloved hands to scoop pills into a bottle! CVS is much more expensive than other pharmacies and it’s a real pain that I didn’t have another option through my employer-provided healthcare.

Pharmacy staff especially pharmacist extremely rude, unhelpful and lazy.unwilling to help in any way to get prescription filled.kept telling me to call the insurance company.but the insurance company said the pharmacy was the one that had to call for needed information.in the end refused to help and had to leave without much needed medication for elderly parent.wouldn't even transfer to another pharmacy.female pharmacist.absolutely needs a lesson in being a human being

CVS in Mohegan is great. Polite, patient people in the pharmacy in Mohegan Lake, BUT, so many people I know refuse to get their scripts at any CVS. Unless it is BOGO, their prices are the highest of all pharmacies.

Always need to wait hours for the medicine, it's never ready, horrible customer service specially Ms Tina, she's so rude with people by phone and in person.

Expect to wait hoooouuuurrrs for a prescription to be filled. Let's not pretend that they are doing anything more than pouring pills from a big bottle to a little bottle, and for that I need to pack a lunch. The location and parking are terrible too, there is so much traffic in Mohegan Lake and the parking spaces are made for matchbox cars which only adds to the frustration of dealing with this place. The icing on this sour cake is that most products are 3x as expensive as other stores, their brand of mouthwash was $7.00 which is outrageous for a name brand let alone a store brand. I avoid all CVS stores like the plague, but this one is among the worst.

Terrible customer service felt like I was stealing. Went to pay and use my debit card and the cashier kept telling it wasn't good. I just left and went to another cvs

The cashier was very rude and could not be less interested in even attempting to be nice. She was blonde. Attitude the whole time did not scan all my items I had to tell her to scan them. She also mistook me as a man, which I find very offensive as there was no such indicators to question if I am a female. If you are unware of a person gender or how they Identify then you should not say Sir, Miss or Ma'am. However, when making assumptions be more cognizant as typically it is quite obvious - apologies if my breast were not a good enough indication of being a female. Overall just poor customer service and lack of standard etiquette.
