Terrible customer service, some staff have no patience whatsoever. Since most of the products are locked away now and you have to ask a staff member to unlock it for you. Whenever you need something unlocked some will come with the biggest attitude, dirty look and talking under their breath. Seriously if you have no patience please don’t work at a place that requires a lot of customer service. It’s not the customers fault all these products have to be locked and you the staffer has to come over and unlock it.

Please be gentle with the staff. They are chronically understaffed and boba-deficient. Give them boba. They will give better customer service in return.

Boba Fridays is a thing. Expect better customer service on Fridays. But if they go for smoothies, it might be a no no. Be careful.

The pharmacist (who looks like an Asian/ Indian male) is proud and high-minded. Perhaps he thinks he is doing THE JOB in the entire United States! He needs to learn the basic principles of customer service. Learn to smile with your customers, who pay your salary. People will not ask for money just because you smile! Moving on to the others, those who serve the customers are friendly and would do what it takes to give the prescribed meds without delay. When it comes to the other departments of this CVS, you will not easily find an assistant to help when needed most. Perhaps short of staff! So, step in knowing what to experience.

I picked up my medicine here and the staff were very nice and polite over the phone and in person and my concerns about my medication were answered. Thank you.

This is to let the management of CVS Victory Boulevard in Staten Island to know about my amazing experience with some of their staffs today, Patty, Myra, and Willie helped me a lot in trying to finish my photo books. All three staffs helped me in every way possible trying to facilitate my photo books to be done after the photo printing machine broke down. Their willingness to help was a first time experience for me to be treated like any customer should be. Please forward this comment to the three awesome staffs at your branch. Sincerely, Marlene Q.

Terrible customer service, tried to return an unopened item I bought from here, had price tag that clearly said CVS and the store number, and they flat out refused because I couldn't find the receipt, even though the return policy states "items presented for return without the original receipt may be exchanged for store credit. " Never going back.

WARNING. Be EXTRA cautious when purchasing items here, and DO NOT buy beauty products here (SO overpriced) because the price on the shelf is sometimes NOT the same as the price that is rung up. BUT I just want to give a shout out to the sweet young lady in the pharmacy counter. I don’t know if she’s a pharmacy tech but she had dark hair. The self checkout was giving me issues. The other sales person didn’t help me honor the price tag on one of my products (it was 2/8 but the checkout charged me 5$ for each item - I even went back AFTER I was charged to double check the tag on the counter and sure enough, it was 2/8). However one of the item’s I tried to ring up had a bar code that was far too small so I decided to go in the back to the pharmacy to check out instead (there was nobody behind the register up front). When the last item rung up as 5$, I let her know that the yellow tag showed a different price. She immediately said, “can you show me where it is? ” And she went away from the counter and followed me to where the item was located (it was only a few steps away). She agreed it was odd and said “ they probably haven’t changed it yet, but I’ll give you the tagged price! ” She was a sweetheart for helping me but it SUCKS that the price tag is not the same as the price that is rung up. DOUBLE CHECK the code is the same. Take a picture. I will never go back here for beauty items but the silver lining was the sweet pharmacy person who helped me. Thank you!

It's as good as any other CVS but I don't like that I am required to self-checkout at this location, so I removed one star.

I used to work here and to be honest I would not recommend this job even if you were broke.
They're short staffed for a majority of the time, I honestly don't know why customers can't be more patient especially at self-check out because of how stressful it can be, The co-workers and managers aren't that good with communication and scheduling so it was difficult since I have Type 2 Diabetes and Anxiety so my self care comes first but accommodations are a least likely. I think prioritizing staff and working with them is important and as for customers well they should take into consideration how stressful it can be and learn to have some patience.

The pharmacists lied and stated that there was no pending prescription nor was anything called in for me. They never acknowledged their mistake and I was forced to go without medication for 24 hours after having 6 teeth extracted.

I frequent this CVs on a regular basis and I usually get good service. Today I met Myra for the first time and she was extremely helpful from start to finish. Every CVs on Staten Island needs a Myra

Employees did not wear masks properly, yet were quick to tell customers to wear masks regardless of vaccine status. The store supervisor an older blonde woman was quick to snap at customers to wear a mask, but did not wear her mask properly and left her nose uncovered. Also employees in the pharmacy did not wear their masks properly leaving their noses uncovered as well. This sort of hypocrisy in enforcing a pointless mandate will cause customers to look for a pharmacy with more integrity.
EDIT: One day after leaving this review, I returned to pick up medication for my wife and noticed that customers were permitted to enter the store without a mask and without interference from store employees. Store security and supervisor were not in sight, perhaps due to it being a weekend. Store employees were still not wearing their masks properly.

I am from out of town. Today I realized we forgot to pack my diabetic dogs u40 needles for his insulin. I got a hold of his vet and they emailed me a copy of his prescription. The night time pharmacist refused to take it. My vet even called the pharmacist and tried to get them to help me out. She flat out refused. I am very disappointed with services at this location and I would not even recommend them. Even the pharmacist told me to go to Walgreens since they can take emailed prescriptions.

This pharmacy is consistently terrible and run by incompetents. They randomly hold your medication without explanation. You get a notification it’s ready you go to pick it up, they tell you it doesn’t even exist. I can’t believe these people have jobs.

They sent me home w a empty box for a Glucose reader. Instructions were inside but no reader. When I called them about the empty box they responded like I was lying. Good customer service is not their thing

This place used to be 1 of the better S. I.pharmacies. The past few years it's become a kindergarten school. No one out of the 10 people behind the pharmacy ever knows what they're doing. The pharmacists -if they are- have that DEER in headlights look when you have a question. The floor staff helps more. Never have your scrips ready even when they text you all day to p/u. And when you say you are a 9/11 survivor for meds they look with disdain. Many millenials.
