CVS, Scarsdale NY

Employee on Christmas 12-23-2023 at 11: 57am was so extremely rude that she threw my change-cash at me at the register. The manager should see camera.

I feel bad for writing this because Brian, the pharmacy manager, is obviously struggling with bad depression or something and needs a lot of help. But, at this point, it's just become a dire situation at this pharmacy. I was in there tonight and witnessed him lash out at an elderly man, almost throw a basket, and put his hands over his eyes and almost begin to cry (not to mention his eye rolls and just basic lack of social skills). There are so many negative reviews about him on Google and it just seems like at this point, someone needs to step in, sit him down, and give him a hug or get him help from a psychiatrist. The first time he yelled at me on the phone, I thought he just lacked training on how to talk to people. But after witnessing him abuse people of all ages and genders, it's clear that he's just miserable at his job because of what I assume is CVS' corporate model that treats their employees like hell, overworks them, underpays them etc. It doesn't excuse his yelling at people and making us all scared to go to CVS, but it does make me feel sorry for him. Brian is clearly not in a position to manage anything, especially in a medical setting with sick and vulnerable people who need to be treated with compassion.

How pharmacist you can be so rude with an 92 YEARS OLD elder person who is polite and nice with you? You do not like your job, something is wrong in your life we are not responsable of it. This is not acceptable.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are ridiculously slow with issuing medication and the place is a mess.

I used to love going to CVS. You always knew what you needed from the store, but you’d always somehow manage to leave with more. Lately, the CVS experience has changed. It’s very sterile and flat without many checkout employees. The way CVS has cut staff makes me feel like they don’t care about their employees. Since I was a kid in this area, there was a local woman who I knew I’d always see at CVS. She was so sweet and cheery. She’s no longer employed there. There’s no sense of “neighborhood” left to these stores.

I came in to buy candy and the CVS Associate was kind enough to help me with the computerized machine (I didn't understand) for check-out. Wish I had gotten her name, but much obliged for her helpful service... Thank you!

Used to be friendly and helpful in the pharmacy. Now…Brian the pharmacist. He is SO RUDE, just a jerk, should not be allowed to speak to customers! FIRE HIM ALREADY! I’m leaving cvs because of this, so many other choices out there. You should run too!

I took passport photo at this cvs on Sunday afternoon and the lady working at the photo section was so impatient. She did not give any instruction and kept looking at me angrily instead of shooting the photo. The photo she eventually gave me is not usable either - had to retake at another place and pay extra.
Btw, I am Asian, if that is why I was treated this way.

This pharmacy staff is straight up breaking the law. They refuse to give out the full name of the pharmacist dispensing medication. Pharmacist "Anthony Pia-. " is super rude and unhelpful so is the staff that answers the phone! Don't know the pharmacist's full name because he refused to give his name and tore off half of his name off of the form that I received.
The staff that answers the phone is insanely rude and refuses to help out patients that he dispenses medication to (which is illegal as they are medical providers and I have the right to contact them about my medication that was dispensed by that pharmacy). Whoever answered the phone of the pharmacy on 7/27/23 at 9: 30 or so am) should be fired and replaced

Like most cvs these days, seems understaffed with too much asked of staff. The self check out is plagued with issues, seemingly more labor insensitive by staff fixing issues than just using the register most days. Getting age restricted items or anything kept behind the counter is a hassle. Every trip is another experience in misery. But they keep solid hours.

Tee is an exemplary employee. Kind and welcoming, smart and knowledgeable. Wish all your employees were of her caliber. A+. She’s the reason I shop at your location specifically.

The pharmacists are really rude. No communication. Send your prescriptions to Wilmont pharmacy. The staff here are on a mission to put CVS out of business.

I would give the pharmacy 0 star if I could. Never in my life had I written a bad review on any business or individual except this CVS store. The staff are so rude they treat customers like trash. They never pick up the phone. My doctor prescribed medicine for my son twice to this CVS, I had no call or notification whether the medicine was ready. I called multiple times to check but never ever got answered. I went to the store with my phone in my hand, showing them that I was still on hold. The staff made fun of me by saying "then why didn't you come yesterday". Excellent job. Always blame the customers and make me look like a terrible mother. I know they don't care about me as a customer. But do they not have kids, parents, friends who could be in urgent need of medicine? Do not ask your doctor send prescriptions there.

You cannot speak with a human at the pharmacy without being on hold for an hour. Absolutely terrible.

This CVS has an excellent selection of greeting cards. I occasionally got other items there too over the last decades and did not have bad experiences. The pharmacy I use is however at another branch.

Staff your pharmacy better. Absolutely unfair to your staff and disgraceful to people who need medication in a timely manner.

The older lady in the pharmacy is very rude and have no patience to listen to you what have to say, will keep interrupting you and push you to speak to the pharmacist, acting like serving customers is wasting her time. The price in the store is always higher than what the online prices is… what a worst neighborhood CVS

I use the CVS app to find items that I will pick up in the store. I check the price and I check availability. I went to the CVS in Scarsdale yesterday to buy a case of Coke which the app showed was $9.49 for one case. The item showed up as $10.29. The person who tried to intervene was not very customer friendly. I felt I was being reprimanded like a child, which I am not. Eventually, he credited me for $0.80 and told me that the prices on the app do not reflect the prices in the store. He also was very clear to tell me that he will not ever credit me again for an issue like this! Well, this incident will just prevent me from browsing the store to pick up items I necessarily wouldn't need and just look for items I need online and use your pickup in store option.
