CVS, Rocky Point NY

Rocky Point NY CVS has rude pharmacists and cashiers. They didn’t want to run my payment card as I requested, as I’ve done several times before for a discount, because the cashier said it didn’t make sense to her. So she ignored my request, Rung everything up together and then called over the manager and argued with me. I only took one prescription because they said there was a line. The arrogance of these employees is astonishing. I gave plain instructions on how the card worked and has worked in the past. The cashier didn’t want to be bothered and thought I didn’t know what I was talking about. I could have been on my way in no time if the employees were reasonable and the least bit helpful.

My sons been waiting for his amoxicillin since Saturday. The order says processing. I call them and I get it’s on back ordered. They don’t have it in stock and not a single cvs does. Okay cool. So no one was going to call send a message anything. So I could call his doctor and have it done by another pharmacy. This is the second time this has happened. The first time was for vitamins and they magically got it in when I happened to call 3 months later!

Excellent store in Rocky Point… Employees are very helpful & knowledgeable…store is clean & well stocked… Thank you!

I would need four chapters to completely articulate how awful this place is. It should be condemned.

Changing my negative review from 2020, they really seem to have turned things around, probably new management, and lines are a lot shorter/quicker. They also have good variety in the regular store.

This store lied to me every day for almost 2 weeks about mailing me my blood pressure medication.
I had to switch to a new pharmacy.
That’s medication I take to stay alive

This is THE BEST and most improved CVS in all of Long Island that I’ve visited. The new management has done a incredible job. Store is clean, staff is helpful. Pharmacy has greatly improved!

If you need medicine don’t look for it here you may die waiting in line before someone in the pharmacy decides to help you

Don't bother calling or using the pharmacy for that matter. I had my son's epi pen prescription sent over and they gave me such a run around. First they said someone was working on it, come back, then it was ready for pick up. In reality they never had it and it was back ordered. They never said a word until I was there for the 2nd time.

I figured I'd give them one more chance since I'm sick and wanted something close. I'm still contagious and didn't want to spend extra time giving them my insurance card so I figured I'd call. I waited over an hour on hold before hanging up. I'm having my prescription moved to a different pharmacy. Save yourself the headache and don't use them.

I am on my cell and home phone on hold waiting for someone to pick up in the pharmacy for 45 min and still waiting! Patient is wheelchair bound and not able to get through. There has to be a better way.

Recently moved here and went to pick up my prescription. Guy working pick up was cool but his pc froze and directed me to drop off line as he yells for someone to come help. Just a buncha women chatting running around doing nun lol I have emailed my doc to not have me pick my meds up there again
