There’s been a huge improvement in the service since the new manager, Al, took over. Excellent experience and great selection of items as expected from Cycle Gear.

Customer Svc was very good. The sales rep spent his time to make sure that I got a helmet that fit me right. Although he said he was relatively new at selling helmets, he was knowledgeable and thorough.

Eli couldn't of been more helpful. There were a handful of us in the store and he managed to help all of us at the same time and made sure none of us left without trying on our purchases to make sure they fit, which was a good thing because 2 of us were ready to leave with products one size to big. This is all around closing time too, when most workers would be rushing customers out the door, he was making sure nobody left without a product they were happy with.

I’m a new rider and came in for a jacket & gloves, Eli helped me out and gave me a jacket that’s protective and looks great, and a solid pair of gloves. Great customer service and cool selection of products

Went into the store for the first time today after years of riding I have never been here. First impression was great very clean, organized and well stocked store. Eli was the gentleman that came over and asked if I had any questions about anything. Eli was very knowledgeable in riding gear and how it should properly fit. He noticed the jacket I was looking into getting seemed a little too big and recommended me try a smaller size, which felt and fit much better. Even showed me several different options and explained the pros and cons of each piece of gear I was looking into. I had a great first trip to this store and I am definitely going to be visiting again.
Thankyou Eli and everyone at Cycle Gear

Met with Eli at Cycle Gear from the moment I walked in he was caring, attentive, and very knowledgable. He helped me pick out the perfect helmet, helped with fitting, and explained all the features. He truly made my experience memorable. Thank you for all the help. Definitely a great place to shop!

Be careful. I recently bought two K&N KN-303 oil filters from the Fayetteville Cycle Gear. One had a box that was a little crumpled but I didn't think much about it. It was the last two K-N 303s they had. When I opened the crumpled box at home, I noticed the heat shrink cellophane cover that protects the inside of the filter was on, but it was loose, like it had been removed and reinstalled. When I removed the cover I found a filter with quite a bit of course sand (or small gravel) on the inside and adhered to the O-ring gasket. I also noted the same grit stuck to the tape that held the box lid closed. I opened the second filter I had bought and it appeared clean, but I was too scared to use it.

So, the moral of the story is be very careful. If you buy an oil filter at Cycle Gear Fayetteville (not recommended) make sure it hasn't been opened. If the cellophane shrink wrap cover has been disturbed or removed, do not accept the filter. Opened or not, carefully examine the filter to ensure it hasn't been contaminated. It just takes a little tiny gravel to trash your engine and apparently Cycle Gear doesn't want to investigate (how it might have happened) or take it seriously.

Brian was very helpful with explaining the quality of the products and helping me get what I really needed. He and the staff was very attentive regardless of having to deal with a disrespectful customer. Brian dealt with the situation very professionally and adequately. Thank you folks!

YMMV depending on who you find to help you in store. Brian was amazing. He took a lot of time to walk me through styles and types of gear. Fitted me for a helmet and explained all different types of protection and gear to me being a complete first time rider.

I took my wheels to get tires mounted, the rear was mounted wrong so I took it back next day. Waited for about 3 hours at the tarry town ny location for them to fix it. Came back home put my tire on, rode the bike for the first time a week later and my rear wheel has a shake now, put the bike on my stand to check what was wrong thinking it could be the chain but my rear wheel is bent. They had to force the new wrongly placed tire out the rim and now they dont want to take any responsibility. I hate to be “that guy” but I really take well care of my motorcycle and this is not fair…

Good quality stuff here and good customer service. Eli helped me out with installing a bluetooth device into my helmet and was happy to help. Definitely recommend this place for anything you need for your bike.

As soon as we drove up there were people just loitering in the front of the store. Once we walked in it gave a non-friendly vibe. We spent about an hour inside looking for my husbands gloves and gloves for someone else. When we went up to pay and the guy working the register asked “are you buying all of those? ” (4pairs). My husband politely replied “yes. 2 are for me and 2 are for someone else”. Then my husband asked if they give the first responders discount and showed his NYPD ID.the guy at the register said the system didn’t let him use that discount. My husband also asked if they had a pin lock insert and the guy said “we don’t have a lot” and didn’t bother offering further help. We left the store and bought nothing. We definitely RECOMMEND the Long Island location instead. They actually said to my husband “we take care of our guys”. Never coming back here again.
