3 I witnessed a young child get jumped by a group of kids. Smell ok weed fills the air
Stay away if you can
I gave this 5 stars because this is my neighborhood and its near my childs school. So there's entimental value attached to this post. It could use a nice old fashioned tire swing if I had to Everytime I've been here with my 12 year old daughter after-school Magnet middle school James Sinnott students and high school students from school of the classics play her. All good kids, since these are both very good schools with smarter than average teens.
I never experienced any violent teens here, just good clean horseplay. It can get a bit rowdy in the summer months but it's all fun. It is near the projects which leads people to falsely believe it is a bad area. On the contrary I feel safe in this area, not a noisy part of East New York since its not on a main street.
There's a track and field next to this park. Great for jogs and runs I skate here at times and the kids laugh because I look ridiculous in my carebears skates but I love em' I gain composure quickly.
Beautiful park fairly safe bathroom clean with toilet paper and hand wash baseball field soccer and track and football field
