Broth and sauce station were somewhat lacking compared to other hot pot places that I have been to.

Pricing was fair for NY but certainly not cheap. The quality of the meat is decent for the price but I certainly have had better meat. They did offer premium meat which I did not order as it seemed severely overpriced. Expect to spend at least $100 for a decent hot pot meal for two.

Would not necessarily repeat as I am sure there are better hot pot places in Chinatown, but I came here on a Monday night and it is one of the better reviewed hot pot places that were open

Very mediocre hot pot. The broth is bland (we got the pork bone and signature spicy beef broth), and the meat quality is average.

Al carte menu. You order everything through the QR code. I got the 3 combination soup base (pork bone, tomato and spicy.) I really just wanted the tomato and the pork bone but that wasn't an option. The pork bone soup base was a little salty. The tomato one was very flavorful, the spicy one was too spicy for my taste. Everything was very fresh and the staff was super helpful and friendly. There is not enough sauces in the sauce bar. They only had peanut butter sauce, cilantro, scallions, soy sauce and hot oil. I was hoping for a more variety of sauces. It's a bit pricey for Al Carte menu I only ordered a few variety of items and it came out to about $45/$50 pp.

Best hot pot in Manhattan. Especially the tribe and beef.
Chengdu people have certified the best hotpot on the Isle of Man!

The place is below average and I am surprised that it had so many good reviews. The food is mediocre and the serving size is very small. There was no service whatsoever so ever. The Chinese server dropped the plates and ran. Asked for a coke and they totally forgot. No apologies or nothing. I was about to grab the can from the fridge myself. It’s disappointing how the Chinese restaurant has gone so bad in this part of China town

I am a super lover of hot pot, the kind of person who loves to eat it almost once a week. This time dinner at Da Long Yi can be said to be very disappointing. Due to many online recommendations, I had high expectations before. After waiting for an hour, full of enthusiasm, the result can be said that I have never tasted such an unpleasant hotpot. I ordered tomato and mushroom soup base. Mushroom soup tastes as if it's from the bottom of the pot that has cooked too long. It is too thick to be true. Tomato soup is a bit better, probably with much water added, so have a light taste. The more I eat them, the more salty they become. I have to drink up a full pot of water. It is quiet pricy. I didn't order combo, in the end, I spent a lot but still feel not full enough. Anyway, I don't think it's worth it. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Was my second time here and thoroughly enjoyed it! Good meats, sufficient variety and flavourful broth that’s actually spicy! Love the fried dough balls w condensed milk!

The traditional spicy hot pot was quite spicy and flavorful and I loved every bit of it! My friend and I split our soup bases and got the menu item for 2 people, which came with enough vegetarian options for her to enjoy with her mushroom soup base. The dipping sauces and the bean porridge were quite nice additions to the meal. Service was polite and prompt, and the restaurant was decked out for Halloween in an enjoyable way (including a server dressed as an evil clown). The restaurant is up a flight of stairs on the 2nd floor so there may be issues with accessibility, but the central location makes it a great dinner place with plenty of cafes and dessert options nearby. I'll definitely stop by here again the next time I'm in Chinatown!

I ordered mala soup spicy level2 (medium) and it’s super spicy (like Asian spicy) and super good. Beef tongue was super soft properly better than what I had before. Actually should more than 4.5.

Have been here so many times, the food and service never disappoints. Fresh ingredients and very flavourful soup base. Service has always been top notch.

Food 8/10
Definitely more expensive than the hotpot locations in Flushing, but it is a lot closer because it is located in Manhattan. The meats are fresh, but the selection is more limited. Good soup though, you can’t go wrong with coming here, it’ll just be a greater hit to the wallet than if you made the trek to Flushing. Been here a few times and it’s always been a fun time.

Atmosphere 8/10
Cool interior, classic hotpot vibes. The sauce stand has plenty of choices and some fruit too.

Service 8/10
Appreciate the aprons. I need it whenever I eat hotpot. Fast and speedy, and you can find the menu on your phone but you still have to order with a waiter/waitress, unlike many of the hotpot spots in Flushing, where you order from an iPad.

We love hot pot. It's healthy and easy. In the past, we've done this at her place but times have changed. Since that's not an option, we decided to give this place a try.
Extremely dislike the menu being a qr code. I appreciate the "green" paperless menu effort but I'm quite certain that saving paper wasn't their motivation intent.
It's smaller than anticipated which is irrelevant for the most part. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff is on the friendly and helpful side.
Down to the food: a good variety of options.seemingly. I didn't bother to scroll much. Didn't have to as bestie did most of the scrolling on her phone.
My only request was beef!
For soup base, most of the options were of spicy varieties and since we aren't much into spicy food, we were limited in options. We settled for the pig feet soup base. It was good.
The sauce station: rather small but as it had what I wanted, it was sufficient with me. I've learned long ago, to keep it simple. My first time going pot hot outside, I had a field day with the sauce station, testing whatever caught my fancy. Humongo mistake. My system paid for that experimentation real quick. Now I keep it to sacha (bbq) sauce, garlic, scallions and cilantro. And an egg where possible.
We ordered the mixed veggies tray, 1 fish, 2 beef, 2 plates of fried tofu skins, 1 potato, 1 lamb, 1 tofu, 1 wintermelon.
Our bill came out to $150. Shocked both of us because we were being conservative, trying to not over order as we are (ahem she is) prone to do. Just about everything was eaten. The only thing we just couldn't eat was the thinly sliced potatoes. We did not know what to do with that. It was so thinly sliced, it went to soggy mush so quick.
