Dallas BBQ Chelsea reviews
18Service was horrible, waitress kept leaving us and took years to return. They seat you by the window so the restaurant looks livelier and passersby look at you and your food while dining. The C/E train station is right there! One random girl even took a picture of us and our food without our permission, from outside. Not my idea of a quality dining experience at all. An absolute joke, imo. I will not return at all. Food is still decent, but this location has changed for the worst.
Very comfortable place. It would be grand if they could make medium rare order insted bringing well done stake.industrial cooking. Dont eat stake here. Everything else seem better.
If you are not very hungry, you will feel a little guilty when you come in, especially when there is a lot left of what you ordered. Whether it is a difference in taste or portion size, it will be reflected in the rest of the meal. Single, displayed.
I enjoyed my dinner outing with my family. The host/server was patient and professional and continued to check on us to see if we were satisfied. Food arrived in a timely manner and was fresh and order was correct. Drinks always on point. Better than BBQ's Washington Heights.
They got super rude waitress
Her name is sandy
She is short thin hispanic
The service is super nasty at this place
Phenomenal. Authentically American. Very good and fast attention. Very reasonable price. Sincerely recommended. One hundred by one hundred.
I asked for takeout ribs with sauce on the side because I suffer from GERD. Was told that it's no problem. I took the bag and got home and the ribs were drowning in bbq sauce. I started out treating my family but I was the only one that could not eat after spending my money. SMH
Horrible, they couldn’t even get a simple order like Mac and cheese right, the house salad was disgusting and I had to cut up all the vegetables in it, my Mac and cheese was supposed to come out with bacon and crumbled cornbread on it but it only had the crumbled cornbread, I took a couple of bites before sending it back (it would been good if I had the bacon on it) the waitress came back with a new Mac and cheese dish except this time it wasn’t hot, it was very soupy and was dripping out on the side of the bowl, I took one bite and it was nasty. Blue raspberry margarita I had was really good and I got to take it to-go. They gave us some chocolate covered donuts free of charge (it was ok but even that lack flavor) The bathroom was very tiny and it could of been a little cleaner. I will never go back unless I’m getting a drink
Fast and efficient staff. Typical American restaurant/fast food environment, very consistent. Perhaps the temperature is a little low, typical of New York (bring a sweatshirt).
Excellent sandwiches, also the quality of the meat and ingredients, at a price that is really excellent for the city ($17 for a sandwich with a side dish).
Eva was our server and by far the best part of this meal. The atmosphere is great and the clients clearly enjoy the vittles. We had the full rack of ribs with the sauce on the side. Compared to ribs in TX these were puny and tasteless. The pina colada was fine and icy. Corn bread was excellent. Baked potato cooked perfectly. Nice place to go for meaty food and reasonable prices.
Everything was great. Would definitely go back there. Close to the train and walking distance to the Highline.
It was a 15 minute wait, not to bad. Service was really great. My server was on it. The drinks was bomb (passion royale is a must try), henny ribs was bomb. Everything was on point. I don't have no pics cause I was hungry.
My server was flirting with my man. The waiter rubbed his hand when she handed him something. I remained calm. It could have went so left. The food was great! We still tipped her. Smdh
Customer service is the worst. I ordered 6 lunches and on 2 combos I did not get the shrimp, and when trying to get some answers i was transferred more than 4 times until i got a female who kept asking the same questions, making me feel as though i had done something wrong.so disappointed
The best strawberry margaritas and tequilla in Manhatten. Great food cooked fresh and arrived promptly. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
The Food: it's Dallas BBQ, it's not the greatest but it's good. I had the Hennessey wings, and it's really just the sauce. The flavor isn't IN the wings. I don't expect it to be seasoned like grandma cooked it, but it was good.
The service: I'm bad with remembering names. A tall, Latina was our waitress and she was amazing. Attentive and catering.and that's what you want from a waitress/waiter. I asked for 1 or 2 things and she did not forget about me and was prompt and precise.
The atmosphere: It's New York, one of the greatest and worst cities ever. Lol convenient part of the city, lots of shopping, and close to a train station. (that's the bad part). I don't want to give details. But.let's just say it's New York City. The City itself is a circus.
Overall really good experience
The BBQ sauce is pretty good. That said, the dishes are too greasy for me and the chicken too dry for my taste.
