First time here for our son and had a great experience. Ethan really took his time and explained everything and had a great chill energy that helped keep everyone calm and still (which is hard for the young one!). Everyone was super nice and had great fun attitudes. Glad we made the trip!

I’ve been seeing Nicole since I was 19. I just moved to Florida but I will still fly to NY just to have my hair done by her. This salon is always very clean staff is always super nice and the atmosphere always fantastic! Also Nicole is the absolute BEST and SWEETEST! I have never ever left her chair feeling anything but expectations exceeded!

Chris and Axel are both excellent barbers and do a great job. Always listen carefully and pay close attention to detail!

Got my hair cut by Eric. Great experience it's been tough finding a good barber that knows how to trim and shape a full beard. Will definitely be getting my haircut there/him from now on

Went to Dandedeville to find a new haircut spot in ROC for special occasions when I want to look my best. My fiance booked online for me and when I arrived, there was plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly and vibe was chill. Big kudos to Axel for asking me about my preferences on certain aspects of the cut, which for me was a head shave, and beard trim/edge. I was a bit disappointed with the cold shave gel and lack of a hot towel, but I left with a great cut!

Chris is a fantastic barber! He is extremely talented, professional, and passionate about what he does, and that is clearly reflected in the high quality of his work. Chris is very personable and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. For my two haircuts I have had so far, he has done a great job communicating with me and has been meticulous in the quality of his work to make sure I walked away loving my cut. Highly recommend Chris! The whole shop is fantastic, clean, great atmosphere, and easy location and parking.

Definitely the best haircut I have ever gotten. Nicole paid a lot of attention to detail and was very gentle and thorough. She was a little impatient at times but maybe that’s because I wasn’t clear on what I wanted so I can let that slide. Overall amazing job and would definitely come back.

Axel was amazing, and gave myself and both boys one of the best haircuts and lined everything up perfect.

In Rochester for a wedding and needed to get straightened up for the event. Stumbled on this joint just browsing through Google results relatively close to the hotel. The pictures suggested it was right in line with my shop back in DC. Called ahead just to be sure I could get a seat and the owner said he'd be cutting my hair, which was cool! Decor was very my speed with lots of nostalgia and Bettie Page! When Nick sat me down, the first thing he did was offer me a Genny! Now I have a special relationship with Genesee with an origin story that is too long to include here. Suffice to say I was into it. Ultimately, great cut great conversation, awesome atmosphere, and certainly affordable by this DC dudes standards. The same hair and beard service back home would have been at least 90 bucks! Probably more! Dude also has his own fashion side hustle! Left with a great cut and a new custom hat! Great experience!

We adore Ethan! My son wasn’t a huge fan of haircuts but he loves coming here. Ethan makes my son feel cool and look great. Ethan is super kind, easy to talk to and gives a great cut. We always feel welcome in the shop.

Sweet, chill shop. Nicole is the best! She is a true artist. It let her do whatever she wants with my hair and it always comes out amazing.
