Dante West Village, New York NY

The martinis are absolutely amazing! The Martini Hour is a great deal but it is challenging to get a spot, especially later in the week.

I had an incredible experience at Dante this week. My server Rosie was an absolute delight and I appreciated her attentiveness throughout the meal. She recommended the Gingerbread Negroni and it was incredible! I'll be back.

We went Saturday afternoon with no reservation and they had a table open outside. The outside table was nice because it was under a heater so we could even take out coats off. I got the espresso martini which was good but not my all time favorite. I got the Dante Signature Flatbread which was super interesting. It was not a traditional style flatbread but a small loaf of bread covered with cheese and thinly sliced ham. It came with homemade butter which was really good. My husband got the burger which was really good and had a little kick to it, which he liked and came with homemade hot sauce.

This was such a delightful experience. As an avid martini drinker and cocktailer I was in my element with the martini and specialty cocktail list and it was an extensive one at that.

We went for brunch which meant we had a long day ahead of us, which meant we couldn’t try all the good things that we wanted to. Extensive day drinking and me don’t mix lol. But the food was really good but I just so appreciate the craftsmanship of their cocktails. Definitely a must try and highly recommend you experiment and have fun.

Best for brunch of drinks. West Village location > Greenwich village location. Everything on the brunch menu is delicious but the split pea pesto is so underrated. Incredibly attentive staff and adorable decor inside and out

Rosemary (Ashley?) our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the evening gathering (hope her efforts are recognized), food is tasty, outstanding and our party of 6 was able to share several dishes (shishitto peppers, cauliflower, radicchio, mussels, THE bread and butter, salads, steak, sweet potatoe and potatoes w/ alioli took us all through a culinary journey!). Environment is pretty chic with good music. Suggest making reservations ahead or sending an email to get the date/party size of your convenience. Thank you for making my celebration special (oh! And flourless chocolate cake a must with good cocktails!)

Love it just as much as the other location. One of my fave brunch spots since the food is good, the cocktails are superb, and the atmosphere is lively.

The winter/holiday cocktail menu is on point. Our fave brunch items were the fall Harvest bowl and the eggs and mashed peas. Can’t go wrong with anything on the Negroni sessions menu.

Outstanding cocktails — we loved every one we tried. The food was great, too — fresh oysters, trout salad, chicken alla diavolo, sweet potatoes, tiramisu. No complaints!

This place certainly live up to the hype! Food was great and the service was impeccable! My shakshuka was excellent!

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special place and I must say It couldn’t have been better, servers, hostess, everybody was very warm and friendly, the food simply AMAZING, it was such a great experience… to all of you: THANK YOU!

We hosted a company holiday dinner here and it was fantastic! The coordinators were helpful and flexible up until hours before the event. The food was great and the servers were very friendly and attentive! 10/10

Wandered in on a busy weekend afternoon and were lucky enough to get spots for 2 at the bar. Food was excellent, every single ingredient was thoughtfully included and added an extra layer of flavor to the dish. Drinks were also excellent, some classics and some twists, and all delicious.

Shout out to our server, Ram, who explained all the drinks to us and helped us decide on what to get. He had great breadth of knowledge on cocktail traditions and the different ways Dante does them all. And a great attitude even as happy hour rolled around and the pace of work picked up. A delight to interact with- Dante is lucky to have him on their team!

You may have to wait.but there’s a good reason why

Came here yesterday evening (Thursday night) and was sat at the bar. Kind of pretentious vibe. But anyhow, the best part of this place is their drinks and bartenders. Nick is an excellent mixologist. The food was hit or miss. The best dish is their mussels. And tiramisu. The oysters were no good. I noticed the hostess was VERY good at her job. She kept her composure and tried her best to help us, but I definitely noticed a bit of discrimination at the door, but business’ have a right to do as they please so… whatever. There was a man who seemed to be the manager who had a negative vibe, scolding an employee in the middle of the place thinking no one can hear him, and just overall very rough around the edges. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Way too much aggression emitted from him. The bus boys and runners were also really efficient, shout out to them. I would come here again solely for their bartenders and drinks.

I've only been for drinks, but they know how to make a cocktail. The garibaldi is famous for very good reason and their Brooklyn "riff" is world-class (uses Brooklyn's very own St Agrestis instead of Amer Picon). Excellent people-watching if you're able to get an outdoor seat

Stopped by for a couple of drinks before a dinner reservation elsewhere. Hostess was kind and able to squeeze us in at a table for a little bit. Other employees were also kind and drinks were very good.

A cozy and comfortable spot to meet with friends for a good Martini, Specialty Cocktail and Appetizers or Main course. See you again soon.
