Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and they’ve never upset. The characters they use are done super well and definitely scary. I went to gateway last weekend and this was definitely scarier, just slightly shorter.

Been going there for years now every halloween season and it never disappoints. Definitly one of the best haunts in long island.

Soo good, finally came back after like 6 years and glad to see this place still standing and doing what it’s doing, I’m glad there was food & hot chocolate to buy while in line, it takes like an hour to get inside.

Not worth the money. Me and a group of friends went last night on Halloween just to be berated by one of the actors about not having our phones out even though we didn’t have them out. The event is supposed to last 30 mins but was actually 15 minutes. The true horror of the night was spending $160.

Cathy holds checks from employees when they’re out sick. Also, looking at review responses from the dark side team, they seem super unprofessional and rude. 100% would not recommend supporting an owner such as her.

Really awful experience. I hope they don’t open up next year because it was a total scam for 35$ Each. Its only a 10 minute long experience and pretty lame and not scary as well. Do not go here.

This was my first time at a haunted house and it was lots of fun and screams! The make up was great and creepy, the staff stayed in character, scaring you an following you around but no touching. Went with a group of 20 and we all had an amazing time.

People were being too slow and spoiling the jump scare for me, needs some control over that, other wise a very good haunted house.

Great haunted house. Line wasn't a long wait and the house/actors were really good. They did a good job keeping groups spaced out so you werent running into other groups. It was very slightly shorter than I thought it'd be but the pros outweighed that.

Always love visiting Darkside, they really put so much effort into giving you a great experience and it is worth it every time. So scary!

Way scarier and more intense than I thought it would be! Recommend putting the more easily scared of the group in front! Wife terrified! Hilarious

Definitely recommend! Me and my friend were more then frieghtened a couple of times! Lasted about 25-30 minutes and definitely worth it. Please don’t hesitate if you’re thinking about it, because you’ll have the time of your life, jump scares are definitely there but not heart attack worth…… enjoy!

It was absolutely amazing. All the actors and staff were very nice and professional. I will make an effort to go every year because it was so much fun

I wanted to go to this haunted house w my friend bc it was ranked “#1” which idk who decides where it’s ranked bc this haunted house was definitely not scary enough to be #1. The outside portion isn’t scary at all, there are people in front of u the entire time and they get all the scares, and yes me and my friend did wait and separate Ourselves but more people just kept on coming. Once you reach the barn it gets better bc there’s an actor that tells u to wait bc of the elevator that is there. The barn was definitely the better portion, but it was not scary at all. The actors weren’t scary the jump scares were very predictable. So, I wouldn’t even call them jumpscares. And the animatronics weren’t scary. In total it’s abt 15-20 minutes long. I wouldn’t spend 40 dollars on this so called “haunted house. ” Save your money people. You’d be better off walking through a corn maze, it would probably be more scary. I’m very dissatisfied.

Wow, well done! Just got back from this haunted house tonight and money well spent! I can honestly say I was completely terrified the whole time.

I had 0 expectations coming in because I know haunted houses can be a hit or miss but this one I would tell friends and family about.

Went on Saturday night, a fairly busy night and waited on line about 40 minutes before entering which wasn't bad at all. Parking entering and leaving couldnt have been easier. This place really puts alot of effort and detail into each element of their house and it shows! Each group is separated before entering for a proper scare. Will definitely come back next year!

A can’t miss for fans of haunted houses on LI. Attention to detail is on point. Actors and actresses were awesome

By far the best haunted house I've ever been to. It gets better every year and this year was the BEST. Actors in every room, props are amazing, times are slotted so the wait wasn't very long. It's far out east but completely worth the drive, 1000/10!

It was scary but the place has mud all over the place you would think that a rich farm oriented town could afford some grass, completely ruined my shoes and my car has to be washed now especially the tires the attraction is haunted house material but it’s to short for the moneys worth will not go to the middle of no where to this attraction again unless they add some fertilizer and lower their prices

The actors do an amazing job! They scared me to the point where I just wanted to get out of there
