The broth is what most people come for, but the sit-down food and drink here is incredible. Worth a stop

The store has dashi (Japanese soup stock), pottery, and other Japanese handicrafts. I liked being able to make my own dashi and the sake carafe was decently priced. The set meals were kind of pricey imo, but it comes with a variety of Japanese sides in addition to the main fish

I came here 3 times and had different kind of fish, they are all very delicious! Especially the salmon is sooo good! They are all on the salty side but go with rice so well. Some of the fish has many bones, you might want to ask the staffs’ recommendations if you don’t like the bones. You should definitely come here if you like authentic Japanese food! Love this place!

We ordered the salmon and mackerel set. Salmon was super delicious!

Amazing store, they've a 5 different dashi styles available such as premium, tokyo, kyoto, vegetable, and etc. Although you can make your own as well because there are various dried fishes that you can ask them to mix together to make your own custom dashi blend.

They also carry various other products like rice and fish.

A space with beautiful objects and food from Japan —
My favorite part is the dashi station to the left of the store where you can either purchase pre made packets or make your own with ingredients sourced from Japan.

I bought the premium dashi to try at home (they have samples you can taste) and hope to try their food next time!

Perfect for winter!
Tried sample and there’s no reason to get one. I got a standard first and will try customized next.
Easy to use and you’ll be an amazing chef

Ive only bought the pre-packaged standard dashi bags, but they are soooo good. Plus, my cat loves eating the insides after

Beautiful space with Japanese ceramics, restaurant, and pantry goods. There was a bar where you can make your own dashi broth, as well as pre made ones. We tried a sample of the premium dashi and it was super flavorful. I’ll be drinking plenty of these as summer comes to an end, and make noodles and donabe with them.

I came across this store while walking in the neighborhood. Coolest surprise ever! The store is immaculate and well decorated. Best of all, it tickles the epicurean in you. If you've never learned about dashi or tried it, this is the perfect place to do so. The store brings over the craftsmanship Japan is famous for - stop by to try samples of unique dashi. It blew my mind - I went back and bought a bag! Will be coming back for more visits (it looked like they have a restaurant in there).

A divine place with an aesthetically pleasing vibe. Dashi stocks and other Japanese condiments are well-curated. Would love to try the food stall next time.
