Data Revelations reviews
16I can’t recommend Data Revelations and Steve Wexler highly enough. He is an amazing authority on data visualization, and learning from him has been a cornerstone of my own more modest accomplishments in visualizing survey data. I have attended his workshops on building data visualization dashboards, and have also extensively used his book Big Book of Dashboards as a reference and guide. Organizations couldn’t find a better resource for data visualization expertise, guidance and training. He is an outstanding professional and instructor, and generous to the entire data visualization community.
If you ever have a chance to talk about Business Intelligence best practices with Steve Wexler – just make your best to take that chance! And if you can attend his training – lucky you, just do it!
Steve is indeed the master of Data-Driven storytelling. Not only will he spot right away how your digital dashboard could be immediately improved, but will also inspire you enormously with his love for effective dashboard design and data visualization.
An efficient communication by means of visuals is indeed the Art. With techniques standing behind it rooted in cognitive science, it should be studied widely by data professionals.
I'm excited to see the workshops schedule published for Q1of 2020!
As a child, I used to look-up to celebrities (actors, singers…). Now, as an analyst, I have a new celebrity to look-up to: Steve Wexler. I advanced my career (and got more $) because I updated my skills in survey data analysis. And I learned all from Steve’s blog.
Steve is a great presenter, on the topic data visualization. I especially liked his dashboard design. I see many applications in my daily work, focusing on data driven story telling.
I attended Steve Wexler's on-line survey data visualization class, and it was excellent. Great instructor, engaging style, and very relevant material. My boss and colleagues were impressed with my dashboards after I attended the class.
I would recommend Steve Wexler's workshops to anyone who wants to learn more about data visualization and dashboard design. My colleague suggested the workshops when I asked for advice on working with survey data. The content is great and Steve's presentation style is very engaging. His book and blog are wonderful resources and I refer to them often.
Steve is a thought leader in the Tableau world. I have book marked his blog and often visit to get a fresh perspective of how to create crisp and insightful vizs. I also refer to his book. The Big Book of Dashboards from time to time.
Data Revelatons, led by Steve Wexler, is an extremely knowledgeable firm. From my experience with Steve, he provides great insight and dedication working on data analytics projects. Steve is a co-author of an excellent work about dashboard design, and a leader in understanding the pitfalls and nuances of working with survey data. I reached out to Steve when I was struggling with an unfamiliar project with some data to wrangle, and he volunteered his time and expertise in an exceptionally generous way. After working with Steve, I had the yield, tools, and resources to continue my inquiry into working with survey data and visualizing it. He did this all sensitive to my context, and he supported my goals in a way I hadn't even expected. I recommend Data Revelations with the highest possible regard for your data analytics and data visualization needs.
Steve Wexler and his blog Data Revelations helped me tremendously in understanding how to work with survey data in tableau. I have often recommended his site to my colleagues and it remains a source of inspiration to this day.
I started working with Steve a couple years ago because I was having a tough time finding someone with a strong background in Tableau AND survey data. Steve ended up being the PERFECT resource and taught me so many tips and tricks for making survey data work well in Tableau in addition to dashboard best practices. I still use all the techniques I've learned from Steve and believe its because of the good foundational understanding he taught me that I've been able to continue to grow in Tableau. Steve is absolutely me go-to resource for all things Tableau!
Steve lead my corporate Tableau training class years ago, but I've never stopped learning from him thanks to his Data Revelations blog and now live streaming Chart Chat.
This workshop was very helpful. The book distributed during the workshop was also very helpful. I still consult it.
The online training I completed through Data Revelations is the most influential data visualization learning in my profession career. I have since gone on to more intricate and complex visuals, but everything I build has components or fundamentals that were learned through Data Revelations training.
This is a great website that I go to on a regular basis to learn about how to use Tableau for data visualization. Strongly recommended!
Steve is fantastic. His workshop gave me data viz ideas and best practices that were easy to understand and implement. Highly recommend his workshops.
Steve is a fantastic teacher i anyone is looking to learn Tableau from the scratch. He helped me big time with data visualization and how to design dashboard from his workshops. In today's world where visualizing survey data is a new demand in market research, steve wexler's experience is invaluable.
