Staff is rude as well as not helpful. All their glasses on display are filthy, although they are vigilant in acting like they are keeping them clean. Zero customer service skills. Walked right out.

Nasty doctor. Nasty staff. I don’t recommend. But unfortunately this is the only place my insurance lets me go to.

This place is not was it used to be. AWFUL customer service. The doctors are nice but the other staff NO! Do they not have a phone? They never seem to answer it!? What’s up with that!? I drove by on hold and no one was on the phone and standing around chit chatting. Unbelievable. Won’t be going here anymore

I would give no stars if I could. Absolutely horrific! Covid is here and it’s bad enough you have to wait forever to get an appointment, but I understand it. I scheduled an appointment that I had to wait a month and a half for. When I arrived for the appointment they said they did not have me scheduled. They did absolutely nothing to help me out, but to say sorry we don’t have you in the system. Maybe offer to fit me and my wife in, but nothing. So basically they deleted my appointment and put someone else in my spot, never receiving a call or an email to reschedule; nothing. So now I had to schedule a new appointment at a different location and have to wait until the end of December thanks to The Hauppauge stores awful handling of appointments.

Their phone system doesn't work - it never gets you to a store associate. I've tried several times and the phone tree has you pushing buttons but you can never reach anyone. They tell you to use the website but the appt's are months out - and that can't possibly be true. So frustrating!

Did this company go out of business? They dont answer the phone. Ever. I called corporate, they dont answer the phone. Appointments cant be made on their website. Very strange. You would think they would shut down their website.

I ordered contact lenses on 6/25/20 and never received them (today is 8/27/20). I have called over a dozen times and have somehow not been able to get through to anyone (over 90 min on hold cumulatively; sometimes the phone system is just down).

I spoke with customer care via IM and they insured me that they sent an email to the Hauppauge office and that someone would call me asap.big surprise 8 hours later no one calls.

I have already paid for these contact lenses. Jumping through hoops to get them. What do I have to do to get the contact lenses I ordered and paid for two months ago?

The girls that work here are extremely rude they ordered wrong frames and ordered extra pair of glasses for 400.00 for my wife without her knowledge. They should reevaluate their approach on customer service. Both girls were argumentive when my wife informed them the frames were wrong and said they couldn't do anything this will be the last visit to this company and we will go back to pearl vision in Hauppauge.

I needed an eye exam and went to the Davis Vision Store in Hauppauge. I met Richard Gardner Jr. He was so kind and considerate and I had a wonderful experience.

I needed to be re evaluated 6 months later due to migraines and vision blurry and i was given an appointment with custoner service who listened to my concerns and then booked me for a service repair appointment, online there was no availability at any of the locations i checked for an eye exam which if you ask me the website doesn't work for eye exams. I went into the Hauppage location and met Josie who was annoyed and less than helpful. She claimed that she cant help me with my appointment because its a re evaluation that I need bot a repair. She didnt even try to help me with the concerns of my migraine and blurry vision. I expected her to atleast reach out to the doctor and get his/her take since I was not doing all the things I did for my previous exam. She gave me an appointment 2 months out and when I asked to go on a cancellation list she tried talking me out of it and said 90% of people don't cancel. I found her to be cold and callous, not caring of the customer. Mabey she was tired or had a bad day but no matter what your job is to offer customer service. I will not be going back to that location. Josie needs some classes in Customer Service and Cultural Sensitivity.

I had a 1pm appointment. Came in at around 12: 45 and sat around, in direct view of the manager and various employees only to never be attended. I did not see the front desk to check in as I had come in to the back entrance. That part is my fault however it amazes me that not a single employee decided to attend me. When I asked about my appointment I was told I missed my appointment and needed to reschedule. I will be rescheduling at another place.

Just picked up our 9th pair of glasses over the course of 5 years. Polite and friendly staff and good doctors. I like that it's the same people each time you go, the staff doesn't turn over quickly and the 'new' people that they hire are just as friendly as the 'old' ones. Highly recommend.

Front desk lady was so rude, went to the front desk for an interview and I said have a good day she completely ignored me. They’re so rude, I’ll never return ever. Plus their glasses are basic. Not worth the money.

I've been a customer for 25 plus years, I make an appointment, usually not a wait, staff is always very helpful with selection of proper glasses. Jeff is very helpful fitting glasses and is very knowledgeable about the different options.

My experience at Davis Optical in Hauppauge was great. I first worked with Maria who helped me with my insurance and paperwork. She was kind, efficient and was able to easily answer all my questions. I then worked with Kerry Ann who helped me pick out a nice pair of glasses that fit my picky criteria. She was patient and honest when helping me narrow down a pair of frames, and went above and beyond to see that my order was processed right away. Lastly, I worked with Mr Feder who fitted my glasses once they were ready. He was friendly, funny and made sure I was happy with my frames and fit. In less than one hour I had a brand new pair of glasses! I highly recommend Davis Optical in Hauppauge.

Most unfreindliest reception staff. Eye Dr. Was much better along with the contacts salesperson. You will wait a long time for anyone to pretend they didnt realize you are there
