I just came from an appointment here everyone was so nice and very efficient. The doctor was great, all the office people were friendly and helpful. Also the big fan of the office manager. They fixed my glasses and gave me a discount on new lenses. Would definitely come back:)

My has that place changed for the Worse! I Had an exam. The eye doctor was late. Called me incorrectly by my last name. No apologies. Did not explain anything she was doing. Everything computerized. No dialogue whatsoever. Didn’t ask for my last eye exam prescription. I had to ask her if she wanted it. Front desk just as bad as the doctor. If you want to be treated like a non-human then Davis Vision Works is for you! Never Again!

Awful when you pay in full and show up 20 minutes before closing just to pickup your glasses and they don’t let you inside. We’ll go somewhere else after this.

Short story: daughter's initial appointment was four months ago and she still doesn't have the correct prescription in her eyes.

Slightly longer story: put through the gauntlet of unreturned phonecalls, unreturned emails, orders that magically disappeared and needed to be reordered from distribution centers. Opened a corporate customer support ticket two months ago that temporarily lit a fire under these people, and I just had to re-open it.

And more: initial prescription was wrong (blurry). They adjusted the prescription and we've been waiting forever for the lenses to come in the mail (1/3 of a year to be specific). Not even a trial of the new prescription has been in my kid's eyes. I just went to another doctor and they identified that both the initial and the adjusted prescription were wrong and that I've been waiting for a bad prescription for four months. I used my insurance and some cash and this place has tied my hands and I've had to pay a lot of money out of pocket elsewhere. Beware.

Visited this location to see if I could have a pair of glasses repaired (lens had fallen out). Was greeted immediately on entering by Christian, who repaired my glasses, checked them against my new prescription to ensure that they were done correctly (by another vendor), compared them against my prior prescription, and then provided thoughtful and appropriate counseling. Oh, and refused payment because “this is what we do. ” What a well-run, professional business. They will be getting all of my business from now on. Thanks, Christian and Visionworks!

I booked an appointment for my 17 year old with the doctor and no one told me it would be virtual. You don't find that out until you are well into your visit. None of their policies are consistent and no one in the office will help you. They just say "I just work here, call corporate". It's a shame because I used to like it there but after 3 horrible experiences, my family of 4 will be going elsewhere.

Order to set’s of glass a month ago still have not received any of them. Never had to wait for glasses this long. Go somewhere else! So Aggravated with these people

All the opticians and everyone at the front desk are fantastic and are always willing to go above and beyond! They have a great selection of frames, and can even have glasses done in an hour if you need them!

Don't try calling.you will be on 30 min before someone answers. Are the system will say that you are calling after hrs when they are opened at 9am. Not sure why I can't get someone to speak to.

Vision works has joined most industries by making a human unavailable to answer questions by phone. Bravo! They should be proud. Prices go up, service declines.

Not the fastest service but I really liked the optometrist and he was sweet and patient with my kids. We will be back, prices were good too.

This is my first time ever going to get glasses and I must say, I didn’t quite know what to expect but for someone speaking with severe ptsd I was comfortable the doc was great with addressing my eye needs brook gave a warm welcome when I entered made me feel at home and caren the optician was great I love this place and will definitely be back and with more buisiness might I add

Rescheduled twice. Front desk scheduled eye exam then cancelled at time of visit because my insurance was canceled. It wasn't they used my ss# instead of my insurance ID. Then held my authorization so I couldn't go to another company. So, exam only, then brought glasses at Lens Crafters. Lost business! Appointment was 4 weeks later.

Bad experience. Will not be returning to this location. Ordered glasses over a month ago and called several times for an update. They kept telling me a manager would look into it and that I would be notified as soon as they came in. Finally I drove there to speak to a manager in person. I asked for a manager, who I spoke to, and he said my glasses came in a few days ago. When I asked what took so long and why I wasn't notified, they had no answer. Nobody even so much as apologized for the inconvenience and incompetence. Nobody seemed to care or acknowledge my frustration and inconvience it caused me.

Scheduled an appointment due to horrible headaches.got there for my appt and was told i needed to wait and they would call me.i sat in my car for THREE hours.i called and was told i could go in in a minute or that they weren’t ready yet.called to ask if i could just come in to use the bathroom and was told “we don’t have one but you can go to the restaurant next door and ask them”. Finally, I decided to just walk in (despite their rules for covid) and they apologized and said they had no clue i was even there.upon going in (there was a bathroom) i waited some more.was seen by the doctor and overheard her telling a patient they didn’t need glasses but would give a. 25 anyway even though the patient said they were having horrible migraines and couldn’t see.i was told the exact same thing.upon trying on glasses, i was told that none of the ones i liked suited me.i finally settled on a pair i wasn’t too thrilled about.i received the glasses a week later and they weren’t at all like the ones i had tried on in store.they were barely adjusted and constantly were falling down my face and were bent so they always looked crooked. Just went to Rocky Point vision works who said i definitely needed a different prescription.they allowed me to choose the glasses that i liked without commentary.spoke to a few others who went to visionworks in riverhead who wear glasses.they were given the same story of “you don’t need glasses, but ill give you. 25 but it probably won’t help”, yet when they went to a different visionworks they were told they definitely needed glasses and were given a correct prescription.

The staff was very nice & professional, but for the money we spent, the quality of the glasses is poor. Both sides came off on mine, I was very surprised, as I am always very careful when i use them while out shopping etc. We spent over $400.00. So were just very disappointed.
