My new deck is a great addition to my house. Deck’s unique installed right before the holiday I highly recommend deck’s unique. Kyriel was so nice to work with.

I called many different decking contractors before deciding to go with Decks Unique and all I can say is that I am glad I did. From the initial meeting and planning the experience was wonderful. The contractors who came were great. They worked hard all day and had most of the deck completed in one day. They came back and did the final touches and it looks great. I have gotten many compliments of the deck and I have recommended them to several others. I had a small issue several years after the deck was completed and they were there the next day to fix it. I highly recommend Decks Unique.

Jason was my contact person to construct an 30' x 15' ipe Wood deck 2- 3' feet above ground at the rear of my home in 2013. It's 10 years later, and the deck is still in perfect condition. There were issues regarding how the deck would exist with the balloon wood framing of my 100 yo house, but they solved that. They worked quickly and obtained permits with my village. I am very pleased.

Decks Unique did an outstanding job building our deck! They arrived on time and worked non stop until they finished, breaking only for lunch. The deck looks beautiful. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up prior to leaving. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Overall had a good experience from start to finish. George helped us choose a deck that was functional, beautiful, and within our budget. He was also very responsive when we requested changes to the layout drafts. What was most impressive was that we were able to complete the project ahead of our originally scheduled dates and the work was done in two days flat. The downside was they did not clean up that well after the job was done and we had an issue with some of the lattice bowing from not being installed properly but they came back and quickly resolved it.

I am extremely happy with the work completed by Decks Unique. From Jason the salesman, to Kyriel the general office manager to Lou and his crew. I had a very short time frame to work with and they were more than accommodating. I would highly recommend them

I was looking to replace my large wood decking with synthetic decking and looked at multiple companies. I chose Decks Unique and was glad I did. The demolition crew came the first day. The crew was larger than I expected and they did a great job removing my railings and decking without damaging anything around the deck. Everything was spotless when they left. The next day the decking crew came. The master builder worked in the morning rebuilding my two sets of stairs as I had asked for slight modifications in the stair design. He was very friendly and I could see he knew exactly what he was doing. While he was working on the stairs, the 6 members of the crew were working on the decking. They were very efficient and they worked as a team. They completed the decking the first day and the railings the second day and did an amazing job. They even washed and hosed down the deck and railings when they were finished. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and family.

Highly recommend Decks Unique. We've gotten so many compliments on our pool deck. (Oval pool 12x20; deck is on one side with stairs on one side.)

They were quick and efficient from start to finish. Once we signed the contract, they got us on the calendar quickly. On day of, the crew arrived on time and the whole job was completed within 5 hours. They also did an immaculate job with the clean up after.

The price for the deck was more than fair. We reached out to 2 other deck builders and they were charging the same for lesser quality materials.

I'm unsure of which areas they service, but Decks Unique did an amazing job for us so if they can make it out to you I would definitely recommend going with them because they know what they're doing.

Have done many construction projects for my home and buisness this by far one of the best overall experiences with a construction company. Final product was more than expected work crew professional and efficient and Jason our overall contact person was very responsive and helpful without the hype.

8 mos later Aug 11 2023 … had some boards needing replacement and small fix issue and again Decks did the right thing and took care of all the issues.

Decks Unique did a Trex Pool deck installation for me. Jason and Kyriel are beyond great to work with and to do business with on all levels. The day of the install crew showed up as promised at 7am and my pool deck was finished perfectly by 3. They also were very kind about any special needs i felt were musts for the job to come out as perfect as i wanted it to. Thanks to Decks Unique and if your looking for a great deck team hire this team!

When I first started shopping to replank our aprox. 300 sq.ft.deck in Trex and rebuild the steps I expected it to cost about $5K. The 4 estimates I got ranged from $8K to $20K. Decks Unique was not the cheapest but their salesman Jason impressed me with his professionalism. One estimate said it would take about 2 weeks. He told me the job would take 2 days. The job did get pushed back by a week, but once they started they came in with a demo crew of about 5 or 6 and demo was completed in a few hours. Turned out they needed to replace 11 joists which cost an extra $500. The next day their build crew (again about 5 or 6) showed up as promised about 7am. By noon the job was complete, everything was cleaned up and they did a beautiful job. I'm very happy to recommend them.

Working with Decks Unique has hands-down been the best experience that we've had thus far in regards to our home renovations in the three years of owning our new house. They built our new deck exactly as we wanted it in just 3 days and their professionalism and communication was outstanding throughout the entire (very short) process.

I had a vision of exactly what I wanted for my back deck, complete with a unique and custom railing that I had found on Pinterest. We got quotes from multiple decking companies and Decks Unique was the only company to tell us that they could make whatever we wanted happen. We also had a pre-existing screened-in porch that other decking companies told us we would need to hire a third party to take down and rebuild in order for the renovations to be completed. Decks Unique not only said they would take it down and build it up themselves if needed, but they ended up finding a way to prop up the structure and work around it without compromising the quality of their work or the decking.

Jason designed the deck exactly as I had described to him and sent renderings over to us fairly immediately after going over details. The renderings were so perfect that I thought it was almost too good to be true that the actual deck would come out exactly as I had envisioned it. Lou, Manny and the guys showed up each day at 7am sharp and worked tirelessly for the entire day. I was worried they weren't even breaking for lunch at one point. They managed to demolish our old deck in half of a day and had our brand new deck up in just 3 days. The photos below speak for themselves but I cannot recommend Decks Unique enough and we will definitely be working with them again on our future project that will be the front porch! Five well-deserved stars from us for Decks Unique.

I have been dealing with Decks Unique since the business was started in 1987. My first deck was cedar, as I recall. But the undercarriage was nickel plated steel poles in concrete and the main supporting wood CCA. When they did my deck over 20 years later I canged to composite and expanded the footprint. When they ripped off the old deck planks everything undeneath look like it did 20 years before when he installed the first deck. Saved me a lot. That second deck, the composit, looks as good as when he put it in about 15 years ago.
Stellar company. Skill, care and attention to detail throughout.

They were amazing, courteous, FAST and an amazing value for what I asked for and received. I would absolutely use them again.
