Our ~3.5yo lab has been going to the Canine Athletic Club regularly for years. It’s a great program that gets our energetic pup off-leash exercise, training, and socialization. It’s a dream come true for city dogs! Sal, Taylor, and the entire Delighted Dog team are a pleasure to work with and will quickly become your - and your pups’ - favorite people:)

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Delighted Pets. They are truly full service and go above and beyond to ensure the enjoyment and safety of my dog while he's in their care while also providing consistent updates to put my mind at ease. I use them for daytime walks, daycare/club days, grooming and boarding. They have curbed my dog's reactivity, helped with his socialization and Sal is always available to offer additional training advice. The staff is so friendly and fully in control of the animals. My dog cannot contain his excitement when they come to pick him up for whatever we have scheduled for that day.

Sal and his team are wonderful and they are lifesavers! I found out my puppy (Bear) was arriving in three days and they told me exactly what I needed and gave me great advice for how to start training him. I have had dogs but had never had a puppy before. Bear has gone for both day and overnight care and has come back better trained and full of energy. I recommend them highly. They take care of both you and your dog. Thank you Sal!

The Delighted Pets team is outstanding! Kiel walks our dog, Wally, 5 times per week and he is so caring and attentive to his needs. Wally can be reactive to certain triggers, and Kiel helps with reinforcing good behavior and walking him safely. We also get daily reports with photos, which is much appreciated! We haven't used them yet for boarding/day care, but certainly will when we need it! Sal and the rest of the team are very communicative and always responsive when we need them. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

What a great find! Sal and team at Delighted Pets are fabulous! The Canine Club is impressive, to say the least. They provide all of the canine members with an enriched, active experience. The dogs are mentally challenged and exercised through obstacle courses, training, and working on commands. The club is impressively clean and it’s easy to tell cleanliness is of top priority. Dog “parents” receive photos and videos of the day’s activities. Sal is extremely knowledgeable and very supportive. My two puppies LOVE going and have learned so much. I highly recommend!

Would give 6 stars if I could. Sal and his entire team team are extremely knowledgeable about canine needs and behavior, so beyond giving my dog a safe place to be when we're away, I know they will also make sure he is stimulated, socialized, exercised, and played with. They even have a doggie treadmill and an obstacle course! It is professionally run and organized, with good communication and organization related to planning the stay, during the stay and after the stay. I really never write online reviews, so the fact that I'm writing one just goes to show how much our family really trusts and appreciates Delighted Pets.

This review is long overdue. My wife and I moved to NYC from California in September of 2022 and it quickly became clear that our 90+ lb Great Pyrenees mix would need some extra walks / exercise / play time. Two different pet owners in our neighborhood dog park independently mentioned Delighted Pets, so I gave them a try. We have been using Delighted Pets not only for weekly dog walks, but also for day care/trips up to their "Canine Athletic Club" in Brewster, NY, as well as occasional boarding when we're headed out of town. All of their services have been great. Our dog is *always* excited when his walker comes to get him, and he literally howls with excitement when the van comes to pick him up for his trips to "the club. " I can not recommend Delighted Pets enough. Give them a try.

I manage a family on the UES who have a Golden doodle, a Frenchie and a white Labrador puppy. One of them is wearing us out - I won’t say which - but I WILL say that we’re confident the patient and knowledgeable caregivers at Delighted Pets, Inc will apply the expert training and loving attention we’ve come to know for the past few years to get him sorted. Our doggos are enthusiastic participants of the program - they’re scooped up in the morning and dropped off safely in the late afternoon - plenty of texts, photos and videos are provided in between to give us a sense of exactly how much fun they’re having while they’re away from us. Training clips allow us a glimpse of just how focused and obedient our dogs can be with consistent care - it’s really a treat to watch. I cannot recommend Sal and Co.more highly - Delighted Pets has a range of services that meets all needs - transportation, guided play, focused training - even grooming. They’re caring, communicative and accommodating - we couldn’t find a better care family for our fur babies if we tried. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Sal and his team are great with our lab! When our dog had digestive issues he recommended a brand of dog food for us (vet approved) and it has worked wonders. Very knowlegeable, super caring, and great with communication. They go above and beyond in terms of care and service. We’ve been a happy customer for many years. Highly recommend!

When my dog sees the Delighted Pets van pull up he runs to get in - I think he likes to board there more than he likes being with us! This is his happy place - cannot recommend it enough!

We bring our dog every week. When we get there in the morning, our yellow lab is very excited to be there. He pulls on the leash to get inside to see his friends.

Randy absolutely loves going to daycare at Delighted Pets! Since starting several months ago he has learned new positive behaviors and always comes home tired and happy. I am so relieved to have found a place to bring my dog for exercise and socializing. I enjoy receiving photos and updates each day so I know that he is in a safe environment surrounded by a caring and dedicated team who is always so responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Sal and the entire team are super responsive, transparent and professional. They are prompt and are in frequent communication with videos, pictures, updates. My pup had a hard time adjusting to a new environment but it was comforting to know he was being watched over and in good hands. Thank you!

Excellent customer service experience. I hired Sal to bring our dog back from California. Done in 4 days. And sent us pics the entire time. When they arrived to New York we were not available. And he took our dog and the car to his place of work. Our dog stayed the night. The next day he brought the dog and car. He even had the car cleaned. I’m super excited about having him as our new dog care partner.

Sal & his team went above and beyond to help take care of our dog Paisley. The seamless and constant communication of how she was doing was incredibly appreciated. Would absolutely recommend to any dog parents in the NYC area!

Oh man where do I even begin! We found Delighted Pets through a trainer we know in Williamsburg. We were in a bit of a bind and needed a place to board our dog, Ravioli. I was honestly floored by how accommodating and helpful Brittany, Luke and Taylor were. The team is just awesome - they are attentive and super responsive and they helped set up both the boarding and pick up for Ravioli. While he was there, we received pictures and videos as well as text updates multiple times a day. When we picked up Ravioli, he was so happy and albeit, super exhausted (great for us!). As we were leaving, he ran back to say goodbye to one of the staff members, Andrea. He hopped up on his hind legs and gave her a hug and some kisses. It was extremely sweet to witness - we could tell he was well taken care of and loved the staff. I think that interaction was actually the most important for us to see because you only get snap shots of their experience in photos and videos but to actually witness how much affection he had for one of the Delighted Pets staff, was amazing. I would 100% recommend Delighted Pets to anyone interested in their Canine Club pr board and train. The team is absolutely top tier!
