Delmar Pizzeria reviews
15Great spot to grab a slice of pizza, and the environment is great. Owners are very kind and the bay area is only a few blocks away.
Ordered a vodka pizza. Regular cheese pizza came instead (no vodka sauce). I have had their vodka pizza many times in the past. Manager proceeded to argue with me on the phone when I called to request the correct pizza be delivered. They refused to acknowledge or correct their mistake. Unacceptable for how expensive their pizza is. SAD! Order from somewhere more resonably-priced that will get your order correct.
Furthermore, I have had many pizzas in Brooklyn since my traumatic childhood emigration from Soviet Russia, and never had as terrible an experience as this. Broke my gluten-free diet for this. Disappointed.
Look at this RED TOMATO SAUCE on what is supposed to be a VODKA pizza! 1! 11! 1!
The owner is so rude. Tells his customers to shut up, definitely can’t sit comfortably in this place. Go to V&S instead, the same pizza but with an owner who doesn’t boss his customers around.
Best pizza and hot sandwiches in Sheepshead Bay. I love the eggplant and mozzarella sandwiches they are delicious!
Old fashioned dinner atmosphere, short menu, first bite of pizza took me back 30 years ago when I was living in Rome and would have a slice on way home at the end of day. Will be back.
I like my crunchy slice of pepperoni. Supposedly best pizzeria in the hood. If i go for pizze- its there. Clean place, friendly stuff. Like
This is my favorite pizzeria! I love their pizza, eggplant panini's and jumbo shrimp parmasean with angel hair pasta. I go there whenever I'm in the neighborhood.
I only wish the entranceway was wider; they should buy the place next door and make Delmar bigger.
Make an order 1 hour ahead. They said 30 minutes. Then I said I will be there in 1 hours. When I come they said 15 minutes more. Highly not recommended
I’ve been a loyal customer of Delmar for almost 30 years, never in my life have I ever received my food this way. As you see in the picture this is how I received my order. Opened, beaten and crushed to the point you can’t even see the second tray. What’s worse is the fact that the rude girl that takes the orders over the phone wouldn’t even offer to send out a fresh order because it was ordered through seamless. I’m sorry but that’s not the answer for someone who waited over an hour for disappointment. There was no owner or manager to be found. This is NOT how you treat your customers and I advise EVERYONE to never give this place a cent again.
My go to place growing up but just ordered a vodka pie and it was literally paper thin with zero sauce on it. Ive had 2 bros pizza way better than this. So disappointed
Only pizza around in sheepshead bay area.but the food and pizza are not even close to really good more like ok food. I bought a eggplant parm sandwich honestly had ONE SLICE of eggplant would be funny but it was just robbery. But when you don't have a choice what can you do.actually just buy supermarket pizza lol
One of my favorite pizza joints in Brooklyn. I love the vodka pie and highly recommend. The pizza literally melts in your mouth. You can tell it was made from scratch and with love. If in Brooklyn and craving pizza give them a try. Highly recommend you can not go wrong. They also make a good penne alla vodka with shrimp.
Best pizzeria in Brooklyn and the best eggplant panini’s ever. I know since I still go back once a month for the past 12-yrs.all the way frm.upstate ny
Another terrible uncooked, very thin slice pizza place just like many others in Brooklyn.
Very thin slice and almost completely raw dough! Also very poor quality bread even on a bottom where it’s cooked, very hard to chew, feel like rubber.
