Denny's

Love this Denny's restaurant! The nacho appetizer is excellent and we're never disappointed by our breakfast. The only thing better than our meal was our waitress, Amber! She is friendly, helpful with choices and very quick with anything we requested.a 5 star waitress and all around very nice person! Congratulations, Dennys, on a great employee!

I had a sandwich on fresh bread with fresh ingredients. It was excellent. Service was very good. The bathroom was clean.

Great service, very friendly. Food was pretty good overall; my hash browns were overdone and kind of greasy, but everything else was good and came out quickly. $3 for a cup of coffee or tea, or a to-go soda, seems ridiculously high. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well-kept.

We stopped by on our way home from a family wedding in nearby Bloomfield. The food was decent with healthy portions.just what You would expect breakfast to be at your local Denny's. It didn't disappoint.

4 lunches VG-Very busy-VERY SHORT STAFF- our server, female, pony tail, NO NAME TAG was VG and kept her smile in spite of too many customers to serve.

This establishment was very nice waitress was very polite n professional. I just don't like that they discontinued the biscuits n gravy. That was one their best items on the menu.

I only gave it one star because the waitress was nice. We came in at 330pm because my daughter loves the potato soup special only available on Wed and Thurs. The server told us they were out of the soup and the cook would make more but it would be 30 mins. We said ok and that we would come back. We returned at 430 (1 hour later) and she said he was making the soup but it was still watery and would be another 20 mins. We decided to sit and wait and I ordered a sandwich. 30 mins later I finished the sandwich and the fries and the server told us the soup was still watery, it is now 5pm, an hour and a half since we hade first come in. We decided to leave and I will NEVER EVER eat there again. I could have made that soup from scratch in the same amount of time and don't appreciate my time being wasted. If he didn't want to make the soup they should of never told us they could make another batch. And why are they out of the soup of the day by 3 in the afternoon anyway?

Lacking in food only gives you a bite of potato’s. There sausage is sad when it comes to flavor. The pancakes were ok and so was the coffee. The wait staff was always asking if I was ok.

Service terrible food was ok Carlene needs a helper. Dennys needs to invest in carafes for the table because refills were not offered. Napkins are also in short supply

The portions are ridiculously small and the service for pick up was terrible. I was first in line and a group walked up right after me and the cashier asked who goes first? I started to say I was first but she started asking the group (her friends). The group was 10 ppl and had multiple orders and reciepts. After she finished the first cashier asked who's next and jumped to another friend so I asked how much, gave a tip which I DEFINITELY DIDN'T WANT TO otherwise my food would've been frozen from waiting to get my change. I told them I was here first and ask who's first and not to make picking up last after ppl already ate. TERRIBLE DENNYS

It was so busy we had a wait time of 45 minutes. We decided to go else where and while we were deciding three, other groups came in and left due to the wait. They were not prepared with staff for a Sunday.

Update, went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Still had quite a long wait there was four groups ahead of us one group decided to not wait so our wait time was cut to about 15 minutes. Took quite a while for our order to come out but the food was good and the waitress was very friendly.

I had a wonderful experience at Denny’s due to the warm and pleasant server Amber. She’s an excellent addition to the Denny’s organization and the good was great.

We were up for a college graduation and had breakfast at Dennys. Food was hot and tasty and hit the spot. Our waiter Anthony was very pleasant and attentive. Overall definitely will be going back.

$40 with modest tip for coffee and omelettes for 2 guys? Crazy prices on good food… but not worth half the cost! Farewell Denny’s

So sorry that 0 stars is not an option here. 21 empty tables and we are not seating anyone until the orders are put in from tables that are seated that's what the lovely (hope you can all tell my sarcasm here)! Hostess said that kitchen staff had said. 6 tables seated. A perfect way to run a business straight into the ground! There were 5 employees visable doing not much. Everyone was grouchy. Don't like your job and can't do your job there is a simple solution. QUIT! Would HIGHLY suggest retraining current staff! SMILES and not showing how irritated you are at your job is a plus. Not so sure I will return to DENNY'S after today's experience. GREAT JOB DENNYS! (AGAIN EXTREME SARCASM)

Very disappointed had to wait a long time to get seated even though there was several open tables. Took a while to get waited on after getting a table then had to repeatedly ask for silverware. Didn't bring all the food at the same time had to wait on getting all of it. Waitress' were rude and hateful. Denny's has always been one of my favorite restaurants but not sure if I'll ever go back. I gave only one star because there wasn't a zero.

We where there on Easter Sunday With my family I have never ever had such poor service. We where there waiting to be seated for over 40 minutes, they girl at the cash register was very very Snotty and rolled her eyes when we asked to set at a booth. I will never go there again!

I was in Denny's the other day and my server was Anthony. I just want to let you know that Anthony is a wonderful server. The suggestion he made for my son and I were perfect. Are drinks route right away. He made sure the food came out hot.
Everytime we go to Denny's I request Anthony because he's one of the sweetest young man. He makes us feel like we're family when we go in. I just want to let know that Anthony is a respectful, kindhearted young man who deserves to be recognized for his ability to really interact with the customers on a one-on-one basis. My son and I always look forward to going into Denny's just so we can see Anthony and enjoy our meal which always comes out perfectly. It's always exactly how we order it everytime. Thank you once again Anthony Ortiz for being one of the best servers I've ever had.

Terrible, the waitress didn't put in our order until I asked "how much longer will we have to waite "? People that came in well after us, got their food way before we did. The waitress did not even come over and offer us another refill on our drinks. I realize they are under staffed but, not an excuse for no communication. I am sympathetic to the staff shortage but, I will not be returning there for a meal.

Took my family here and wife and I bought the bourbon bacon burger. Mine tasted ok in the beginning but got a weird taste toward the end. My wife ate about a quarter of hers and stopped eating it because it didn't taste right. Within about 30 mins our stomachs were twisting and bubbly. I spent from 9: 30 at night until about 5 am throwing up at about 30 to 40 minute intervals. I suspect food poisoning. I filed a complaint with headquarters and they were very concerned. I called the Oneonta Denny's to give them a heads up and they gave me a runaround. Will never go back!
