Dental Oral Surgery, Bronx NY

I took my daughter there to have a tooth removed. It was done so quickly and professionaly. They put my baby on anesthesia and was done in 10 mins. The wait was a little long pre covid but well worth it.

Ok so wait is long. But guess what medicaid pays likes 45.00 for an extraction so what is a place to do. They have to pack people in. If you want fantastic service go see an oral surgeon who doesn't take medicaid otherwise just deal with it. They do a good job of doing what they are supposed to. You get that you pay for in life

My wife was experiencing some pain, and needed to have a molar, and a wisdom tooth extracted. After unsuccessfully searching for a facility that could see her over the weekend, and participate with her insurance, we came upon Manhattan Oral Surgery. The personnel over the phone advised us to be at the facility early, since walk-ins are the predominate method of seeing patients over the weekend. We arrived super early on Saturday (6: 15am to be exact). Doors opened by 7: 15am. The staff was super courteous, and very professional in there demeanor. Dr. Hirsch was very pleasant, and made my wife feel at ease (super nervous to say the least). The extractions went without a hitch, my wife felt no pain. She was in, and out of the procedure room ridiculously quick (15-20 minutes at the most). We left the office at approximately 9: 15am. By the time we arrived home, the prescriptions for her pain meds, and antibiotics had already been called, and filled in our local pharmacy; Talk about efficiency! Thank you Manhattan Oral Surgery.

This place is horrible. I called 3 time to confirmed that they take my insurance. Today I woke up 6 am because this place is crazy busy and super small. When I got there the lady told me she doesn’t tame my insurance I was so mad. Worse experience in my life. DO NOT GO HERE!

So I read all the reviews on this place after hearing about it from a coworker. Since my tooth started bothering me I mustered up the courage to go here and get my teeth pulled. Because I have a major fear of the dentist I decided to be put to sleep and take out all 4 wisdom teeth one time. In hopes I don’t have to do this procedure again.

4 Wisdom Teeth Removed 1/18/20

Location: I got to the office at 6: 40am there where 5 people infront of me. I went to park my car by the time I came back I was number 13 and it was just about 6: 50am the weather outside was 20 degrees. But all the reviews says to get there early.

Front Desk Staff: Rating 10/10.listen so many people are waiting for this place and to me they did amazing at organizing everything and getting us in. Doors opened up at 7: 15am on the dot. At that time there was about 30 people in line. The front desk staff was VERY PROFESSIONAL. Explained everything in English and Spanish and we then proceeded to get our paper work one by one. I got my paper work and finished my paper work at 7: 34am gave it in. I got call for X Ray at maybe 9am waited for 25mins then got called in to see Dr. Hirsch.

Procedure: Everything is fast paced the doctor looks at your x-rays ask you what is hurting you, talks to you for maybe 2 mins. Then he asks if you want to be put to sleep. I went for that option. To be honest I can’t remember anything but him asking me how I going to get home he took some info about my ride and placed a butterfly needle in my arm and I was in Lala land. The Dr.was very nice and zoomed in and out in 2 seconds. I don’t remember walking to the chair I woke up in but hey they got me there. The only critique I would give is he should do a warm hand off just to let each patient know what he did and after care. Out of the four wisdom teeth he pulled one has a bigger laceration so I would have liked to get a little info on that, But honestly that is minor to the great service I got. For me there are a little things I would question but all went well. I thank God and am happy. I don’t have pain just discomfort from the side that has a big cut. I’m staying on top of my meds so I don’t feel a thing. I’m just taking ibuprofen and the antibiotic. Also I use ice for the side where I have a big cut because that side is very swollen. Hope my review helps. But I would recommend.

I been calling them for over 2days either they answer the phone with an attitude or they give u wrong information about they schedule on when their open

Worst experience ever! The nurse don’t help you at all. They will send you home after waiting hours. Don’t go here, you will regret it.

The stuff are nice but the doctor that did surgery on my dad he took 2 tooth out on the same side and my dad was bleeding continuously from 11 am until at 9 pm when we took him to the emergency at North Central Hospital and they were able to stop the blood and give stitches. The Dentist was really rude to my dad even though he hit my dad and I'll sue on him for doing such irresponsible thing and being disrespectful.

Great place, staffs are friendly place is clean. I love the walk in, first come, first serve. Got there 6: 45am they opened up@ 7: 15am I was out by 9: 30am,

Great experience, surgeon was very nice, staff was professional and establishment was extremely clean. The wait was long due to the amount of people, I arrived at 7: 45am wasn't called back till about a little after 12pm but it was worth the wait. I didnt have any pain after having 2 teeth removed. I traveled all the way from Upstate, NY and would do the trip again if need be.

Even though I was told this place opens at 7: 15 I got there at 6: 45 and there was already a line forming outside all the assistance and nurses are pretty nice and polite, because there’s only one doctor takes them a while to get everybody done but it literally took the doctor two minutes to pull two teeth. Everything went smoothly it’s just that damn waiting time.

I was second on line first to be seen, the procedure (wisdom tooth extraction) was quick. The staff was professional. I can’t be more pleased!

Worse experience ever after three days I had complications went back the skinny white doctor said it was nothing I have to have reconstructive surgery on my nose and my mouth don’t go there.

I don't have any complaint about this place, they are very professional and they work fast.the only bad thing is the space on the waiting room it's always overcrowded.so if you want to go early be there early and when I say early I'm talking around 6 Am if you wanna be on the 5 first on the list.

Great staff and great doctors. It was worth the long wait. They know what they are doing for sure. I took my 9 yr old since peds dentist couldnt complete the work after numbing the area. Just to remove a spacer which got stuck into his gums. It was done as easy as 123. No cuting needed thank God. Highly recommend it. My husband and I had our tooth removed before and they were also great then.

It was a horrible experience. I went there with excruciating pain in my wisdom tooth which needed a simple extraction and called them prior. They had my xray on their system because of my prior visit to their other center and waiting for my insurance authorization.they dragged me there while dealing with the pain for 5 days and the doctor didn't evem examine my teeth, just looked at the xrays which were on the system and said she is not comfortable doing it.waisted 4 hours of my time.

My fiancé was treated very good here. Yes you have to get there extremely early on Saturdays and yes it gets crazy packed, but the ladies who work in the front are all very patient and very professional. Dr. Hirsch is amazing and I recommend him to everyone. The staff here is great! Thanks guys!

I walked in in pain and they pulled the wrong tooth. Looking for a lawyer. To bad I can't rate this zero stars

I called into the bronx office located on third avenue was told to come in at 7: 30am confirmed that they do take my insurance emblem health once I get there unfortunately the doctor there did not take my insurance i was told to go to the office on the grandconcourse I get here at 8: 15am its 10: 09am and im standing outside waiting to be called! No waiting space to much people this is disgusting! Get it together!
