Desi khabba halal restaurant reviews
15First, they take very long to prepare food. Second, everything is way too overpriced and this is the general opinion of many people in our community which is why a lot of us don't go there anymore. It's unseasonably overpriced. One piece of kabab is 3-4 dollars! Place is also not clean. There's other places in Buffalo now. Don't go here.
I went in for breakfast. The owner was very friendly unfortunately nothing was ready for another: 45 minutes. But the owner did explain why it was taking time items to be ready.
The restaurant was clean and well organized but the neighborhood are outside didn't appear so friendly
The food is so good! This restaurant is definitely underrated. The people here are so welcoming and nice! Definitely no complaints whatsoever
Roaches, So disgusting me and my husband used to get food from here all the time until they started putting extra prices on food, now when I decided to come back I see roaches. I will not come here ever again they lost a good customer hope they get they stuff together!
I recommend to all travelers to try this place for one time for:
1. Taste of the food. Very delicious.
2. Hospitable staff. Respectful and understanding. Guiding us very well with any food option they had.
3. It’s in a corner place of the town and perhaps far from Nia fall or down town but its worth going for the food.
4. Last is the price. You will get more for the same price comparing to other places.
The worst experience ever I had visiting and dine in this restaurant alongwith my family and guest. The food quality was very bad. The rice served was freezing cold. Instead of napkin they gave toilet roll on the table. The meat was only bones. Toilet flash was broken. How this restaurant got license I am really surprised!
Went to Desi Khaba for the first time today. Their chicken kebabs and mutton korma are the best I have had in Buffalo in the last 20 years! It’s a causal place so don’t go there expecting a fancy restaurant. Can’t wait to go there again!
This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in my life. Terrible customer service, disgusting behavior. After we ordered food, we were waiting more then 45 minutes, finally they gave cold food. But it should be hot and warm. They don’t have water & napkins. We asked for napkins - they gave us a toilet paper roll, in a brief- they are uncivilized.
They always charge extra for no reason, they suppose to have menu with price! Also they don’t give you salad or napkins. Cheap as muthersukers.
We went for breakfast, had paratha with chana And nihari with naan. It was authentic and amazing. Never had this type of filling breakfast before! Also the chai is super yummy! Must try!
The quality of this restaurant is very poor. The rice was cold. We had to wait more than one hour for our food which was not that good. The establishment was also unhygienic as the bathroom door was always open but the toilet is broken.
Tooo over priced food… specifically the gyro. We too gyro over rice & the rice was old cooked. It didn’t taste good at all. Only the chana dal we liked. Other than that all food tastes okay for the price. Tandoori chicken was too salty. All of it they took extra money if you are paying with credit card along with the tax. They call it “atm charge “. Disappointing…
I give 2 star for service & clean environment.
Excellent experience. We took chicken karai, beef masala and beef nihari.all the items were very tasty and well cooked. Moreover, the staffs were well behaved and helpful.
In WNY, this is by far the most authentic Pakistani/Indian restaurant. Their recipes bring out the taste of the cuisine as experienced in the subcontinent. The service is friendly and they are not hung up on typical policy and procedures and are generous with their portions. The staff is helpful and friendly and the place is clean. The atmosphere is closer to a "Dhaba" which translates into a casual place catering to down to earth common people; so don't go there looking for fancy white table cloths and a wait staff. I go there for the awesome food and am never disappointed!
