Designer Smiles Dentistry of Garden City

I was so happy when I found this office! I was seen within the week. Everyone was so professional and personable. I even went back late in the day to take care of some findings. And I’m sure you’re wondering why I’m giving a 2 star review. I asked prior to my procedure how much I’d be coming out of pocket, I was reassured that my insurance covers my bill. When I asked again to make sure before confirming my appointment to come back later on that day her answer changed to “I haven’t looked yet”. When checking out I was told the bill was $190. Shame on me for not getting a straight answer before I was seen a second time. When questioned on whether she could bill me instead of paying up front I was given the run around, not a direct answer and then given the option of financing. To my understanding companies send the bill out to insurance first and then bill you. She said next time I can do less work so the out of pocket wouldn’t be so much. Which was a little insensitive to the situation I’m in right now. I would love to go here again, but I feel like their purpose was to get me in for their benefit and didn’t care to much to actually tend to any of my questions. So disappointing

Dr. Wayne Hsieh and the staff are truly the best. Dr. Hsieh has fixed my cavities and crown. Office receptionist and staff are friendly and courteous and the office is clean. They help navigate insurance and are honest. I highly recommend them!

Been going to Dr. Hsieh for 10+ years, excellent professional dentistry service, nice clean rooms equipped with what I could only say to be some of the newest and latest equipments available (I’ve watched HGTV on tv monitor hovering overhead while getting dental work done!). The office is conveniently located off the Meadowbrook Parkway, and the front desk is as friendly as can be, truly a gem in the neighborhood, highly recommend!

I chose Designer Smiles because of Dr. Hsieh's training and skill in cosmetic dentistry. My teeth, although healthy, just looked old and brown. Dr. Hsieh recommended whitening and porcelain veneers. Now my teeth look perfect, and it took years off my smile. I never had any pain, and Dr. Hsieh made sure we were both completely satisfied with the result. I now go to Designer Smiles for all of my routine dental care, and my husband is a patient, too. They're always up to date with the best and latest treatments, and they make great recommendations for your at-home dental care. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The staff is exceptional. Very welcoming and friendly. The dentist was very nice and informative, helped me work through options and plans for some complicated issues I was having. He provided excellent service and I will be coming here for all my future dental needs.
