I have been going to Determination PT for about 2 months now for a tennis elbow and a wrist injury. Dr. Yakov and the staff are genuinely caring and make every effort to not only treat, but to inquire about the cause and status of the discomfort each and every visit.

Dr. Yakov consistently checks to see where I am on my healing progression and adjusts the appropriate treatment as necessary. Still in the healing process, but the exercises & therapy seem to finally be going in the right direction. I had been plagued with the pain for about half a year with no end in sight, until now.

Highly recommend a visit, if PT is what the doctor prescribes.

Definitely the best physical therapy. My wife and I had a car accident and went to different therapy places, but here Determination Physical Therapy has really helped us improve.we receive proper care and treatment and we are truly treated by professionals. They deserve more than 5 stars

Great place for physical therapy. Doctor Simkhayev is fantastic. He helps me with my shoulder problems. I recovered very well. I will always be thankful for him and the office staff. Very nice people. They always try to help you.

Dr Yakov is an extremely intuitive and effective PT. He was the fourth in a (so far) line of five PTs I have seen in two years to work on an extremely complex rib cage/scapula issue that has not been fully resolved. While it wasn’t ever clear to me what the mechanism was that allowed his techniques and methods to work, his treatment greatly reduced my discomfort. If you’ve found other PTs to be ineffective, give Dr Yakov a shot. He’s worth it.

I have had a great experience, I had scoliosis and had a lot of pain, since going I now barley have any pain and feel much better this place has helped me a lot I definitely recommend it.

Determination PT is the best. The staff here really cares about your well-being and making sure you feel heard and taken care of. They’re really knowledgeable and helped me feel 100% better after breaking my foot. They give you exercises and stretches to do at home as well so you can continue to work on your goals. I was in a lot of pain after wearing a cast for 2.5 months and I could feel myself in less and less pain after every session.

Staff here is very attentive and friendly, and are dedicated to helping you with your PT needs. This includes both exercises and electrical stimulation techniques, as well as an on-site doctor capable of doing nerve testing. All around great experience!

Dr. Simkhayev was a very good PT practitioner for me. I am young and had lower back pain from a strength training injury, and he made sure that I was given the treatment and the knowledge to start training again and taking care of myself in ways that I didn’t know before. Thank you very much!

After fall in 2005 where I shattered my ankle into pieces I underwent a complicated surgery ORIF, several months after until 2022, my condition worsened due to improper physical therapy at various clinics, assistants telling me to do the wrong exercises and aggressive/general massage from people not licensed. All this improper treatment significantly worsened my condition to where i could hardly walk and felt tears in my eyes with every step. Soon after i received 3 more surgeries including ankle fusion and replacement.
I was referred to Determination Physical Therapy where i was treated w/ excellent care. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about my condition after surgery. Dr. Yakov and John were very attentive throughout treatment and assuring me every step of the way throughout my rehab. Would definitely recommend this clinic.

Dr Yakov and his team are my salvation. I have had irreversible back issues which amongst one of the is sciatica and stubborn pain in my lower back. No other therapists have helped me by far. Dr Yakov has a very individual approach to every patient, he is very caring, knows how to listen and is attentive. He is positively demanding, so you must do a lot of consistent job with your body at home. He will be trying out exercises on you for as long as you will finally say - my comfort of mobility is starting to improve. You will always want to go back there as the whole staff is friendly, professional, and they do a great therapeutic job with best intentions!

I got a very stubborn frozen shoulder. After receiving a few treatments, my condition improved a lot. Dr. Yakov is very knowledgeable and professional.
