Indian Restaurant Dhaba reviews
18Solid Indian food, large menu selection, and very reasonable prices compared to most NYC restaurants. I always enjoy coming back here.
Best Indian restaurant in NYC. Literally changed my life. If you're in NYC you have to try Dhaba. If you're not in NYC, make a trip out of it; Try Dhaba! Words cannot express how I feel about this place so I make an end of my writings.
Great food, a hard-to-find actual buffet, and decent value. Lighting decor in the dining room is low during daytime but fine in evenings. We'll be going back!
A good place to have North Indian food.
Their overall menu is good and you would be spoilt for choices
The staff is friendly and helps you pick what suits your taste buds
Priced just right.
My five friends and I had an AMAZING dinner at Dhaba. We ordered a lot of food. Chicken tikka, punjabi chole chickpeas, malai kofta, mango chicken. The parathas with ghee on them were also out of this world! The service was fantastic and the chef Kuldeep came out and talked with us so sweetly. Loved the environment and food. DEFINITELY recommend!
Great ambience, good food, overall a nice experience. I wish the service and tenders were faster though.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in New york.
Loved the food and the service.
Must visit if you are craving authentic Indian food.
4.5/5 — food was really good, had great portions and the staff were friendly.
Bathrooms were a bit dirty tho
Avoid this place! Food is terrible, oily, grease, tasteless. Save your money and go some place else.
We were on vacation in NY and this restaurant was the best option for our need food wise and operating hours as well. Even the chef came out to check on us. The service was immaculate and so was the ambience. All the food item was top notch. Me and my parents returned with happy face and happy belly.
Came on rainy Sunday night family and this place was busy! And I mean dine-in and lots of take out orders. We were seared immediately and service was efficient also. Food was very tasty and flavorful. Rich and authentic! Will recommend!
As an Indian, the quality has definitely gone downhill from 5 years ago. I wish they could stay consistent.
Dhaba is a good place in New York for quick bite and main course.
Dishes recommended: Papri Chaat, Daal Tadka
Good indian chow in the heart of little India, on Lexington avenue.we had the lunch buffet.reasonable prices, and tasty food.the one thing I would add is that their Tikka Masala was a tad too buttery.but all in all, very good Indian food.update after covid: Sept 14 2023
They have reinstated their buffet for lunch.
Photo of the buffet prices and timings attached.
My wife, her friends and I came here while looking for an Indian restaurant. Our waiter, Bhim, gave us very good service and the food was great. We had a very nice time here.
Everything about this place is authentic Indian.
It's a low-key place, a bit cramped, unsophisticated ambience, with mostly good food but a few average dishes.
The waiters and manager are serving with all their heart albeit their service quality isn't top notch. Very much Indian.
We loved the Chhole Bhatura, Chicken Tikka, and Goat curry. Their cocktails have the zing, so that's always a plus.
Overall, I would recommend this for an authentic Indian experience.
We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and our server, Bhim, was incredibly attentive and kind to us. His service truly made our dining experience special. We highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and outstanding service.
