I would be super wary of doing your treatment here! I had a very simple correction and was recommended the Smilify treatment. I was quoted 3 months. In total, from initial consult to final aligners, it came out to 9 months of treatment including a correction phase I had to request because the spacing was still far too big after my first trays ended. (Note: The doc did not show any concern at the time and probably would have finished my treatment then and there if I hadn’t spoken up.)

The Smilify treatment here is essentially a step above the online invisible braces services. You only see a doctor once at the beginning and towards the end. In my experience the interactions were always extremely brief and rushed, though at my last appointment there was a new doc who did my final eval and spent a bit more time polishing my smile so that I felt better overall with the end result. I would rate my final smile an 8.5/10.

There isn’t really an effort to check in and work with patients individually— for most appointments I had to ask the techs for next steps and follow up. You have to ask the questions, do the research, and take initiative. For my last appointment, for example, the doc suggested a permanent retainer but didn’t walk me through the pros and cons of getting one— nor did anyone explain that I needed to buy a new type of toothbrush and a new type of floss to help with all the food build up after getting a permanent retainer. I only found this out after getting the retainer installed and watching YouTube videos. Having to self-teach retainer care is crazy for the amount paid!

There are lots of other “service” gaps. As I was leaving, I had to ask one of the techs about what I should do while I waited for my final aligners. Only then did they remember to adjust my last trays to hold me over. I was only asked to upload progress pics once during my entire treatment— tbd if anyone looked at them. The online scheduling system is also a mess, as another reviewer said. There was also no clear explanation that the treatment only includes one round of correction— if you’re still not satisfied, you will have to pay for an additional round.

TL;DR: If you want a truly perfect smile, a doc who will work with you 1 on 1 to deliver that, and an office that gives individual attention and care— invest the xtra money and go elsewhere. If you just want a simple tune-up and don’t care too much about the rest, then this might be the place for you.

I came in to get information on braces, and the young lady in the front receptionist helped me with a pamphlet for Invisalign & Braces. She was so helpful and informative.

I love the doctor here and the assistant! Highly recommended I’ve been to plenty of diamond braces all around Brooklyn and in Staten Island but this one is the most comfortable for me. Plus I travel from Staten Island all the way here just because of the services! Treatment plan has excelled since coming to this location!

I went in for my son’s consultation today and I came out with my son being able to get braces at an affordable rate. They receptionist and consultant was very informative and explained what our options were very clearly. Thank you: -D

I love the attention that this location provides, Miss Giannina at the counter, she is kind, attentive, very communicative, she provides a lot of help in the process, and especially that she is bilingual, I love it great

When I walked in into this office it was very clean. The assistants they are very informative I felt very comfortable with the doctor and assistant who worked on me. Recommending this place to anyone who’s looking for orthodontic treatment. Thank you DB for the great work and experience.

Diamond Braces has been informative through the initial process, helpful and extremely comforting to my 12 year old daughter.

Virtual appointment process is a nightmare.
They ask patient to upload pics of teeth and keep telling you that there is an upcoming virtual appointment.
No confirmation of received pics much less appointment details.
Had to call and no one could confirm the pics were received.
Waited days for a call back which provided no more clarity.
Was told virtual appointment would be set the day before the appointment which is impossible for a patient to manage.
Had to schedule an in-office appt instead.
Checked in and after waiting 15 minutes in lobby past appointment time, walked to receptionist who was so into her phone I had to announce myself.
Then was told there was only one Dr in today and since I asked for the doctor I would just have to wait.
Ummm…I was told when I made the appointment I had to speak with the Dr.
Overall becoming less & less impressed with my experience here.

One of the worst experiences in my life. They made mistakes EVERY time I went. They forgot to take images or gave me the wrong trays… delaying my process by 4+ months. They are also very hard to get in contact with and only open 3 times a week. I would recommend NEVER going to this location. It’s a waste of time and money. I had the worst experiences of my life!

Nice staff. Doctor is really professional and nice as well. They take time explaining and getting you ready. Definitely one of the best places to get your braces!

The appointments are always overbooked and the staff is rude. The dental chairs are very close to one another in an open room plan so you have zero privacy as you are getting work done on your teeth. The actual orthodontists rotate so you never know who will be working on your teeth. Some of the docs I had were good others treated me very roughly and rushed through the procedures. They consistently extend the treatments plans to squeeze more money out of patients. Overall I would advise you to go elsewhere if you have the option. The price is not that great even though they advertise to have the most competitive pricing its basically comparable to other places. 2 stars because I will say my teeth are straighter 11 month into my treatment.
