American Restaurant DIG reviews
17Dig is fantastic! This location is the worst in NYC. Save yourself the grief and go to a different location. Super rude staff and refuse to give you what you want even when you are willing to pay extra for it!
I really love this delicious and nutritious chain. They have consistently scrumptious food and excellent service. My favorite location is the 67th St Upper West Side restaurant. The manager Eugenio, and supervisors Megan and Anthony are lovely and they manage a very happy staff. I look forward to my weekly meals there. It’s my favorite Dig location.
I have ordered three times from this sham place. Every single time it’s been wrong. Like how do you give me just lettuce and beets? !? I ordered a whole winter harvest salad and I got lettuce and beets.
Delicious. Needed some straight forward, healthy but still tasty food post holidays. Ordered a salmon bowl with veggies for delivery on my way home from the airport. Could not be happier. A new go go. Got the crispy Brussels sprouts, farro sweet potato base, broccoli and salmon, with some sides. All perfectly cooked and well seasoned.
Good quick grab and go food.however the quality varies depending on the time / day.sometimes the sweet potatoes are soft sometimes very hard.additionally, every time i have ordered for delivery i get a wrong item.so i would suggest going in person over ordering online unless you like surprises.
Y'all eating here then you know what it is. A healthy, mid-priced place to grab a meal on a lunch or dinner break. The Mac and cheese is slightly over rated.
My aunt and I met up here for lunch two days ago. She suggested this place due to the amazing catering work they have done for events she has been active in. Before entering, I also noticed that they had a standing ad, stating that they are available to help cater by providing filling sides for Thanksgiving/Harvest festival related events, which immediately drew my interest in general.
We dined in and I noticed that the place itself is a tad small with very few seats lining the walls and stools at the windows. I can imagine it may turn off some people, especially if it's crowded or a long wait.
But I found the behind kitchen decor with wooden shelves with jarred ingredients, hot meals under metal range hoods, modern tiled walls, drop lamps and bowled meals made out of repurposed materials to be oddly welcoming. It was a real smash of different styles to meet a contemporary look that I think can attract a range of people looking for warmth & a small hot meal to enjoy around the block.
Everything was very clean, from the dining spaces to the actual food itself.
Noise level was about medium due to the hot foods being prepared and a trendy crowd.
My aunt had a custom bowl with sweet potato, kale, rice and salmon while I had the Avocado and Lentils bowl, meatless. I found it delicious with the fresh avocado and habanada dressing, very filling with the amount of quinoa in it, plentiful greens, refreshing cucumber and the sweet potato that garnished the top properly roasted! I could not believe how full I was after it! I was worried about the size of the bowl and was wrong!
Anyway, there are a lot of places around this area to dine and the price is appropriate for the area and fresh ingredients.
I don't think I would mind popping in again some time, perhaps later in the day, later in the year to see what they have to offer! I'm curious as to what this semi open-kitchen restaurant has to offer throughout the year!
Food is much saltier and scantier then in the past. Nothing is labeled anymore for allergens, i was assured all sides were vegan but find myself with cheese in my bowl. Staff is cheerful and helpful, not their fault.
One of my favorite places to eat! They always have in season food and the best Brussel Sprouts. This place was the reason why I actually started eating Brussel Sprouts.
I put an order today in person and I was treated like a second-class citizen. Not only was my order incorrect but when I asked for my receipt the server avoided printing it out because his name would be associated with my order. My order was around 4: 45pm at the 100 W 67th street location.
I look forward to response, because after this experience I’m hesitant to ever dine at this establishment. I want something to be done about this situation.
Quick service, delicious food and healthy too. Their main offering is a highly customizable bowl comprising a base, sides and a main that can be a veggie or a meat. I Ordered the Dig classic and wasn’t disappointed. Charred chicken sweet potatoes and broccoli on a bed of brown rice with a garlic aioli sauce.
Dig was really good. So many of these style places don't have flavorful enough food.
This food was interesting and delicious. Especially liked the spicy tofu.
Tasty food but quality and portion size has gone downhill. Veggies are burnt. Although you are still getting 6 chicken slices the thickness is reduced by 50%. Good job to the kitchen staff for slicing the chicken so thinly.
Another example of shrinkflation.
Hasn't gotten any better in the past year. My pickup note say to avoid putting burnt veggies in so either they didn't read the notes or all their vegetables are burnt and frankly, I'm not sure which is worse! The cauliflower has no taste and looks as if they use the vegetable after past freshness. The sweet potatoes have no taste either and some of their vegetables are cooked in canola oil as opposed to Olive Oil which if you are eating for healthy reasons it should be a concern. Lastly the mac and cheese tasted old and was full of bread crumbs which made it mushy. Both pesto and vingerette side sauces were extraordinary sour. Thank god they were on the side!
Last time eating here
Surprised how good this is. I don't usually like salad places but I got rice & greens, chicken breast, potato salad with pesto sauce. Twice. Will be back soon!
Consistently good food. Such an easy option to pick up. Charred chicken, rice and sweet potatoes is my go to. Good price point and fast quality food.
