American Restaurant DIG reviews
20 Update, 12/28/23
Had a great meal with my son, but I have to give her a shout out to the amazing customer service today
Fresh and healthy AND AFFORDABLE Food in the heart of Williamsburg.
I love walking into Dig at Williamsburg location, such of great service, fresh vegetables, fresh salmon can’t ask for better service, Happy Holidays DIG!
First time at this DIG, the food was fantastic, I’m definitely coming back. I use to go to the one near broad st and that one was horrible. But this one? I’m really liking it so far. Customer service? Stellar. I was served by a young person by the name of Quyn. She was great, charismatic. I’ll be back because of her.
Been to this location several times and have had below average experiences until I met Quinn who was working the line and register. She is AMAZING! DIG would be an absolute fool to not promote her! She not only was extremely kind, but very informative of the menu, patient (was with some first time dig customers), and just was a great person to interact with. Quinn changed my whole perception and experience at DIG. Thank you!
Saltiest food ever! Every ingredient in my bowl was salty - the salmon, the kale, the brussel sprouts, the side of Mac n cheese. It was so salty that it was inedible. I love Dig but this location needs to change their recipe, or the chef. The other locations food does not taste this salty.
Food is much like other locations, but the service is inconsistent. I've experienced nice, prompt service and the exact opposite.
Not sure of her name but the women working the line on the evening of 11/1 was incredible. So kind and informative. Food was great too!
The service was good and the food is always great but the rice was a little hard for my liking.
Okay place to go in a pinch, enough seating and clean.
I usually love DIG but the bowl I got here was extremely salty (got the kale, salmon, brussel sprouts and sweet potato). I had to drink 3 cups of water with it. Oversalting doesn't mean flavor! Please add like 80% less salt and just let customers add more if they want, it's easy to add but impossible to take away.
Saw dude making my food with no gloves, had to walk out immediately. He was making another plate with his whole thumb in the bowl, that's just nasty
They have the saltiest chicken ever! My carrots were burnt to a crisp! The watermelon does not look fresh, seems like it’s been sitting there all day. However, the rice taste fine. Never ordering from here again.
I love going to DIG, but I will avoid the Williamsburg location from now on. A few pointers read below:
1. This bowl was $19 for a very poor portion of kale, the broccoli is 80%root had no taste 3 carrots and the salmon was very fishy and dry maybe a few days old.
2. Their customer service is by far the worst experience I ever had. They stare at the customers with lots of attitude as if we are a pain because they are filling online orders, I honestly feel bad for people who order delivery who think the food arrives with bad presentation because of the delivery drivers but it’s actually their lack of passion for presentation of even portion control.
Awful will never come back again, Thankfully on the same block there’s 4 other choices for healthy food and all treat their customers better and give better portions with excellent quality.
Always understaffed, always waiting even when food is ready (they won't hand over your pickup bag because they prioritize walk in customers). Do not expect quick service.
First and last time. Food was ok but metal parts came out of my bowl. When I told them about it they just said “oh ok” not even an apology.
I got a delivery order so can't speak to inside the restaurant but the food was really good. I got the hot honey chicken bowl and a side of balsamic which I used for the broccoli. I got seemingly full portions so hopefully I never get a smaller bowl as some people mentioned.
My favorite take out. Very gluten free friendly and just overall fresh yummy food. This will be my “I don’t feel like cooking” meal or “we just got back from traveling” meal and I never feel gross. Filling but nutrient dense!
Service sucks! I went to this location to get some food and they had it closed only making grub hub and uber eats order because they were backed up. Instead of prioritizing walk in customers.
Good avo grains bowl. Staff were really helpful and asked about salt/pepper for the avocado.
Love it, staff is friendly and that fried tofu huts the spot. Tried today for the first time.
Food has always been good. I have been a loyal customer for years but the service has dwindled. Recently I ordered a dinner box and got 5 sriracha sauces. Which makes no sense, I asked for more and was met with disbelief that 5 sauces for essentially 4 meals is not enough. It’s as if extra sauces come out of every workers check.
In the end I spent an extra $4.00 for more. To make matters worse, I was so engrossed in this back to back that I forgot to fully assess my order. Turns out I was missing 2 Mac &cheese orders, that was the last straw. I was able to contact Ubereats and get refunded. But I will be looking for an eatery with better service and less focus on how much sauces someone gets.
