I was looking for a good local beef farm I could start with and found Dirty Dog. Josh is so quick to answer any emails with any questions. I mean like within 30 minutes. The dood stays in touch constantly and sends out informational emails once or twice a week with stories, announcements or just industry information. The beef is 2nd to none. Put your mass farmed store bought meat next to it and youll see. Youll never buy store bought again. Im waiting for my 2nd order to come next week and will never go back to store bought.

We are so pleased with the quality of our half Beef share from Dirty Dog Farm. Everything from the quality of the meat, the care taken during the butchering process and the quality of the cuts to the “customer service. ” It feels more like we’ve made a really great acquaintance who has the best meat hook up in the area with a real interest in raising and butchering animals in a respectful and sustainable way. 100% recommend!

I just wanted to let you know I got my beef share today and could not be happier with this beef (I ate one of the ribeyes). The flavor, texture, and quality are second to none. You now have a customer for as long as you are raising beef.

We finally got a chance to try your ground beef and steak this week and all I can say is WOW! We have been eating grass fed beef for years now (thanks to a new corn allergy that corn fed beef triggers), but the difference in taste, texture and tenderness is incredible. This is our family's second year purchasing a beef share from Dirty Dog Farm and I cannot emphasize enough the QUALITY of their grass fed beef. These are happy cows, humanely raised with love, by a caring team- and it shows in the taste of the beef! Not only is the beef share a great investment in our family's health, but it also actually saved us a lot of money over the course of the year with rising meat prices. Josh and his team are very responsive and provide great customer service as well as education around ethical farming practices. We are so grateful for their beautiful farm and products.

The beef at Dirty Dog Farm is amazing. I bought a 20 # sample first, and my wife and I love it. We tried it twice to make a good decision. The flavor balance and texture is absolutely perfect. I have been a Professional Chef for over 30 years and I worked with a lot of farms in Vermont since the 90s, but this is the perfect taste profile.

Love the beef at Dirty Dog Farm! Josh is great, we always enjoy his farm update emails. He’s a local farmer and we like supporting local farms. We order from them because of the grass fed grass finished beef. My wife has multiple food allergies and commercially processed beef causes an allergic reaction. She has no problems with Dirty Dog beef. We both agree it tastes great and the price is better than buying in the store. In short, we love Dirty Dog Farm beef because it’s great tasting, grass finished, locally owned, and offers great pricing.

I can not recommend Dirty Dog Farm enough! I just placed my second beef share order and am really looking forward to receiving it. The beef is top notch quality and the variety of cuts in the shares is wonderful. The sausage that comes with each share is delicious, too! Stumbled across a reel of theirs on IG. So glad I found them! I ordered a mini bundle as part of a new customer offer. My photos are not the best, but the beef is amazing. If you never had fresh, grassfeed beef, it's time to try. You won't regret it. Not to mention, Josh is super responsive to emails and answers any questions you may have. We are loving this meat! It’s going great - from what we’ve had already it’s tender, juicy, easy to cook, and has not disappointed us. I’ve cooked some steaks, the stew meat, and the ribs. One of my favorite dishes I’ve shared over the years is my homemade chili made with ground Turkey. Well, I made a big batch 2 weeks ago with the DD ground beef to RAVE reviews.

Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. The only hitch in the giddy-up was my freezer going down the exact day the meat came - so we had to run out and purchase a new one. But to have this meat being the first thing going in, made the necessary adjustment well worth it.

This will be my third year filling the freezer with Dirty Dog beef, and I don't plan on changing that any time soon. I trust the farmers who make it all happen and it gives me peace of mind knowing exactly where and how my food was raised. Finally took the local farmed beef plunge! No more store bought beef for our family! Actually taste the difference, so much fresher and flavorful.and that was just the chopped meat so far. Made hamburgers.even my 9 year old daughter could taste the difference.more importantly she liked the flavor.
